Broken Yolk Cafe

I visited this gem recently and fell in love with the specialty French Toast, so I came back to try the omelette. The side dish stole the show. The biscuit is like soft cloud and the best I have tasted. I will continue to explore the menu because so far all are tasty 😋

Good was delicious & the mimosas were even better! Shug was our server and she was great and so sweet. Definitely coming back.

I hadn't eaten here since it use to be a pizza place. I've been to others so we chose this one. I was amazingly surprised with both the service and the food. It was extremely busy yet nothing felt rushed. The food came out and it looked and tasted amazing.

Amazing food amazing drinks my absolute favorite breakfast. I love Juan and Berlin and William everyone is super sweet.

If you're in the area and searching for breakfast or lunch this is the place. Any time of the day, the entire menu is available. We were thoroughly entertained and looked after by the amazing Jasmine!!! Food was hot (really hot), and boy are we stuffed!!

Breakfast was Machaca and Chilaquiles bowl. We found both to be delicious. Service was quick and atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside is they don’t serve Coke Zero. I will definitely be back.

It's rare I give 5 stars, but my visit to this Broken Yolk deserved it. My Rancher omelette was tasty and the biscuit with gravy was good and hot. I suggest adding cheese to the Rancher omelette as I did. My wife's triple play also pleased her sweet tooth. Our waitress was spot on making sure coffee was always hot and fresh. We were very happy with the entire experience.

Very nice for breakfast and lunch. Good food at reasonable prices. Service is good, and I had my coffee filled without me asking for a refill.

I have been here, in November of 2023. I came here to eat my lunch, during my lunch break. The staff, when I arrived, were helpful and attentive. Of course, during my visit, the place was packed, and I had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. Still, the place was neat. At the same time, the meals were delicious. Of course, it was on the expensive side. Nevertheless, I did not regret spending my cash in this establishment. Definitely, if anyone is in La Verne area, I would recommend a visit to this restaurant. I will visit this restaurant, only when I have discretionary funds.

The atmosphere is lively and joyous here. A little bit loud but good vibes. Food was good and our waitress was super fun and nice.

The French toast sampler was amazing! Service was rad. Hostess was happy and friendly. Server was a y’all black dude with dreads and he was rad too! Food and drinks came out in a timely fashion even though the restaurant was packed. I will be coming back soon! Let me also say we drove 20 min to get here too. We live in Chino Hills but heard such good things and my daughter had eaten here before so I was game to test it out. I’m so glad we did! 👍🏻🙌🏻

You have to come here! Everything was so delicious and the people here are so welcoming! My server Berlin was so sweet, helpful and amazing! She was on top of everything and I really felt cared for lol!

Quality.
I had an American breakfast during the morning special. Portions is very large and filling. Food was piping hot and very well prepared. I am very impressed with the server as I was able to overhear her ask the cooks to redo my home fries even before it left the kitchen. A shining example of service bringing quality to the customer and upholding the restaurants name.A great reminder why we thank our servers with tip.

Also tried my Dad's rancher omelette. Once again presentation and quality are exceptional. Portion size is large.

Very clean establishment!
Several TV's on playing sports so you don't have to miss a beat.

Highly recommend coming here to anyone. Be sure to get a rewards card as well

Great customer service... Have seen the one in Glendora but never stopped. The one in La Verne has friendly staff and delicious food. The portions are comparable to what you pay. Will definitely return for another visit.

This place surprised me !! The food was amazing , tasty , fresh , authentic it was really worth it , we’ve been back several times !! I highly recommend the chilaquiles bowl with carne asada !! It reminds me of a Mexican restaurant the food is so good , all their breakfast is really good 5+ stars we will be going back every chance we get !

We had breakfast for the first time on Xmas day at this establishment. Outstanding service by Cecee (hope I spelled it correctly). This waitress was very professional and attentive. New Years eve we had breakfast there again but unfortunately Cecee wasn't our waitress 🥺
Cecee made sure to come over to our table to say hello and asked if we needed anything. I wish she could be our waitress ALL THE TIME. Very respectful and caring. OUTSTANDING customer service . May the Father continue to bless Cecee ABUNDANTLY 🙏🙏🙏
