Backcountry Pizza

Great restaurant! Very friendly, attentive, and professional bartender. Orders are placed at the bar. This isn’t fast food, these pies are made to order, and will take a little time. I ordered the meat grinder pizza, and it was brilliant. I can’t recommend this place enough! Full five stars!

There has been some noise about this pizza joint in Ned, so I'm tipping the scale.

I am here just about every day for a beer, a chat with other locals, and sometimes a piece of pie. My personal favorite has artichoke hearts, black olives & feta cheese. With the hire of a new kitchen manager, I am confident any communication or timing issues will be addressed.

Ned needs a place like this, where we can gather for lunch or after a day of work with gorgeous mountain views and breezy, fresh air. The staff work their tails off, have fun personalities, and the regulars are well liked. Don't get me started on the stellar craft beer selection! If you have not visited this iconic location, you're missing out.

Small town happy place. The bar tender (owner?) was attentive and gave me the smile and good service he was or his regulars. He asked me what link of beer I liked and suggested something to try that was similar, “but better.”” He hit it on the nose! The supreme pizza was equally good. The locals at the bar included me in their conversations good meal and nice time!

Small town pizza is best pizza. Meat lovers is always the way to go. Came out fresh from the oven!

I had doubts about getting a ‘za here, but my gosh it was good. Got the supreme 16 inch togo and had a chili garlic dipping sauce on the side. Pick up time was really quick. Good pricing for the quantity of food. The pizza itself was okay, but that chili garlic dipping sauce takes it to the next level. It is quite spicy, but that garlic at the bottom of that dipping sauce is delicious!!!!

It was a very good experience, the pizza was so good, and it was the best pizza I’ve had in the 20 years I’ve been in the US. The one who attended us was very nice and I would recommend this place to everyone.

A required stop anytime I'm traveling through Ned. Always a great tap list and the pizza never misses. Shout out to Aaron in the kitchen for being an all around awesome dude.

Great place to stop, eat, watch some football, and relax in front of the views.
The waiting time for the pizza was a bit long, but you realize why as soon as you get the pizza - one of the best i ever ate. Highly recommended !

Backcountry Pizza has the best pizza in the Peak to Peak area, and one of the best beer tap walls, for its size, anywhere. With fantastic views of Nederland and the mountains.

We were on a bike trip and stayed in Nederland for a week, had pizza at multiple places and this was our favorite! Great friendly staff!

Delicious x-large meat grinder pizza and sampler!

Stopped for lunch on President’s Day. We ordered four slices of pizza and some chicken fingers for two adults and three kids. There weren’t a lot of seats available, but we were made to feel welcome at the bar, even with three kids.

One slice and the chicken fingers came out right away and were great. The curly fries were exceptionally delicious. However the other three slices, including two cheese slices for the kids, took about 45 minutes due to some kind of miscommunication. However, we were reassured several times and apologized to and they covered some drinks for us while we waited.

Even though it took longer than anticipated, everyone left full and happy.

It's got 3 arcades and an outdoor patio, not a lot but sometimes there's a lot of people, I like the workers there they're always really nice. Not a lot to say about this place, good food but not a lot to pick from

Hands down best pizza in all of Colorado. Tri-State area born and raised, I haven't had anything that compares to NY, NJ, and PA pizza until now. Thank the cook, bless his face! We devowered the cheese pie in record time! Yummm!!!

So good! We have been to Nederland many times but didn't know this place was here. We had it today and it was so good! The crust is amazing, we got single slices of pizza and now I wish I had gotten fries too lol. We will definitely be back!

Loved this place since I was 6, went for a slice of pizza every-time I went skiing with my family. Came back years after moving and unsurprisingly it was even better than I remembered. Wonderful menu and godly tasting pizza.

This place was awesome! Their bartender understood beer to the extent that we could chat quick and he gave me a great recommendation. And their pizza... Their pizza! It was hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had!

Great pizza ! Beautiful crust, comes in 20”, 18”, 16” and smaller. Wonderful service, outdoor seating option. Very good pizza.

The food options were limited but the pizza and the beer were good.

Well worth the wait! You may have to wait in line, but there's a reason there's one, fantastic food made to order, great beer selection. Great people. We stopped at the information place and she highly recommended it. Thank you!
