Rainbow Attic

We went in on a whim after groceries @ food land and was greeted by this beautiful young lady behind the counter. My wife found a hello kitty bag, mug and some shirts. The men’s section is small, but still have a decent selection of shirts, board shorts and pants. We scored on some rando shirts outside, it’s $5 fill a bag! Fun thrift store with decent prices and friendly customer service. As far as the other negative reviews, keep in mind that it’s a thrift store, not Nordstrom’s 🤙🏾

Got a few Maui T-shirts, a Victoria’s Secret “swim skirt”, a dressy top and more for reasonable prices. I saw a lot of Tommy Bahamas shirts, so I may have to return and buy a few! Fun looking around. All types of treasures.

This is absolutely my favorite place in the entire world to shop. I love the owner and staff. I think they do an amazing job, especially considering the incredible volume of objects and customers they deal with every day. Whenever I am blessed with a trip to Maui, this is the first place I go.

Pretty good variety here, always something interesting to look at. Prices are reasonable for a more upscale resale shop, I wouldn’t say super bargains but if you want quality at fair price this is a great stop! Been stopping by for many years when I’m here for family or work trips

I have found so many treasures here! Watermellon bowls, size 11 womans runners, dresses, bags ... You name it. Love this place! Staff is always nice and personable and a great variety of things!

My daughter and I love thrifting, so we checked this place out before we head back to Canada in a few days. We found some great items, which make much more unique souvenirs than a lot of the other stuff that you see in big chain stores. A cute little shop with fair pricing, friendly staff, and lots of character.

There are deals to be found and 50% off colored tags depending on the day. They actually have a wide variety of categories and it all feels curated, but not as many men's clothes as I would have liked. I found a piece of bark cloth fabric and an old camera lens for a very good price.

Very friendly, found a few items for a fair thrift shop price. Other items were the price of new items at the stores. It I scored a pice of luggage for $18 to bring no home clothes and art I purchased on the island! It just depends on what you’re looking for. I’ll stop in again next trip!

There aren't many options for thrift stores on Maui but I still stop by here every once in a while to see if I can find something. It definitely has a different clientele, but you can still find some decent things in there. Some of their prices are a little high for what they are, but the great thing is if you don't like the price, don't buy it, simple as that. No one is forcing you to spend your money. I've been able to get a few Reyn Spooner aloha shirts for under $20.

I love this cosigment store❤It is the Best I have ever been to. When I am in Maui have to go by almost daily. Have found so many lovely things to furnish our condo with. Great people that work there. Great prices. Mahalo

Amazing consignment shop with endless treasures!

I called them today, talked to a very nice person on the other end. I was looking to sell a rolling laptop case by US Luggage that I've had for a few years. The consignment office is closed today and would be open tomorrow. If we were not busy tomorrow I would go there, but since we are, I will just donate it to the Salvation Army. That all being said, she was extremely helpful in her suggestions and it's a place we will go to. To the person who said they were over priced: This is Maui and things do cost more here. You are obviously not from here (and neither are we) and the cost of living and doing business here is a lot greater than the Mainland. I read all your reviews and you only had one good thing to say about a restaurant you went to and then complained the service was too slow. If all your reviews are negative and nasty, people catch on quickly and then quickly dismiss your comments. Your comments were not constructive or well thought out, just plain nasty. If you don't like something or a service provided, you would be more credible if you explained what it was you were not satisfied with the goods or service.

I loved this thrift store! They had a great selection and nice things without being too fancy/expensive, like some nicer thrift stores can get. Very nice people, also.

A really nice mix and selection of secondhand, low & high end, plus unusual items! I also enjoy the level of service there, friendly but not over doing it! The owner is also very sweet!

I like to check out Rainbow Attic once a week to see what’s new and there always is! Never know what you’ll find so look at everything. They’ve got accessories, art and knick knacks too! Would probably not bother coming here for men’s clothing but they do have some!

There is a nice sized sale rack in the back and they also have some bins outside where you can dig and find stuff for cheap — $1 an item. It’s fun!

So easy to consign, very clean and trendy. I ship consignments over there and get a check in the mail, it's been a great experience! I love to check out the dollar bin every time I visit Maui :) A must stop!

This place ROCKs ! It has been around for 30 something years . They must be doing something right . I visit every time we are in town . We just picked up a couple of boogie board, and cool Aloha shirts . I have always found the staff to be really nice . They are always busy helping customers so sometimes you just gotta wait your turn.

Great place to shop! Bought a nearly new swimsuit top for $8 and a shirt for $7 - great given the quality of the clothing and they would have been five times the cost somewhere else on the island.

Had some great deals and quality clothing and souvenirs if you search. Bought a coach leather bag for $25, vintage plates $5, speedo swim suit $10, Banana Republic dress $12, and friend bought a few souvenirs Tiki cups and Maui shirts for a few dollars. Way more affordable. We were going the international market in Kehei but found it too trinkety, touristy and expensive. Great place if you enjoy "thrifting" and you can find some nice things to take home in memory of Hawaii. Lady is lovely and does not rush you.

the worker and owner of the place was so sweet I’m around 16 years old and in my town none of the thrift stores have such cute and affordable clothes when going with my mom and friend we all found stuff that fit our style the store was so neat and convenient to shop in

A Kihei landmark, carries good / unusual housewares, good quality clean(!) clothing, and the occasional high-end designer pieces. Things move quickly, always something new to see every trip.
