Fourth Coast Cafe..

I can not say enough good things about this place! My father and I stopped here on a whim and the food was so delicious. We order both a bowl of soup, I thought we would get a standard cup and got a bowl of corn chowder that was so flavorful and full to the rim of the bowl. We also ordered two BLT on homemade bread, fresh tomato, and a fresh peice of lettuce! I forgot to add they give you a side of pickles, a bag of chips and if your belly has not be yet satisfied they throw in a cookie! The food comes out so quick. No wait at all.
The wait staff was very polite! I got the pleasure of meeting the mother who was telling us that her son and daughter in law opened it and many family members work there as well. Nothing like a family owned business!!
I also would like to add that the bathroom was so clean! I always say if an establisment has a clean bathroom then they foreshore have a clean kitchen!
I will be surely to reccomend to all of my family and friends! I will definitely be a returning customer!!!

Hands down the best breakfast/lunch place in town. Some of the reviews don't do it justice - the menu seems "the same" as others in the area but the difference is in the details: All the lunch meats (except for the ham) are prepared in-house, then sliced. Soups are made from scratch daily. The generous "cup" of chili comes in a bowl. For a small upcharge you can sub your sandwich bread for a home-baked sliced bread. Sandwiches come with a cookie but Boston cream cupcakes are worth adding on! Breakfast portions are massive. A pancake is the size of the plate and the loaded oatmeal is a shareable portion. The murals and seasonal decor have no parallel in the neighborhood. The service is speedy and cordial.

This was an excellent choice! Good menu options, plenty of seating and good specials. The fireplace was lit and service was speedy.

This COZY little place was exactly what we were looking for for breakfast...delicious freshly ground coffee ☕ and made to order food. My husband ordered 1 pancake, 2 eggs and sausage and I had oatmeal with fresh strawberries. The pancake was so big it almost didn't fit on the plate! (I should've takin a pic) You also had a option of REAL maple syrup! All the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend this cute place....you'll be happy you went! 😊 1 more thing.... the ambiance was PERFECT with hand painted murals and sweet old world decorations from grandma's kitchen. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Food was absolutely amazing, best pancakes I've had out here. Owners mom came over and talked to us and told us all about the restaurant knowing it was our first time there. Everyone was super friendly and service was awesome. Will definitely be making this place my new go to for breakfast & lunch.

The food and service were both excellent. One of my minor concerns was that on 2 out of 3 of my visits there, the volume of the background music was way too high, you could hardly hear each other talking. The restaurant is very clean and so are the washrooms. Another minor concern was that there were only two small client washrooms, which made it a bit of a wait when the restaurant was near maximum seating capacity. Nevertheless, I recommend this restaurant and will go there on my next trip to Massena.

We had breakfast here at the recommendation of my fiance's relatives. As much as I love living in a big city, the local, small-town atmosphere here was pleasant and welcoming - a nice change of pace. All of the breads and baked goods are made fresh daily in-house, and our server was very pleasant and informative. Had a breakfast sandwich and hash browns that came out quickly and tasted amazing. If you're passing through, be sure to stop in.

Always an awesome meal. Took my family there for lunch and it was wonderful. My mother and I had the haddock sandwich special which came with a huge side salad and it was perfect. My son had their Rachel sandwich and my wife a chicken salad which she almost couldn't finish. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has a family feel.

I only wish I would have tried this restaurant sooner...the experience is unique to this area. From the moment I walked through the door I just knew that this would be a rewarding choice...the idea of ordering upon entry and then being seated is a novelty . It streamlines the process and concludes with excellent service...the food is delicious!!! So fresh and made to order. Difficult to pass the bakery display of site made goodies...the atmosphere is comfortable...the murals are thoughtful and lend an ambiance that compliments the dining experience! I recommend this establishment to any discerning diner!

The food was fabulous with oversized portions. The service was excellent. Our waitress had a great personality and was very attentive. It's a welcoming, casual dining establishment where customer satisfaction is clearly their Number 1 Priority.😊

Stopped by this restaurant in Massena as we are traveling and were passing through. I had the Asian salad, my husband had the Cuban sandwich, and my FIL had the Rueben sandwich. All were very good and the salad was huge. This little eatery is a “gem”! Make sure not to miss out!

I eat every day I can. It somehow manages to be both cheap and delicious at the same time. In my mind, it's the perfect lunch spot.

Food is fresh, specials are always spectacular, staff is amazing. I don't know how Massena was lucky enough to get a place like Fourth Coast, but I'm happy we have it.

(I'm not big on desserts, but their pastries look delicious too. Go see some time, you won't be disappointed.)

This place was formally called Common Grounds. Opened with new name and new owners. No fried food available. Have nice sandwiches and soups and homemade salads. Daily specials. Nice homemade desserts. The food is fresh and nice variety. Pleasant atmosphere. The place is open Monday thru Friday 6-3 p.m. Very clean. You can have your food done for takeout.Recently they held an Italian night. There was a good variety of food you could order for this special night. It was fantastic. Since the Italian night was a huge success I guess they are going to try to plan it once a month. So if you see them advertise Italian night check it out. Portions were huge! The desserts are awesome . Good variety of deserts and they are so good. If you don't want to eat in, you can get it to go. You can order it ahead and pick it up. Daily specials, soups etc

This diner was amazing. The service was amazing and friendly and the food was by far the best I’ve had. And they have options for people with allergies

If there is a place you are looking for a new experience, this is the place for you. The Cafe offers a warm, small town feel, in a fast paced world. This family owned and operated restaurant is first in so many categories it's almost too much to list. Fresh baked bread for all their menu items offered. An array of baked desserts that are second to none. Prices so low, that you have to ask twice if it's the correct price. And the portions......fah gedda about it!!! I saw a peice of lasagna the other day that was SOOOO BIG, it looked like something out of a cartoon.
Tabitha and Paul are building are brand here that of not already, will soon be award winning. The way the staff (Tabitha, Cheryl, and Courtney) treat the customers there, gives one hope that humanity still has a chance. I often notice people simply linger around because going to Forth Coast Cafe is less like going out to eat, and closer to going to visit family.
This place earns and deserves each and every one of the 5 stars that its rated. Dont take my word for it, go on down and experience this one of a kind place for yourself. And if your not stuffed to the gills and completely blown away by the 5 star service, simply leave your comment on this review, save your receipt, and this writer will gladly reimburse you for your bill. THATS HOW MUCH I BELIEVE IN THIS PLACE.

A quaint family run diner with delectable roast meats and delicate pastries. The owner was so welcoming and warm. A hidden gem in the north country!

I just love the Fourth Coast! I have been here a few times now and they never disappoint with fast, friendly service and tasty meals. The prices are beyond reasonable. If you haven't tried this place then you really need to check it out!
