Academy Sports + Outdoors

Went into Academy Sports to find a nice pair of Sketches for female. I wear a Women's 12. They actually didn't have what I was looking for so I bought Men's size 10 Sketches Related Fit. They are very comfortable and has Memory Foam. I got them in Blue which will go good with alot of all my work out clothing. I was really looking for some colors like Pinks, and Purples and just girly colors in general, but I love these just the same. The cost was $69.99.
I also purchased some "No Show" socks 6 pair for $7.99. I really love those colors as well 😍 I would definitely recommend visiting this store and by the way the staff was very helpful and friendly 😊 Has really great deals today 😀

The store manager at your cherry lane location is awesome. Kind, fair and yet firm. I had an issue that needed management approval and I was treated with courtesy and respect. And although it didn’t work out in my favor it was policy and it was fair.

We visit this location often. This time I lost my car keys, I ran into a girl who works for academy and she immediately offered to help, she went above and beyond to try and make sure we found them so that we could get home as we had our 2 babies and our 5 year old son with us. She went as far as to walk around the store for us looking for the keys after a manager said they weren’t able to roll back tapes. We eventually found them but in the frazzle of things we didn’t catch her name. I wish I had because academy could use 100 more girls like her. Thank you again sweet soul.

We went there today because the store Academy on arbrook in Arlington had some real pigs working there. They would not even help us with the return. They told us they don't do returns without a receipt. Even though we told them it was on our card. They refused to help us, so we stopped at Academy in white settlement and a nice young man by the name of BRAVOL. Help ed us and we was done with us in several minutes. And was just really a wonderful wonderful employee. And we want to thank you for the shopping there was a great experience. We will not go back to the one on
arbrook in Arlington. Management needs to pull the tape and look at how they did things today there.But a Big Thank you to BRAVOL FOR BEING SO KIND.

This Academy doesn't carry merchandise for the professional teams in Dallas/Ft Worth. I don't plan on returning.

My one stop for all sporting goods! This is my favorite place.

The fishing section is amazing! Tons of lures and most important I was asked once of I needed help then left to my own devices. Staff was polite, place was organized and just a good experience.

Clean store, nice and helpful employees. Cashiers are quick to guide you to their registers to get you checked out. Plenty of stock on the shelves in every department I gave shopped. If you have trouble finding something, there's always someone that will gladly help you find what you're looking for. There always seems to be plenty of parking.

Shoes and a pocket knife were on the list today. Got them both for under $50

June 2022 -

Got ShabuShabu a new grill. Seemed like a good idea to check here before settling for the one at Walmart. So glad we did! It was $30 more, but with twice the grilling surface & a cast iron grate. Bet we get a lot more mileage out of it. Look up Boots Theory. It'll probably change the way you shop forever.
