Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens

Absolutely Fantastic! Best salmon & lox bagel I have found in the US (I am half Norwegian and love good salmon). Everything was fresh and the matcha latte was delicious! The owners are friendly and service was prompt.

My wife and I stumbled across this beautiful little eatery on our drive from Greenville, SC to Lake Lure, NC. We dined al fresco at a table next to the water fountain with beautiful guitar music serenading us through our meal. The food was exceptional with mouth watering flavors. Try the artisan drinks, including non-alcoholic options like the cucumber lemonade or the watermelon iced tea. Both had great flavor and were not overpowering with sugar! They sell wine by the bottle to take home, and they were setting up for some live music this evening. Beautiful garden setting with the most friendly staff. We pinned this place on Google maps for a certain return!!

Grey Hawk accommodated our family of 17 for a special holiday dinner. George, Jill and Adam took very good care of us - from the bubbly and Shirley Temples as we arrived to fresh wedge salad, delicious pot roast with Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for our younger guests and specially made and presented banana/chocolate cake for dessert. All served with specially selected wine. Our family was blown away by the whole experience. Everything was perfect!
I cannot say enough good things about George and his team. In addition to our special family dinner, we’ve also been enjoyed a Sunday supper and brunch. If you are in the Lake Lure area, make Grey Hawk part of your visit. You will love it!

Such a fun find, beautiful ambiance and intimate, friendly service and welcoming. But mostly food was outstanding yet simple and the cocktails were spot on and impressive. Highly recommend the charcuterie and if you are a classic espresso martini fan, this is your spot. Or any classic martini.

I had the breakfast sandwich. It was on the smaller side for me. However, it was amazing.I sat outside enjoying the sunlight and fresh breeze as vehicles drove by (about 75-100 meters). I added a scone and a vanilla Chai latte to go.

We’ve been passing by wanting to try it out since they opened but our schedules just didn’t work with the hours. Today we got super lucky!

Adam was our server and he was the best, Super helpful, attentive, and genuinely nice. We started with the fish board (trout) and it was delicious, the pickled veggies were crispy and flavorful but that fish!!! It was so fresh and the texture and smoked flavor were balanced wonderfully! Veggie soup was perfect for the windy weather and paired well with the green apple old fashioned. We finished lunch off with an adult affogato; It was so perfect we made reservations for the Sunday supper later that evening. Twice in one day! And it wasn’t enough! We’re definitely hooked and can’t wait to come back. 10/10 food/service/staff/location

What an awesome spot! Cannot recommend Grey Hawk enough! The food and service were both excellent. I don't often leave reviews, but felt especially compelled to share my positive experience with Grey Hawk. My wife and I visited for lunch and returned the following day for breakfast. Both meals were incredibly tasty and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I've been meaning to write this review for a couple weeks now and just got around to doing so --- the impression has definitely stuck with me! If you're reading this review, you should definitely go check Grey Hawk out. You won't be disappointed!

George arranged a lovely private family dinner for our family of 15 . I can’t say enough wonderful things about the experience, service, and food.

We also went for brunch last week and it was wonderful. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious, the food was great, and the service was impeccable.

Great food and even better service! The Atmosphere was incredible as well. The staff is extremely friendly and from the beginning you are greeted with a smile! Highly recommend you visit if you are in the Lake Lure area!

Phenomenal breakfast with the family, outdoor setting was wonderful. All of our espresso drinks were delicious as well. Stop looking, go here!

I stopped here for lunch with my husband and daughter during a winter visit to lake lure. I'm so glad a place like this exists in the town! George was super friendly, and we loved the huge charcuterie board we got, along with soups and bloody Mary's. The restaurant vibe was so cozy. We've been planning to try to get to one of their tuesday night suppers or wine tastings, but haven'tbeen able to pull it off yet. Highly recommend.

Very enjoyable! We had a couple of cocktails and a delicious charcuterie board. It's a very nice setting and we look forward to checking out live music here as the gardens mature and they begin to offer plants for sale.

This is a very welcome addition to the community!

This oasis in Lake Lure is my go-to spot for intimate atmosphere, best service and always delicious, fresh, unique food offerings. The choice of cocktails and wine are superior.

This place was wonderful! The food was unique, delightful, and fresh. Our server was super friendly, and the whole place is just lovely.

We are frequent visitors of Lake Lure so while driving in today my husband and I said, "Oh, that place is new!" After a quick stop for a bite and a drink we will definitely be back! I had the Garden Patch cocktail which was delicious and we shared the smoked trout charcuterie board. We can't wait to go back and try something new! Our server Jill was also sweet and courteous. We are so happy to have another food option while visiting our favorite mountains.

I was served the best vegetarian lasagna last night! It was exceptional. The side salad was also perfect. The dessert, delicious.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a charming, cozy setting. Highly recommend for eats and drinks. Fabulous selection of custom coffee drinks as well 😊

Went for "Thick as Theives Tuesday" and had a wonderful evening with friends. 3 course meal with drinks was outstanding! Highly recommend.

The food here is wonderful! It’s so fresh and healthy, you can tell it’s made in house. Love the event dinners. This is a must visit restaurant for sure.
