Ye Olde Coffee House

Ye Olde Coffee House is a wonderful addition to the Grottoes community. The coffee tastes great, and the establishment purveys its own unique beverages.

The coffeehouse has a wonderfully indie atmosphere inside, with a corner featuring a small sofa adorned with a patchwork quilt and various historical paraphernalia on the walls, a tiny (but perfectly formed) leatherworks shop where you can buy items handcrafted by one of the coffeehouse owners, a table with a built-in chess board (ask the cashier for the chess pieces, if you would like to play), and an overall homey and welcoming ambience.

Cool little local shop, good quality coffee; haven’t had a single bad cup yet! Their scones are also delicious and soft.
A little room for improvement with their atmosphere if they want to turn it into the kind of shop that attracts laptops and studiers, but for now they seem to primarily support coffee needs for those headed to work for the day.

I absolutely love this shop! The owners, Diane and Abby, are dear friends of mine and have done a wonderful job! The love they put into each order makes a difference 💕 Also! Abby and Kiaya are the best!

Stopped by on our way north on 340 today. It was a block off the main road but well worth the diversion. The coffee was great and their blueberry scones redefined the meaning of scones. These were crispy and sweet on the outside with a moist fragrant blueberry flavor inside. Just amazing!

I think this place is really cute and I loved the chai! There’s neat historical antiques and leather items as well! Gabby was really nice so I would definitely go back!

I have experienced some of the best coffee I have ever drank. And I love those homemade cookies.

Lovely little coffee shop! Loved the chai tea and lemon scuffin I got, which made the morning just that much better.

Great food, great service! Quaint location, too.
