First time dining experience at The Ironwood Restaurant was terrific! Greeted and seated promptly with our reservation of 4 guests (Thanks to Kathy). Our server (Kara) was professional, efficient and friendly. The cocktails were crisp to perfection (Molly - your great!). Our meals were served hot, beautifully presented and delicious! The managers came table side to inquire of our satisfaction. Nice touch in today's environment. A contemporary pleasing atmosphere welcomes and comforts the entire visit. The Deerfield landscape is eye catching. Most enjoyable Friday Night! Will return again!

My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice of Deerfield Country Club as our wedding venue. Courtney and the team at Deerfield are some of the kindest and most helpful people you could ask for when planning a wedding. We got married on August 11th, 2023, and everything about the wedding was perfect. Their attention to detail was beyond compare, continuously going above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan. They even cleaned all of the windows the morning of!

Courtney was always prepared to answer any questions we had and solved any problems we came across. She was adaptable, and willing to help with everything. On the wedding day we were going around saying hi to all of our guests as dinner was being brought out, and Courtney offered to get us each a plate of food so that we didn't have to. Something small, but really meaningful on the day. We found the price to be extremely fair for the superb quality we felt we received at Deerfield. The food was incredible, we had multiple guests come up and say that this was the best food that they have had at a wedding ever.

We knew that Deerfield was the venue for us the moment we walked in during our first visit. Everything about it gives the atmosphere of romance and celebration. Thank you for giving us such an incredible day to remember forever.

From our first meeting with Courtney to the actual wedding day, it was nothing but perfect. Courtney is amazing at what she does! Deerfield is absolutely beautiful, the decor, the flowers, the scenery, and the bar area. The bride and groom suites were so convenient and perfect to get ready in! Everything is amazing. The food was perfect! I cannot even count how many guests at my wedding were raving over the food! The late night food stations are such a fun idea! We went with the garbage plate one and everyone loved it! We are so happy we chose Deerfield to have our special day!

Alright Deerfield, you guys earned this review. This was my first time here and I'm really impressed.
To start, pulling up to the environment felt very welcoming. It felt like you were far enough from the city without driving an hour.

It ended up costing $70 for my partner and I to golf here, which I must say is extremely cheap for the quality and atheistic's of the building and the course layout. $35 each for one person compared to the other local golf courses is a steal.

The golf course blew the top off my head, with how perfect this course was. The fairways were the size of a runway. There were roughly 3 holes that were difficult. The renovations and improvements done to this course was well deserved.

This is a must try golf course for anyone who has been golfing or just starting out. Please don't pass up the opportunity to play here. I would highly recommend this course to anyone visiting rochester. Well done, Deerfield, you guys earned this one.

The place is beautiful. So proud of what they have done here. The course is one of my favorites. The new restaurant and bar is exceptional. Very classy. Can't wait to come here every weekend with my wife and friends and family. Great job guys and gals!

Went Friday night to check out this new restaurant! Nothing but great reviews! Busy place for sure but very well run we had reservations and we were sat right when we arrived. Quick attention from staff. drinks and food came quick and were so yummy. It was hard to make a decision of what to try so that just means I need to go back again! I had the pork chop and it was seasoned and cooked just right

Choosing Deerfield for our wedding venue was easily the BEST decision we could have made. After our tour on Day 1 we fell in love with the venue and I knew it was perfect. But when my wedding day came, Courtney and her team BLEW our expectations our of the water. Courtney is the sweetest, most organized, and professional wedding venue coordinator. From start to finish she assured me she would take care of us. I don't know many venues that make it a point to provide their couples with regular check ins and quality planning meetings to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of. She answered ALL of my phone calls, texts, and emails quickly, and whenever I was stressed she reminded me not to worry. She made me feel that I could confide in her as not just another business transaction - but a friend!

I am pretty type A when it comes to organization, and I can say with complete confidence that the planning process with Deerfield was seamless. Courtney had my vendors written down and we worked together to lay out a full timeline beforehand. When wedding day came, she coordinated with all vendors, and kept us organized and on that schedule ALL DAY so I could be fully present. I had ZERO stress knowing Courtney was going to executive it, and she crushed it. It hasn't even been a week and I've already received so many compliments from my guests on the venue, layout, decor, staff and food, and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings that they've ever been to. I truly could not recommend a more beautiful, classy, and professional venue!!

Incredible course. Was very impressed with the entire facility. Practice grounds would be completely perfect, if they had grass areas to hit off at the driving range. I know it's a small complaint because you can still get accustomed to the turf interaction chipping around the practice green. However, you can't really hit full shots. Again, this is an incredibly small complaint, however it's the only thing I could think of that could possibly improve their practice area. Bunker you can chip out of, chipping/putting green with plenty of holes. Second chipping putting green with holes without flags. Driving range. The clubhouse is stunning. The course was incredibly well maintained, great tee boxes. The greens were well rolled and cut and had incredible undulations, however I can't give a complete review of the green quality since they had just been aerated. Will be back next season to test those out further. Only played 18 of the 27 available holes. I will definitely be returning, this is an absolute gem of a public course.

