If you're considering going to Oahu (or the mainland) for surgery, I urge you to see Dr. Taleghani first. Before Dr. Taleghani arrived on island, I had to go to Oahu for surgery and it is incredibly stressful... not to mention the added difficulty in getting follow up care. Dr. Taleghani is superb and he's right here on Maui! I appreciate his knowledge and experience greatly, but I cannot stress the importance of his communication and feedback. I always knew all of the pros/cons of my procedure and potential outcome. He was incredibly reassuring, while also being realistic about what success would look like for me. As I'm going to have continuing issues, it eases my mind that I have such excellent care on Maui!

Dr.talenhgnai and his staff at Maui Brain & spine are a great! I felt comfortable with my care through my very first consultation with the Doctor and he was forthright in explaining my situation to me in great detail with an excellent understanding and patience. During my surgical procedure was scheduled and I was always in the loop on my medical care thanks to the staff at the office. My surgical procedure was a much improved experience in my overall health, and well being ,I am so very Thankful that we have such a knowledgable and dedicated down to earth surgeon here on Maui who actually fixes spinal problems instead of creating new ones.

Aloha My name is Jesse, I am a patient of Dr. Joel E. Ulloth. I was diagnosed with a Schwannoma tumor in my spinal column that was compressing against my spinal cord. I was very uncomfortable and nervous with removing a tumor that was literally touching my spinal cord. Dr. Ulloth gave me confidence and was very professional, polite, & explained my situation very thoroughly to where I could understand what I was going through and the consequences I could face if I hadn't found and removed that tumor in my spinal cord area. The tumor was symptomatic and causing severe pain in my abdominal areas and made it nearly impossible to continue living a normal lifestyle He gave me the confidence and relief knowing that I was in the right hands and that he would take extreme care of removing that benign mass out of my spine! Today I feel 100% better all thanks to Dr. Ulloth. I would recommend him to anyone for professional advice and care. Dr Uloff did surgery on my 25 year old Daughter who had a severe herniation. He was amazing and informative throughout and she is finally out of pain after having a full laminectomy. Highly recommended.

Dr. Telaghani is an amazing neurosurgeon. I’ve suffered with lower back pain and left side sciatica for years. I went to 1 visit at his office , he checked out my previous MRIs and diagnosed me with SI joint issues. It took a while for me to get my surgery because of Covid. But I’m here to tell you my sciatica is completely gone!!! We are so fortunate here on Maui to have such a talented surgeon to serve all of us! Thank you so much Dr. Telaghani

Dr. Christopher Taleghani Is an excellent surgeon very nice man I felt better the next morning I woke up and I’m doing great three weeks out from surgery I didn’t even need to take pain pills I recommend him absolutely if you have any issue that it took me 20 years to make this decision of course living on MAUI but 40 years you know that the neurosurgeons are not around very much so we’re blessed to have a customer here on the island I’m starting my physical therapy next week.

And the OFFICE crew are a pretty awesome people so don’t hesitate if you’re suffering you can trust this man and it took me a lot of years to be able to trust somebody but he’s just got it so thank you Dr. Christopher Talabani for your excellence and for my life that I have back...Many Mahalo’z and A’ Hoi Hou

Total TRASH. Kept me waiting with no updates for months while I was in severe pain. Never returned calls or emails.

Super unprofessional and uncompassionate. That extends to teleghani himself. Anyone who lets their staff forget to return phone calls for weeks on end isnt very doctorly.

Especially after seeing what a real neurosurgeons office is like where i moved. Scheduled for suegery right away ans everyone in the office is professional trained and proud of their work.whereas maui brain and spines #1 concern is how they are getting paid and applying minimal effort in doing so.

I cant believe i almost let these fools cut my back open. They Shouldn't be trusted with a can opener. Much less spinal surgery.
