Oao Sushi Go

Oao is my new favorite spot on island! I have already been a couple of times since they opened up in Wailea and could not be more satisfied! Service has been absolutely amazing, Zach gave us top tier service on our first visit and suggested we return to try Chefs Special. Last night we did that, the range in flavor and textures elevated OAO to one of my top dining experiences anywhere! From the Bluefin, to miso marinated Butterfish, to the Wagyu each course was an entirely new experience that seemed to just get better and better! I highly recommend OAO and guarantee I'll be back again and again! Thanks for a great experience Chef!

The sushi and rolls are made to order. They are super fresh and great quality. Very friendly service and everything goes quickly. The food can either be consumed on site in the food truck area or taken away as a take-out. Very good value for money.

Just stopped here after work for the second day in a row, ordered the Crispy Dragon Roll and asked for a recommendation for a second, which ended up being a Tiger Roll. The Crispy Dragon is still my favorite but the Tiger is a close second. Great sushi and lots of options. Watch out Miso Phat, I thought your TNT roll was the best special roll around, but it seems you have competition and they're pretty close 😜

My husband (who is Japanese) grew up with homemade sushi. He is traditionally disappointed in sushi when we go out, however he loved this place and was very enthusiastic throughout the meal. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Very flavorful with fresh ingredients. Don't forget to BYOB!

Very good sushi and the service was excellent. Very small so you may wait. But it will be worth it. Happy Hour from 3-5 for a discount.

Wow! Oao certainly lives up to its name! I was just gifted their Firecracker roll (mahalo Christian! So very kind of you) and it was AMAZING! Highly, highly recommend. It was so fresh and had such great flavors! I will definitely be back :)

Big sushi lovers from Colorado here. GREAT service, extremely fresh, unique rolls. Would recommend to anyone visiting Maui. Favorite roll was the Godzilla or the Black Mamba.

Love the Philadelphia rolls! I would eat these every night for dinner if I had the option. Love the outdoor seating area where you can just take in the atmosphere.
Can't wait to come back again on our next visit to Maui.

I’ve been to Oao sushi a couple of times and every time I’ve gone I have an awesome experience. The staff is kind Courteous and knowledgeable. If I have any questions they are always more then happy to help. Don’t even get me started on the excellent Quality of the fish. All in all a great place to dine.

Amazing sushi! There are so many flavours in one roll, it’s the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. All the food trucks in the area are amazing. Worth checking out!

Great sushi, very fresh and made to order! Ordered the spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and seared salmon aburi. All super tasty and friendly service, highly recommend.

Fabulous sushi on an island know for sushi! The menu is creative and diverse with all the usual offerings and then some newer fusion choices. The fish quality was perfect and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is causal; beautifully decorated in warm wood. The service is warm and friendly. Everything we ordered was exceptional and we tried a lot of different things. Definitely one of the top restaurants on Maui.

Got off the plane, dropped stuff at our condo, and headed here for lunch. The firecracker roll was amazing. I’ll definitely be back soon!

So far the best poke I’ve had on the island. No freezers so they buy their fish fresh from local fisherman every morning which is why it probably taste so dang good.

On Maui for vacation and one of the first spots we go to eat are the food trucks on Piikea Avenue. I was craving sushi and the Haleakala Roll special today was just what I needed! Melt in your mouth fresh fish. My new favorite place.

Love this place. Takes a little while so you shouldn't be in a rush, but it's totally worth it. They have delicious food and a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. You've got to try it! It can get pretty hot in the outdoor seating area, so you should plan to go at a time of day that isn't so hot or get it to go.

We had the spicy poke bowl and it was delicious. A little in the spendy side, but it’s worth it. The rice was perfect and the tuna was very fresh. I had it three times in less than a week. 🤙🏽

One of our favorite places in Kihei. Sushi are always fresh and tasty.
