MESTIZO Restaurant Latin Cuisine & Coffee

I can’t say enough about this place! We had an appetizer platter of arepitas, tequeños and empanadas, then a grilled chicken bowl and finished with a cortadito! Unfortunately, I have to have decaf, but they served it decaffeinated as well! Our waitress Camila was amazing! She was attentive, educated on their menu and went above and beyond to serve us with a pleasant and friendly demeanor! Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon. Next time we’re in town, we will be coming back!!

Great little restaurant right next to Winn Dixie store. Chicken Pepito and Cobb salad were both delicious, and the presentation was wonderful. Fries were so good too! Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. We returned a second time while staying in the area.

I can't say enough good things about this cute little restaurant! We had the Mestizo Breakfast before heading to the beach and it was so good! Well seasoned, very fresh, high-quality, and at a great price. Our server Sophie was very attentive and the music made for a chill vibe outdoors. I'm looking forward to going back to try other dishes.

Best little place on Key Biscayne! A fun family atmosphere! Sophie helped us understand the menu. Our appetizer platter was terrific a little bit of everything. The mixed grill plates were delicious and plentiful the meat cooked to perfection. We topped it off with flan. A perfect evening.❤❤

Most likely the best restaurant I've been to in my life!

I was first was greeted by the cold entrance which I disliked at first, but they had an outdoor setting too which was great, very warm.

I first ordered the mestizo sampler which I had low expectations for since Miami in general had disappointing food, I took a bite and cleared the entire plate within 7 minutes, no complaints about this dish at all.

I then got a parilla mestizo which was absolutely gorgeous, that was the best grilled steak and chicken I've tried in America, the meat was very juicy; although my only complaint is that it needs more meat as I finished it quickly 😂

This is definitely a place to visit, don't waste your money on anything until you try this.

Food was great! Sophie was great and took care of us well. The cachapas and snapper was delicious! Acai bowl was the perfect ending to the meal.

Very good food, fast service. They had gluten free options. The arepas and black beans are gluten free. The chicken bowl was very good. The plantains are gluten free but there is cross-contamination in the fryer, not safe for celiac. Great customer service.

Love this place, I'm down in key biscayne working and stumbled upon this restaraunt and they give unbelievable service, super friendly and the food is incredible. Sofia was a real delight to meet

Very good breakfast! Would recommend the avocado toast with bacon and the croissants. The cafe drinks were very tasty, too. Prompt, friendly service. Our group enjoyed the dining area outside.

Don’t let the location in a strip mall next to Winn-Dixie fool you! The best dinner on a three day key Biscayne vacation by far. We started with the Mestizo Sampler. We highly recommend it. Gives u a taste of what’s in store for the rest of the meal. It was just the two of us, so we got the Picanha steak and it was just enough. It literally melted in our mouth with a burst of flavor that I can’t even explain. The best we have ever had. Make sure you ask for chef Claudio to come say hello. He is so humble he will say not but insisted. He is the sweetest and so passionate to provide unbelievable food to his guests. TOP RATINGS IN ALL OF MIAMI!!! Thank you Chef Claudio and Salvatore for your service! We can’t thank you enough. Hope to see you in Nashville.
