Very well appointed general store with awesome, friendly staff! We enjoyed coffee, hotdogs, a chat, and warm respite from the freezing snow. Clean restrooms and good wifi too. We'll be back!

Great little stop which looks like it serves the community as well as people camping locally or passing through. Plenty of food, beverages, souvenirs and camping supplies available. Also fuel! The staff were really friendly as well.

I've been stopping by this business for over 60 years as my parents would take the family camping in the area. It remains a small country store with basic food items, a service station and serves some basic lunch items. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff.

Neat little stop on our way to Big Trees. We picked up yummy paninis to go, had gifts, wine, all the essentials, as well as wifi!

Shared a wonderful meal here at the Camp Connell Cafe, which is part of the General Store. It just happened to open this past weekend, 10/28/17, so lucky us! Good simple bites to warm you up in the morning, plus a hearty lunch selection with wine and beer listings galore! Check them out on your way up to Bear Valley, an when on your way down the hill!

Great customer service, good beer on tap, and saves you from going into town to get a few things you might need for the meal you already have cooking. 😉

This is the heart of the Camp Connell and Dorrington area. The local store is vital in winter, when it is best not to venture too far.
The summer music events are great. I've brought a good number of people to the family cabin, and having this venue was the deal maker on many occasions. Camp Connell rocks!

Meatball sub on a long road trip really hit the spot, offered with olives, I love this place.

Love this lil place they have pretty much all your needs covered been here many times but this time I ate there and have to say I was impressed. The staff of course are always friendly, Definetly stop by if your up that way

Great general store close to Big Trees. Friendly staff and well stocked with tons of goods. Everything you need should you forget something like sponges or batteries or slingshots. 😂

Camp Connell General Store is the friendliest business in town. Dan holds the door open for customers! Who does that? We so appreciate everything he offers including chains! He is always funny and laughing! This place is very family friendly too! Thank you Dan for being so good to everyone!

Great place with pretty everything you need for anything. The coffee is excellent, the food is excellent, and the employees are wonderful.

WiFi, ice, bait, cake mix and Tylenol. If you need it, you can probably find it here. Not at all expensive considering the location. There's hot food too but I didn't try any.

Beautiful lovely place, rustic. We wanted to sit outside by the creek under the shady trees so the owner set up a special table. Delicious brats and Draft IPA. A memorable day at calaveras Big trees with lunch at camp connell, a short distance from the park.

Very nice place. Cashier was very polite and friendly. The cappuccino was good and hot sandwiches were nice. Has a nice rustic feeling in the store.

Ran out of gas and they were super friendly. They loaned me a gas can and helped me in a pinch.
