Walgreens Pharmacy

This is the pharmacy I use weekly. I’ve used a lot of pharmacy for the past 25 years and let’s just say not all are friendly, or respectful and it’s very upsetting!! This is a pharmacy I can respect. Just started coming 5 months ago but so far so good!!!

I needed my scripts transferred from another city and they were super nice and helpful. Had enduring ready when I needed it.

Wait times can be insane but never any true issues.

I had my prescription filled here for the first time and it was partially filled without my knowledge. When I got home and opened my bottle there were 11 pills inside the container which seemed a bit odd as the prescription was written for 15 pills and the bottle label also specified they were a quantity of 15. I recommend verifying quantity before leaving the window.

My family and I were here today and at the register waiting on the cashier. We had been waiting there for about 5 minutes. The lady behind us said I told someone. My husband and I 3 year year old daughter asked us "What's taking so long?" About that time the cashier walks up and tells her very hatefully "Because I'm the only one!!" Our daughter put her head in my stomach. When we got out into the parking lot she said that lady scared me. I don't want to come here again. The whole reason we went there is our daughter she had a medical procedure and was brave and we got her a toy. I have NEVER had a cashier so hateful. That behavior is not acceptable. Her name is Carol.

The pharmacy suck the new Supervisor that is there she does not know how to count the days of the month correctly if a doctor gives you a prescription for 30 days in their 31 days in a month in your prescriptions do on a certain day therefore you should be able to pick it up not when they want to give it to you

THEY WON'T TAKE MY INSURANCE OVER THE PHONE. I normally use CVS but they don't have my medication in stock. So, I chose to use Walgreens simply because they have the medication. When calling to see how much with my insurance, I was passed around to several people who all told me they don't take insurance over the phone. "Company policy" Excuse me??? How am I supposed to know if I can afford this prior to actually going to pick it up? I am beyond livid.
