North 2 South Cafe

I ran across a recommendation for North 2 South Café in a Facebook group for Rochester foodies. my best friend and I decided to try it out for breakfast before a day of Christmas shopping. WOW! I am so glad we decided to try this place!

The food was INCREDIBLE! My friend got the scrambled bowl, and I got the breakfast quesadilla. the grit cake was life-changing. And unlike a lot of places, North 2 South does NOT skimp on the bacon (and the bacon is amazing).

Lucy is AMAZING too. Everything about this place is excellent. We can't wait to go back to try more of the menu, especially the dinners!

The food was very yummy and the owner was very friendly and helpful since we are new to the area. Brussel sprouts so yummy!

Been wanting to go for a while now and finally made it. Expectations were high after seeing and hearing others reviews. They did not disappoint!
The shrimp and grits I had were way different than any I’ve had before. Excellent! I can’t wait to go back for breakfast.

It sometimes looks closed from the outside, but the coffee's on, the food is warm, and the staff is ready and happy to help!
The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back.
It's certainly worth a try if you're looking for a homey and tasty meal!

Lucy and Andrew bring that southern cuisine to a small hometown. Their food, kindness and the love they have for cooking is outstanding! Congratulations on your first anniversary! Ps your French toast is amazing!

We have had both dine in and take out multiple times over the past two months. Everything I have tried several different dishes and combinations and all have been outstanding. We also came in for dinner last week and my fried chicken was excellent. The highest taste and quality we have seen in years.

Hands down the best pancakes. This cute cafe has excellent food, friendly staff, and good value.

Amazing food! The shrimp and grits are incredible and something really unique to have in this area, I order them every time I go, even for breakfast (just added the egg!). Would highly recommend!

We ordered the shrimp and grits as well as the breakfast scramble with grits cake. Both exceed our expectations and we're tasty. I particularly liked the grits cake because it was crispy on the outside and wasn't mushy on the inside...to quote Vincent Gambini it was "al dente"

Food was amazing the fries were hand cut. I had the grilled cheese they had on the menu and it was out of this world! The pulled pork was spot on. They have some really good bbq sauce too! Will definitely go again!!!!

This new place is wonderful! Highly recommend the shrimp and grits and the firecracker shrimp. It has that down home atmosphere and great 'southern' hospitality! A must visit place to eat a great meal.

The breakfast is wonderful! Love the grit cake for breakfast and the shrimp and grits are amazing as well!! Service and experience is welcoming and relaxing!

I've never had shrimp and grits before. It was the first thing on their menu and decided to try it. They were delicious! I can't wait to go back and get them again.

I’ve gotten a shrimp po’ boy every Wednesday for the past month and I can’t stop. Do yourselves a favor and check this place out.

We were greeted friendly and had our choice of tables. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious 😋 and served with three choices of sides. Unfortunately the sandwiches were so good we couldn't capitalize on the homemade pies or cakes.

Our 2 year old had a blast here and made a new friend. The food was 👍 great too, very tasty breakfast. Will return to try their lunch menu soon.

Highly recommend the Ruben. The sauerkraut was perfect. Not too watery which is a problem with other local places.
They have definitely gained a couple of regular customers 😁

My family and I have eaten there 2 or 3 time a week. I find everything that I order is the best ever. Every thing is fresh and delicious. The Reuben is to die for.

This place is amazing! Great home feel atmosphere. Alwsys reminds me of home in the south when I visit. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to our every need.
