New Moon Cafe

I travel often. Up and down the East Coast. The staff here is above and beyond the few who give me such a memorable experiences for my life. Even if they make mistakes with orders they are one of the best restaurant workers I've had plesure interacting with. Thanks team you all do amazing service! Keep at it and never let anything take that great attitude y'all have.

Loved it😁 the atmosphere is awesome. The moment you walk through the door you can feel it and see it. Everyone is happy and working hard. Service is phenomenal. I was actually surprised at how well the food tasted and the effort in presentation. Even down to the patterns in the cream❤ I'll definitely visit when I'm in Augusta

The breakfast was delicious. I had the Augusta style grits and gluten free toast with butter. They even made me a flat white coffee even though it wasn't on the menu. Perfection takes time and the wait was worth it. It also has a comfortable outside dining area.

New Moon Cafe was fantastic. I left breakfast unable to shut up about how much I enjoyed it. Our party ordered about half of the menu and almost everything was a hit.

As far as coffee goes, I am an espresso snob. When I saw signs stating they are different because they, “roast their beans in-house,” I though here we go again. My mouth is about to get blasted with the fruity battery acid after taste like other coffee houses in the immediate area…

The espresso was perfect! Loved every sip of it. Frankly, I’m sad that it took me so long to find this gem of a coffee house.

You have to try the Augusta grits bowl! It’s amazing deliciousness. Always enjoy visiting here for treats and beverages. Sweet smoothies.

Travel a lot for work and try to seek out local businesses, found this after closing (3pm) one day but kept it in my memory. Today arrived before closing and was seeking lunch in the area. Took a couple loops around the block to find them, they are kinda tucked in which is great as the patio isn’t directly on the street.

Food - halfway thru with sandwich and ate a crouton on salad and literally stopped to write this review. I’m not a crouton fan either (lol). Everything is really really good and fresh, even the croutons are freshly baked and seasoned. This place pays attention even to the small details.

Coffee - Glad I ordered a latte, this is how espresso should taste. They sell coffee, next time I’m buying a bag to try!

Update: Every two weeks I’m in Augusta and pick up a bag of fresh beans, they have all been incredible. And the staff is amazing here whether I’m dining or just buying a bag of beans. Thank you for being so consistently benevolent!

Great coffee shop! The person taking orders was very quick and helpful! My Chai and the person who made it were both lovely and my husband said the double chocolate chip muffin was the best muffin he’s ever had!

Cozy, cozy, cozy! Plenty of space upstairs and down for cyber convos. Warm and friendly staff.

Sat outside the cafe but still within the building for brunch and it was very pleasant. My Turkey Melt Sandwich Special with a side of grits was a tasty delight and just the right temperature. It was nicely plated. Next time I will take a photo. The Cafe Mocha was a perfect balance of coffee and chocolate. It is very important for me to have a smoke-free environment and thankfully we had it, even outside. Thank so much for an overall pleasant experience.

I’ve heard of this place, but never even thought of going until this morning when my friend brought me. I am now worshipping her for introducing me.
I walked in and immediately felt like I was an art major living in Seattle and I had no worries except for a dissertation of Nietzsche. Good vibes.
Then, I saw not a single customer or employee that didn’t look like they belonged in a magazine. That’s when I knew this food would slap harder than my dad did.
I got the salmon bagel and a chai tea with soy milk and a chocolate chip muffin, and lemme tell yall.
That salmon bagel had me emotional. Most places put an extreme amount of cream cheese, not New Moon.
The drink? Reminiscent of fall back when I had childish wonder and joy.
The muffin? Had me realizing that life is not that bad as long as something like this exists.
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’d like to see the world with brand new eyes, go to new moon cafe.

I came to Augusta for a comedy show and ate here the next morning. Let me just tell you to drive straight here and try New Moon Cafe out when you visit Augusta! It’s terrific — the coffee (hot and iced), the smoothies (their green monster is wonderful), muffins, and dishes like their jalapeño toast (sheer perfection). Plenty of seating and easy parking on the street, too.

I love eating at New Moon! Their food is so yummy and they also have lots of options for drinks as well. My favorite has to be the green monster smoothie. Some of their pastries also are 👌🏼 Also, please try their potato salad for your side. It's their best side!

My favorite breakfast spot. They can get pretty busy and the wait can sometimes be quite long but it’s worth it. Everyone is friendly and they know me by name and the sound of my voice now and I can tell they try to take good care of me. I have learned to call ahead for my breakfast order and by the time I get there, it’s usually ready for me to pay and pickup. I definitely miss them on days they are closed.

Neat little cafe downtown in the old J B White building. I dropped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It seemed to me they were going for a funky vibe that was cool. I got their Downtown Mess breakfast bowl, Augusta style. It unusual and quite good as well as filling. The weather was nice so I sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. I saw a couple of specials they had that ensured I'd be returning. I mean BBQ Duck Grilled Cheese, how could you not?

We had an awesome breakfast today. The scramble bacon cheese bowl and lumberjack breakfast. Excellent coffee and service. Stop by and enjoy some tasty food and enjoy some local Art.

Wonderful experience, great staff (who are all beautiful, by the way) food and coffee is amazing! Can't recommend ENOUGH! A gem downtown!!!

This cafe is so quaint and adorable. Food was amazing, and the service was super friendly and goody. Definitely a down-to-earth kinda place. 10/10 recommend.
