Mexican Inn Cafe

The food was excellent as always. They have outdoor seating, which is where we were and it was very nice. I don't usually go to this location. The service is always good at other locations but was very slow here. And we didn't get everything you usually get...i.e. no tortillas. I still love Mexican Inn, but I would probably pick a different location.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant, efficient waitress, she was kind and attentive.

Food is awesome! The absolute freshest corn chips & tortillas you will ever get. You can't hell the servers reviews, but we had amazing service too. Love this place ❤

Cameron was an exceptionally good waiter. He was polite, courteous and kept us well informed. We had a very pleasant experience with him as our waiter. With him there we will definitely come again

Food is always delicious, this location in lake worth is one of my favorites. The wait staff is mostly good. We have had a few not so friendly but I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker. I would recommend this location and this concept of your liking for good Mexican food with an affordable price tag.

There is never a reason to say anything negative about Mexican Inn it is my go-to Mexican food with the best chips in town. They have the best sweet tea hands down of any place I go. I can feel myself up with their chips salsa and tea. If you have first-time visitors to Fort Worth you owe it to them to take them to Mexican Inn

THIS is the best Mexican Inn that I have been to. I have loved the Mexican Inn for 40+ years. It is my favorite place to eat. The Mexican Inn on Airport Freeway is so much better than the one on 287 Frontage that there is no comparison.

Another wonderful meal devoured at one of my favorite go to restaurants! This time we had the honor of the owner being our personal server, Robbie thank you so much for your attention and always making our visit pleasant. The nachos, OMG, the best I've ever had to date. My friend and I were melting from the Texas heat, cooling off in the bar area with you're smiling face is exactly what we needed! Thanks again!l

The food quality was superb. My wife said the nachos were possibly the best shes ever had, and my taco plate was delicious. The homemade corn tortillas are the best!!! The service was good though i didn't get corn tortillas until i asked and they are supposed to be complimentary with the chips and salsa and our waiter disappeared after we ordered our food and we didn't see him again until a long wait for our food. This was at lunchtime, ordering the lunch special, which by design should come out a little faster.
Plus the air conditioner was too low and it was quite cold in there.
Overall, great place to dine!

Today I happened to remember my experience with this restaurant from the 70's on Lancaster Rd. in east Fort Worth. Found this location near me in Lake Worth and ordered using DDash.Ordered enchiladas three ways,beef,cheese and chicken. The order was delivered promptly as ordered with complimentary chips and salsa. Perfection! Why have I waited so long? This Really hit the spot! I have nothing but compliments and good memories.

Last time was year and a half ago. It was good then but a lot better now. Had brisket burrito. It was huge ,hot, and fresh. Wife had enchiladas. Excellent. Chips were best ever had there. This was in lake worth. Server was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this location. UPDATE 6/2/2022. Wife and I have enjoyed Mexican Inn for years. Mostly the 8th Avenue and Lake Worth. Dined today @ Lake worth at 4pm. To clarify I ate it all because I was hungry. Waited all day to go. We were seated by a very nice gentleman and our waitress was very friendly. Appetizer chips were good but cold. My meal was 3 chicken enchiladas with rice and charro beans. Beans were good, but bowl was more juice than beans. Rice was enough for 1 enchilada. This was the first time I ever had to use a knife to cut enchiladas. The chicken filling was dry. Like left from lunch. No comment from Wife. Will go again but it will be 8th Avenue. 1-18-23 UPDATE/ lake worth, BB was our server. EXCELLENT. Food was hot, fresh and large servings. Chips still not as hot as should be. Very good meal.

Great waiter (Javier) super friendly and the tex mex and margaritas hit the spot. Kids love the bean and cheese taco plate. 🌮

I went there today with my girlfriend. The waiter seemed kidna good at first then turned out kinda bad. The chips were not very good and don't know what happened they used to be very good. They were not hot at all seemed burnt. The waiter gave me a bowl of crumbs had to ask for more. I hope the next time I go back I hope it's better if not I will eat at the Bedford location

Just stumbled upon this place while driving around Eagle Mountain Lake. Can't say enough good about this restaurant 😋!! Will definitely be returning for more great food and great service. Many thanks.