Let me start by saying that if you are dreaming of a Holiday Themed wedding, THIS is your place! They have so much decor that you could almost do NOTHING on your own and be fine! It is absolutely gorgeous and nothing compares to their decorative touches in every single corner! Deerfield is literally a dream to work with. Courtney Moriarty is sincerely the most professional person in this business, and on top of that, she honestly cares about you and just wants you to be happy on your special day. She not only accommodated so much for us, she even had many suggestions on how to tie things together and make things easier to maneuver! It was so fun working with her because she was honestly just as excited as we were about our day! Even down to letting us have LIVE REINDEER!
The Bridal Suite was absolutely gorgeous and so much fun to get ready in. It is so spacious and accommodating. The food they serve you while you get ready for the day is amazing. (Especially the cheese, lol)
We received so many compliments on the food, and the drinks were delicious. They even let you create custom cocktails ! The bartenders and servers are the FRIENDLIEST people ! They were all smiles all night! This is so important when you are having a large event.

I honestly can't say enough nice things about it here. I mean, all I literally had to do was walk through the front doors and knew it was my place. You should see it for yourself! 😉

Went to the Ironwood for dinner with family . It has a soft casual classy atmosphere . The staff and servers were very pleasant and attentive . The cocktails and food was fantastic . Great menu selections . All reasonably priced .

I've have done quite a bit of carpentry work for the owners and some at the restaurant . Paul and Claudia are great people with high standards . I expected nothing less than we experienced from them

I got married in September of 2019 and had both the Ceremony and Reception at Deerfield! I can't express to you enough how wonderful the wedding turned out! All of our guest still talk about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the facility is. The bridal suite was stunning and such a perfect space to get ready in as well.
I'm also so thankful for Amanda, our coordinator since she was on top of everything! She is wonderful to work with and made sure everything that day went smoothly. Deerfield did an amazing job with making sure we were happy most importantly! I highly recommend checking out Deerfield for your future wedding or hosting any special event! I wish I could rank them more than 5 Stars since they really deserve it!! They go above and beyond! I'm so happy we went with them for our venue!!

Deerfield went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams! To begin with, the venue is absolutely stunning. The staff works very hard to keep everything clean and tidy. There are tons of beautiful picture opportunities throughout the venue, inside and outside. We received many compliments on the food, it truly was the best we have ever had at a wedding! Courtney and the staff treat you and your family like royalty on the big day. They were sure that we always had a drink in our hand, and that we were able to sit down and enjoy the food during our busy night. They catered to our parents and close family the whole night as well, bringing drinks and food constantly. Courtney was so organized and helpful for the entire planning process. Lastly, I HIGHLY recommend utilizing the bride & groom suite at Deerfield. My girls and I had a blast getting ready the morning of, as did the guys in the groom suite. The suites are beautiful and so spacious! I cannot recommend this venue enough, you truly will have the wedding of your dreams!

Deerfield is a fantastic wedding venue. The team at Deerfield truly care about making your wedding day amazing. The beautiful grounds make it a beautiful place for pictures and the overall aesthetic is a dream.

Fantastic golf on the west side of town. Course is always in great shape. Grounds crew is top notch. Green and pristine even in drought.

Beautiful golf course with great customer service! If you choose to purchase the frequent fairway membership… you will not be disappointed. It is a private club atmosphere with a very low cost. Lots of member tournaments and just a great place to play golf! Also the bar/restaurant is awesome for a beer or food after a round.

Played our first round of golf at Deerfield last weekend, and it won't be our last. The course was beautiful, well-maintained and pleasantly challenging. The clubhouse was similarly well-kept with friendly staff.

We held a wedding at Deerfield in august 2021 and were so pleased and impressed. We had to postpone due to covid and they were very accommodating and flexible. They didn’t change the price or even add charges for food cost increases even though they probably could have. The food was excellent and the entire staff was very service oriented and professional. The facility is a gem with lots of great touches. When we showed up the next day to pick up our things, not only was it neatly stacked and arranged. Even charger plates were cleaned and put back in their boxes and candles were put back in the bubble rap sleeves before being put in the compartments. We can’t say enough about our positive experience at Deerfield with Courtney and the rest of the staff. They truly made the wedding an all around success.

I visited Deerfield as a wedding photographer. This was my first time photographing an event here. This review is based on my experience as a vendor.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, with space to host multiple events at the same time. The outdoor space is just as beautiful with plenty of spots for formal wedding photos. The staff is friendly and helpful and provided meal accommodations for the vendors working the event. The facility overall was clean well maintained.

Thus is one of the better venues I've had the pleasure of working with. I look forward to working with them again.
