Sunset Bay Cafe

Nice place for breakfast or brunch. We wanted to ride bikes for breakfast. This was our first time to dine at sunset. Very accessible by bike and a beautiful ride. When we arrived no waiting in line and the nicest server you can imagine. Pig omelet was great. Others had crab cake (bayside Benedict) and eggs Benedict and the verdict was great.
Nice job guys we enjoyed.

We sat outside and it was a lovely serene setting overlooking the bay. The food was wonderful and service was the best we had in Sandestin. A favorite for us for sure! In fact, we went back on our last day just because our experience had been so good the first time and they did not let us down. 🙌🏻😎

A must do for brunch. Friend had their award winning bloody Mary and said it was perfect, I had strawberry mimosa. I am a very picky coffee drinker and their coffee was actually good! Not Folgers type watered down and not too strong but perfect and flavorful. The banana French toast was so good!- the bananas were like a slight creme brulee crunch on one side and super thin so not mushy or too "banana" flavored and the diced pecans were perfect and good syrup. Get the eggs over medium (perfect!) With bacon- the bacon was also PERFECT - not too overdone and crunchy burnt and not too squishy but actually perfectly crisp but flavorful. The view of the bay and the string lights added to the experience. Will be back!

We loved it so much we came back the next day! The food is sooo good! The service was outstanding! I highly recommend the strawberry cream cheese waffle! The banana brûlée French toast was very good, had a nice fall flavor to it! We come to Florida every year and can’t wait to come back here for! Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, great food with huge portions, and staff were friendly and fun. Went for brunch with my friend and we absolutely loved the strawberry mimosa. We tried chicken and waffles, the fries platter, and cramp cakes. All were delicious.

Trey was our server and he was excellent with two grumpy kids so early in the morning! He was great at stopping by in between tables to make sure we had everything we needed, and even explained about the pool (which wasn't even related to the restaurant)!

We had the beignets which came out hot and covered in sugar 🤤 The strawberry mimosa was good and ended on a strong note. The Hillbilly Eggs Benedict was TO DIE FOR, and so filling I didn't even eat but a bite or two of my potatoes. The kids food can be topped with the same toppings (pancakes, waffles, etc), which was perfect for the small tummy who still wanted the pancakes but not all the extra sides.

The atmosphere was very calm this morning, no one in the pool, but be warned that it is open at all times, so you could very well have to contend with families in the pool while you're eating.

We biked 5 miles to give their crab cakes a try. Upon arrival we were advise they were out for the day. However, Michael was kind enough to provide us with recommendations to the nearest restaurant with crab cakes. Not only did he do that, he allowed us to use his phone to call and confirm. He also did not stop there!!! He then provided us with to-go waters to ensure our trip was hydrated. Even though we did not dine in, the service and heart was worth sharing! Thank you!

My family and I ate breakfast at sunset Bay Cafe twice during our visit. The food was absolutely delicious. French toast, blackberry pancakes, and the Hillbilly Benedict come highly recommended. Our servers Jose and Sanja did an outstanding job. Efficient, polite, and friendly. We’ll be going there again for sure.

We had the Spicy pig omelets and pancakes, they were delicious. Great server , Jose took great care of us. Beautiful bay views.

Strawberry mimosa was fantastic! Everyone in my family thoroughly enjoyed their food. I got the bayside Benedict and it was to die for. Our server Jose was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time we were eating. This is why we always come here when we visit Florida.

This Cafe is a hidden gem. My family and I just happened to stumble into this Cafe while visiting Destin Florida. We were looking for breakfast and this place was close by and had great reviews. I must say that this Cafe has some of the best dishes I have ever tasted in my life. Definitely worth waiting 25mins for a table outside. Do not hesitate to visit this beautiful and delicious Cafe 😋.

Best breakfast in Miramar Beach! The staff were amazing to start. The food was even better! The Tequila Sunrise was excellent. Banana French Toast is a MUST TRY. Ate outside and no bugs at all, I don't know what they are doing but it works! Quick service and friendly staff.

The food was GREAT! We had a nice view of the water for brunch, and our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely visit again.

The food was wonderful. I had the banana French toast. They had awards posted for their Bloody Mary drink but I opted for their mimosas. Went on a Friday morning in January so it was no trouble getting a table and the food came out quick. Will come back again.

We were serviced promptly. Everyone is nice. We were seated by the windows to have a view. We ordered crab cakes as a starter. It had plenty of crabs in it..I am glad I got the Bayside benedict's as an entre so I could enjoy it once more! My boyfriend got the fish tacos. Everything was fresh and came out in reasonable time.

Our waiter Tim crushed it and provided awesome customer service! Everything we ordered was delicious. The seating was spacious and the decor was inviting and provided a great ambiance to accompany their amazing food. Definitely would go back again! 👌👌🔥🔥

Went for breakfast in February so it was very quiet. Great spot next to the pool and bay. Ordered Eggs Benedict and chicken & waffles. Both were delicious. Came out hot and quickly. Really enjoyed our food and time at the cafe. Definitely recommend!

Wasn't very busy, we asked our server if we could set at the outside table by the water. Not only did he work it to where we could set there (in another section) but he happily took our picture for us. Outstanding service, food and setting! Must try if you're in Florida Baytown wharf area!!
