Hamburger Joe's of Surfside

The name is Hamburger Joe's, but I came in because the marque said "Best Wings on the Beach."
After eating here, I think they're right.
The wings were fried perfectly so the meat was tender and juicy but the outside was crispy. And you could tell they change their oil often enough.
The medium Buffalo sauce was mild if you're from Upstate New York, but that's a minor critique.
The fries were crispy and made from real tomatoes.
I'll be back to try the burger, which looked very good as well.

My wife and I came in yesterday afternoon with our family. We had Teresa as our server she recommended the gold wings. I'm so glad she did. They were amazing, but her service was even better. She was very sweet, very patient, and explained the menu to us very well. She went above and beyond the duties of a waitress. We will definitely be back just for her!!!!

We love this place. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. It's a small restaurant, but if you don't mind waiting a bit you won't be disappointed.

We love this place. The food is simple but tasty, service is always top notch, it's very clean, nice bathrooms, kid friendly. Fun atmosphere, very casual and welcoming. As locals, we visit often. The wings with the gold sauce is my favorite! This location does accept credit cards as well as cash.

I make sure to stop here every time my family visits Myrtle beach!!!! The wings are amazing and the burgers are good too!!!!

My fiancee is from the area and she has been going on and on about this place for years. So, this year on our family vacation to the area I decided to give it a try. And OMG WAS IT AMAZING!!!!!! Seriously the best burger I've ever had on the beach. Most definitely the best smash burger I've ever eaten. The service was good other than the server was a little bit inattentive to our table. Other than that they had a great atmosphere and fast service. All together we was there maybe an hour and a half including our wait time. Hands down the best restaurant experience we had this week on our vacation.

Stopped in for lunch the waitress was really awesome, explained the menu and cocktail selection. Highly recommend for quick American style food. Found Joe's hints on the menu extremely funny!

This is a must go place for burgers and also their cheese sticks are just right not greasy very gooey and trust me you will leave here full

Great food, good service. The young lady got our drink orders a little wrong but corrected immediately once we let her know. Fascinating deco, ambience similar to small town bar but not super loud. Would go back! The burgers were delicious!

The hit wings were really tasty! Not to hot but it did sneak up on you. They were also very crispy! My son had the double cheeseburger with chili and onions and it was amazing! Prices are very reasonable too.

Great local burger joint. The patties are super thin so I recommend getting doubles. The fries were good too. It’s not a good place for a drink since the cocktail we got wasn’t great but the food was delicious.

This is a really exceptional family owned hamburger place. We always skipped it because I thought it was some kind of a chain, but I’m so glad we eventually tried it out. Absolutely extra delicious burgers, good prices and a very chill atmosphere. I usually don’t get fries, but the ones here are exceptionally delicious!

This was the third trip for us to Hamburger Joes over our past 3 vacations. The menu is limited but it is exactly what we knew and expected. The bugers were VERY good and the wings were excellent. This was a great, lower cost option for our family to take a break from some of the higher priced restaraunts this week. Recommended to anyone who likes a good burger or wings...

Had a GREAT family dinner last night here. Mary-Ann was our waitress and was THE BEST. She’s such a hoot. We will be coming back just for her.

Believe it or not but I pulled a double today. Joes for lunch in north Myrtle then dinner at joes at the Murrells Inlet location. Since I had a driver I enjoyed several cold beverages with their delicious chicken wings. They were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server Mary Ann did an excellent job and was friendly and very respectful. Thanks MA. I got to get back to try the onion rings. They look delicious. I scored the atmosphere low due to a family situation at the table next to us were two kids made all other customers experience miserable. Come on mom and dad please help make everyone’s dinner enjoyable. I do believe though the server should have handled it better.

We came in for a quick bite as we just got into town. Cici was our waitress and she was wonderful. Very quick and friendly. We had wings(medium flavor) and they were tasty along with the burgers.

First time visiting Hamburger Joe's of Surfside...Hands-down best burger I've tried in Myrtle Beach! It's a great little family-owned burger joint with plenty of character and friendly service. Even had ice cold PBR cans for $1.10! Will definitely be back again!

This is a great local place for burgers, hot dogs and wings! The food is always good and great service!

One of the best smash burgers we have had in awhile. The onion rings were excellent they were batter dipped which I think is the best way to have. Nice clean restaurant and fast service. Staff was friendly and attentive to customers needs.
