Our family has been a customer of Kpt Heating & Air for decades. The service has always been predictably good. My last maintenance service was exceptional with a very thorough check of our system and ducts from attic to crawl space to help one room that didn't seem to be venting properly. I really appreciate the extra care!

First. Kingsport Heating has highly trained and knowledgeable tech’s, they have one person CR who is very thorough and gets right to doing what is needed along with excellent troubleshooting skills. He takes the extra steps to ensure that the system is preforming as required and points out any possible issues and what the impact would be if not corrected.

Buck and Mathew did a great job. Knowledgeable folks with a good attitude and hard working. 24 hour emergency service. Calls were returned promptly service man Sam showed up when he said he would. The guys showed up to install the new heat pump when they said they would be here. Could not have had a better experience with it 20 degrees outside! Not one complaint.

Professional and on time and very very reasonable for the price. They examined my unit and told me about my warranty and how old my unit is and gave me very informal information on our unit that I was not aware of because we were not sure of the age of this unit. I will call them for my yearly maintenance service . They are affordable.

Of course during some of the coldest weather on a weekend/holiday is when the heat goes out at midnight!! Called at daylight on Saturday morning hoping someone was working and it wouldn't cost a fortune as extra weekend fees. Got a call back within the hour and Sam said he was on the way. He explained way happened and got my house warm again. The fee was reasonable especially for a weekend emergency visit and I appreciate that! Sam was very courteous and professional. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

During the early morning hours of a Saturday, the heating portion of my package unit quit. I called them around 9:30. They told me to expect a call from service technician, Graham. As promised, he did call me at about 10:30 and said he was in Rogersville and would call me when he was 30 minutes away. He did. He arrived and asked some questions to understand the problem them immediately began inspecting the unit. In a short time he had narrowed the problem down to a single but critical capacitor. He had a replacement on his van, installed it then performed an overall inspection of the unit.
I was amazed at how reasonable the bill was!

Came when expected. It was a maintenance visit. Young man was efficient and informative. Well worth 5 stars.

Very thankful for their promptness since I was only in town a short while. Their technician, EJ, was very very helpful,thorough, and knowledgeable. I defiantly reccomend this company and I see why my step mother used them. Again thankyou very much

Kingsport Heating & Air did an awesome job of inspecting the heat pump and cleaning the ducts in my new home! They were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When my heat pump needs serviced or repaired, Kingsport Heating & Air will be the only one I call. Thank you for an awesome job!

Excellent service and price, from a replacement on a large unit for a commercial building to a repair on a small apartment gas heater. The customer service folks in the office to the tech's in the field have always been great.

Labor Day weekend, no air. I called the service and was contacted by the tech right away. Service Tech called me and was here in 30 minutes...another 30 minutes and A/C working. Great response time, tech nice and job done quickly..didnt matter it was a holiday weekend!!! Thank you

Kingsport Heating and Air Conditioning installed a Carrier 1.5 ton heat pump beginning last week. Owner Rick Millsap came out and evaluated my situation where the existing upstairs unit was not able to properly heat the downstairs of the condo we recently purchased. He recommended a separate unit to heat and cool the downstairs. His crews responded quickly and installed the indoor unit on very short notice which allowed us to enjoy heat just before the Christmas holiday..
The crews came back this week to tie in the outdoor unit. Included in Rick's estimate to perform the job was to do a complete maintenance and repair on the existing upstairs unit. This included replacing some existing flex duct that had been crushed over the years and making sure the coils were clean on the indoor unit and that the float switch was working properly on the condensate pan.
The crews who performed the work were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and took the time to explain how the new wi-fi connected thermostats worked.
I am very pleased with the work done by Kingsport Heating and Air Conditioning and would recommend them to anyone who is considering purchase and installation of a new HVAC unit.

hmmm, i''m surprised to see negative reviews on here based on my dealings with them. i've used them twice now, once back in 2007 and again in 2011, each time was for a general checkup. i didn't feel overcharged at all. have another appt for them to come out this week (6/2013) to check things out again. . .i guess i'll see if anything has changed in their service since the last time.

I have used Kingsport Heating & Air Conditioning on my personal and commercial properties. I've always found them to be fair, responsive and professional.

Very very nice people, we towed a truck for them this morning, the guys at the truck was nice CS and professional,,, and then when I unloaded the truck at there shop Rick himself was very polite and the ladies in the office was polite, professional, & ready to assist in getting us paid... these are the people I reccomend when someone ask me..... thanks Craig Jonathan W.
