Javi's Mexican Grill & Tavern

We had lunch there on Saturday. Staff was friendly and courteous. My wife had the Street Tacos with chicken and a Margarita. I had the Tex -Mex Burrito and Corona on draft. The food was really good and I liked the presentation on the plate. We will definitely go back.

Javi’s was fantastic for our company meeting lunch. They did a taco bar for us and everything was amazing! They individually wrapped tortillas and packaged up the salsa for each person to grab and go and had it all organized perfectly. They were timely in getting it ready for us to pick up and very communicative through the whole process. Could not recommend this restaurant more!

We visited Helen from out of town and ordered this originally through Grubhub. After our order kept getting delayed I called the restaurant. The nicest person answered the phone, explained my food had been ready, but a Grubhub driver had not shown up. She was so apologetic and told me how to cancel my order through Grubhub. She said they would remake my order so it would be fresh and I could come pick it up if that worked better for me. It was only about 8 miles from where we were staying so we went ahead and picked it up. As tired as we were, and did not want to drive, the food looked too good in the pictures online to pass it up!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so chill and they had live music. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The food was beyond amazing. It was fresh and authentic. Whenever we're back in the Helen/Cleveland area again we will definitely be back!

We stopped by after a hike. The restaurant looks colorful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They kept checking on us. The food was very fresh and tasty.

I had a fantastic experience at Javis restaurant. The ambiance was lively, creating a great atmosphere for an enjoyable meal. The menu offered a diverse selection of authentic dishes, and the flavors were exceptional. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive dining experience. I especially loved their quesadillas and enchiladas! It's a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine.

They always has amazing and quick service. Food is absolutely the best around and fulfilling with great portions. They also have a must try breakfast that will surprise you.10 out of 10 recommended!

Javi's is a gem in Cleveland. The food and service are excellent. The Javi's Fajitas come with every type of meat possible including pork and chorizo. Very tasty and generous portions.

My office had a meeting with a Taco Bar from Javi’s and it was the best meeting I’ve ever participated in 😂 The food was SO amazing! And they thought of everything; cilantro, onions, rice, beans, even all the salsas! You will not regret eating here!

Great food and awesome staff. We were drawn to the restaurant by the Google reviews and the responses. Stephanie the owner handled even the bad reviews like a boss, being respectful but still able to point out how they tried to make it right. The ceviche is great and the robot food server made it entertaining. Definitely a must see when visiting. Thank you guys for making our trip fabulous with this experience.

Ordered enough food for a Taco Bar (3 proteins, rice, beans, and ALL THE FIXINGS!) for a 14 person meeting and Stephanie made the entire process SEAMLESS! Not only was the food was DELICIOUS but when we went to pick the food up, the staff was sooo helpful loading up the car with nothing but smiling faces! Also, the price was more than reasonable for the amount of food we got! Thank you to everyone, especially Stephanie and Javi for making this happen! Yall, come eat here and you will not be disappointed!

Good food fresh because very busy. Kid friendly, has a bar, ask for beniii😀. People taking care of people, fast service,friendly ❤ . First night out in a while as bd it was nice😁😁

I love the food, atmosphere, and service at Javi's!! The owners are always welcoming and gracious. The food is yummy, prompt, and served with a smile. I enjoy the lively music, coffee bar, robot waiter, and the overall vibe at Javi's! The decor is second to none. I'm so glad to have this restaurant in my community.

Best restaurant in Cleveland. Be it Breakfast, lunch or dinner; the food is awesome & hearty portions too. You don't leave hungry or unhappy. Made to order any which way you like with no problems.

I am updating my original review. We went back to give Javi's
a second chance.
The food was delicious and they got our order almost correct. They forgot to put the guacamole on my wife's dinner, after alerting the server he immediately brought it to the table. The music from the Lattas Duo was an added bonus to the evening.
The only criticism was the server never asked if we wanted anything else, he just dropped the check off as he walked by. I had to get his attention to order dessert. Again he dropped off the check before I could order some drinks and beer. It would be nice to ask if you need or want anything else before dropping the check off as you walk by.
We will definitely go back again to eat and listen to the Lattas.

I knew we were in trouble when there was a language divide trying to order our dinner. I ordered the enchiladas supreme which states on the menu 4, one beef, one bean, one cheese and one chicken and then the server asked if I wanted pork enchiladas?? I told her I wanted what was listed right on the menu and no sour cream on my dinner.
My wife asked to add sour cream and guacamole to her entree listed as a $1.00 for each item right on the menu.
When the bill was presented it had sour cream $3.00 and guacamole $4.25. I told them it was supposed to be $2.00 total add not $7.25 , they proceeded to show me the side item portion of the menu, I showed them the add to your dinner line. They finally adjusted the bill but charged $2.00 for the guacamole and a $1.00 for the sour cream but with a rotten attitude...will not be going back.
The food was lack luster at best.
We had to ask three times for a cup of decaf coffee and never offered a refill.

We went to Javi's after visiting the Cabage Patch hospital. Everyone was so nice to us as we were starving and the service was fast, food was fresh and tasty. Priced well and my 5 stars gladly given.

Very polite server and great service overall. Food was really good too. We had a larger party and they were very accommodating to that.

I want to thank Javi and Stephanie for their delicious food and Customer Service. It’s our favorite restaurant in the beautiful mountains of Cleveland Ga. Maria is our favorite waitress, but all staff is great. Thanks so much for being amazing.

This is my favorite Mexican spot right now. I used to drive all the way to Gainesville but have been coming here since I found this place. Especially love their chorizo, I don't know what spices they're using but it's phenomenal. It's hard to get bad Mexican food, it's my favorite, but when you find somewhere that hits the mark, it's amazing

This great restaurant catered our business meeting. It was absolutely delicious and way more food than we needed but it was greatly appreciated and well done!
