Guitar Center

This Guitar Center is the best music store ever. It's not the inventory as much as it is the staff. Managers Chris and Bobby are extremely friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff are amazing as well. I pick this Guitar Center over any other and any other music store. Go see what I mean. You won't be disappointed!!

This Guitar Center is a musicians’ haven. They almost got everything a musician needs. My sons and daughter would come here to buy whatever we need for our guitars and other music instruments. Just coming here is a huge inspiration to just enjoy the art of making music and dreaming for your wishlists and best goals as an artist and musician. Five star from me and my kiddos for this Guitar Center!

I love this location cuz it's right around the corner from my house. They always have really good selection of guitars, bass, drums, mixers, controllers, monitors..basically everything for your home or professional recording needs employees are friendly and experienced.

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Chris, the store manager and Adam one of the instructors at this Guitar center , and I was truly impressed by the level of service they provided. Despite being in a different state, I called to inquire about a drum set, and Chris and Adam went above and beyond to assist me.

Absolutely love the experience with this Guitar Center located in West Cary. I made a reservation for speakers and needed help and suggestions regarding how to set it up... had all the help I could get. Bobby - the owner probably, is an awesome person to work with and a nice gentleman answered all my questions. Bobby went out of the way to help me with my rental. Very helpful people at work and I will recommend to my friends and family!!

Hey !! Just wanted rekindled my skills as a guitar player & came to this particular guitar center. If anyone is to buy any merchandise from Guitar center I recommend this guitar center above all. If there’s ever an employee you need to assist you. Ask for james, you will not be unsatisfied.

I have shopped at Guitar Center for many years and two weeks ago I received the best customer service I ever have from an associate named Charlie. I was browsing keyboards when Charlie came to help. I was very frustrated that I couldn’t figure out the basics of some of the keyboards, and I’m embarrassed to say that I was probably a bit of a jerk. Charlie admitted that although keyboards were not his wheelhouse he would be happy to help me. He undersold himself. He knew exactly how to work the keyboards and helped me figure out exactly which one I needed. I was looking at features that were not applicable to what I needed. He was very low pressure, knowledgeable, and he calmed me right down like he had a PhD in psychology. He was very kind and down to earth. I hope they use him as an example when training new associates because he is about as good as it will ever get. The keyboard I wanted was out of stock, and Charlie worked with his colleagues to send me home with a keyboard that evening until mine arrived. Thank you Guitar Center and thank you Charlie.

Found GC looking for help with an old classical guitar I found that belonged to my late father. Even though it was not worth much, the staff treated me with surprising attention and detail finding new strings and recommendations on how to best restore myself.

After starting lessons, staff has been patient and professional with all of my beginner questions. Shout-out to Charlie! Exceptional helping me find whatever I've needed! No pressure, never up-selling, just supportive and kind. 2 days ago I walked in looking to buy a specific model guitar and Charlie (again) took time to help me find a different guitar that better matched my goals and style... I am beyond thrilled with the sound and playability!

I cannot recommend the Cary Guitar Center enough.

Great atmosphere, the staff are all super friendly, the store is well maintained and their prices are very good for the inventory that they have.

My son ordered an 8 string guitar from.the website and when it arrived, the body was cracked where the neck attaches. We brought it here for a return/exchange and the staff here was more than helpful. Chris handled the exchange with a little help from Bobby. They really made us feel comfortable through the whole process and they were very patient with our questions and inquiries. This is definitely our home store!!

Still, by far, our favorite Guitar Center and the best staff!! Everyone is very welcoming, helpful, patient and professional. Feels like home!!

I went in to see if I could figure out an issue with an instrument stand --wasn't there to buy anything big. One of the fellows working dropped everything to help, opening boxes, helping take some items apart, making suggestions. He was VERY helpful and I was really impressed. His coworkers were part of this as well. They were just great and I really appreciate the help.

This review is for the Guitar Center in Cary, NC and extends the praise I have for the young staff. Devon was my representative and was a pleasure to do business with. He provided me with the model of guitar that I called him about early in the week. I live in Fayetteville, NC and they did not have the guitar I wanted. The entire staff was friendly and helpful ( they even saved me a little cash) and made sure my gig bag was the correct one. This location is very well stocked with equipment. Thank you all for your kind professionalism. I will keep you in mind should my local store not have what I'm looking for. It was only an hour away and a pleasant drive. Thank you!

Small store but nice people

The employees who helped me totally deserve recognition for how helpful and friendly they were for me this week, they totally went above and beyond!

Charlie - Very nice salesman who helped me pick out a guitar within my budget, and I felt very safe with their extra COVID-19 precautions throughout my few visits. I really appreciate his customer service and he also put in an order for an amp that was not in stock. Was able to come back in 3 days and pick it up.

Allen - Great guitar tech!! I took my guitar back to the store for an adjustment, sometimes products get bumped around when shipping overseas, or get overlooked during manufacturing. He adjusted my truss rod for me and fixed a screw on the pickup that was loose. He also took the time to teach me how to use a tuner that I had bought somewhere else, it was very appreciated and beyond what I expected.

I hope that corporate Guitar Center reads these reviews, both of these guys deserve a shout out and reward for their customer service. I will be a regular customer here for sure.
