Enjoyed our visit to the Wooden Spoon Eatery. There are many choices for breakfast in the area, this place stands out for quality food. I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Chicken fried steak and eggs. Both were awesome. Mike provided excellent service. The manager also took time to Greet us on the way in and during our meal.

We had a nice experience this morning at the Wooden Spoon Eatery. It was our first time there. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was welcoming and we received kind and friendly service from the staff.

This is our first time at Wooden Spoon and it was amazing! We all got variants of a gyro and the food came fast, the service was friendly, and the food was great at a reasonable price. Our server Amber was incredible. Super friendly and attentive! We will certainly be coming back in the future!

Love this place! Freshly made food with decent prices and friendly service..greet you when you come in and leave..owner/?chef/?manager? walks around and asks how the meal was. Like a real New York style Diner, plus a variety of styles from Southern to Greek style foods, all in Surfside Beach.

Supporting local matters when I traveled and this place was a hidden gem. Great food, service, and bonus outside seating. They had a fan on the outside tables, which was a nice touch. Our waiter, Mike, was so friendly.
It is worth stopping, I promise. Enjoy 😉

Me and my wife went there for lunch. My wife got the Mushroom Swiss burger with fries and I got the Western omelette with grits and English muffin. All the food was great and so was the service. I'd recommend anyone here to give it a try. Just a heads up their hours are 8-2:30.

It is one of the best places I visited on my vacation, the service was great, the food was very tasty and the place was very clean, I really recommend it.

Had a wonderful breakfast with family. Smaller restaurant that probably couldn’t handle a large group without being broken up. We had 8 and needed to be split into two. They had outdoor seating as well as indoor. Our waitress was so polite and attentive.
Everyone really enjoyed their meals and we all had something different. Only comment was the shrimp and grits had too much bacon which over powered the other flavors. Food was fresh and quality ingredients. They have daily specials. Iced coffee was tasty.

Cute clean friendly atmosphere. Off the main highway we just stumbled upon it. Looking for a nice family place instead of the chains. This is it. Breakfast and lunch.. the food was great and the service was even better! Check them out. Inside and cafe outside dining!

Sat outside and it was lovely. They have fan looking gadgets that keep the flies away. We order breakfast, french toast, omelette, home fries and eggs were delicious. Waitresses were very kind and attentive 10/10

First time visiting this place. I remember the building back when it was the Village Cafe many years ago. They have redecorated it nicely. They had many options to choose from and also daily specials. I had the gyro plate because I hadn't had this dish in a while and it was great and filling. I also had a slice of cheesecake. The staff was very friendly.

Such a cute restaurant and always good food! The area is nice to walk around if there’s a wait. I’ve gone for breakfast and lunch and both were good! The prices are reasonable and you can tell the food is fresh. They have gluten free bread which makes it even better!

Don't overlook this diner. It's located right before the highway, and parking can sometimes be a bit challenging - or maybe it was for us because we're from out of town and just didn't know where to park. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Our food was delicious and we will return the next time we are visiting the area.

Breakfast was delicious! Great biscuits, great pancakes, and awesome service! Very accommodating of our need to bring our pup with us to sit outside. They brought him a little bowl of water, and cut up some chicken for him! He enjoyed it as well!

Visited with family recently over the weekend. Friendly faces, great customer service and wonderful music (smooth jazz). Made for a memorable and wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend. Food was great!!

The Wooden Spoon is our go to breakfast place when we come to the beach! The food and service is outstanding! Amber is our favorite waitress and is very attentive to detail.

Absolutely fantastic. Their gyros and mimosas are phenomenal.

Very nice server, very pleasant staff. Came here late 7:00pm server very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Quick service, salads were very good, had pork tenderloin, gyro platter and salmon.

Very wide variety on the menu. Everything I saw looked great. The prices for breakfast are good. The food here is just amazing. They really know how to cook right. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. It is very roomy and visually pleasing so you don’t feel cramped. Recommend this restaurant for wanting a sit down breakfast.
