Great dinner spot! Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food! Highly recommend the poke nachos appetizers and the trout blt with fried green tomatoes. Service is fast and pleasant.

We enjoyed our happy hour experience on the patio here! Decent selection of wine and the Poke Nachos can’t be beat! Service was excellent too. I rated the atmosphere one less star only because the plastic weather sheeting was down around the perimeter of the patio during our visit on a nice sunny day- would have loved to feel the fresh mountain air!

The Mason double stack was very juicy and flavorful. The Jamaican jerk chicken wings were large and good! The staff was friendly. My server was kind enough to give a few recommendations and answered question I had about the menu. Highly recommended!

The fries were bland, needs a little seasoning.

Boy were we supposed! We were just riding and found 5 star food, service, and atmosphere!? Also this little downtown area of this small town was perfect! We felt very at home. I love exploring and finding a diamond!

Absolutely the best food I've had at a restaurant in I don't know when. Everything we had had such a unique flavor. My wife had the tomato pesto flat bread, and I had the Greek tacos. The atmosphere was really nice and the wait staff were on point. If I could do more than five stars, I would. You should definitely make plans to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

We arrived here on a very foggy day after a long Drive on Blue Ridge Pkw the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. This was truly a Gem of a location to grab some tasty local food. The portions were very good in size. We had the Chicken Alfredo and Cuban sandwich.
The Chicken Alfredo was spot on, Chicken tasted very fresh and flavorful, the pasta was well cooked and seasoned.
The Cuban Sandwich was also very tasty, the pork was very flavorful with a nice portion of fresh cooked fries.

Delicious southern food done right! The sweet corn and poblano puppies were perfect, and my Cuban sandwich was sooo good. Don’t sleep on the Greek tacos either - may be the sneaky best thing on the menu! Patio was really nice and the service was great as well. Will be back!

We went for lunch on a winter weekend- no wait! The warm enclosed patio was so nice and watching the trains while we ate was entertaining. Great food, good service, yummy drinks!

Excellent new restaurant in downtown Spruce Pine. The staff are great, the food is excellent American fare with 🍔 burgers, 🍟 fries, 🥪 sandwiches, 🥗salads, 🐠 fish, and more with a full bar to boot with excellent 🥃 cocktails and 🍻 beers. They also have ♿ handicap accessible 🅿 parking, seating, and 🚻 restrooms.

I’m in town doing a collaboration with Springmaid Mtn Retreat as an Instagram content creator (@northcarolina.nicole) I wanted to grab a local bite to eat. Stopped by after seeing a photo of the Trout BLT. And it did not disappoint! Great food all around!

From the moment we walked up to the host stand, the staff was AMAZING!! Everyone was very friendly and took very good care of our group. Constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our server Desta, was absolutely AMAZING!! The food was great, beer was ice cold, 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! It is also family and dog friendly!! They even poured a bowl of ice water for the doggie!! Amazing people and food!! The owner even came out and thanked us for stopping in!! The employees also talked about how the owners take care of the employees!!

Visiting from Florida we had an amazing dinner at The Live Oak Gastro Pub. The atmosphere was friendly and the servers were kind. Everyone enjoyed their meal the food was excellent from beginning and ending with yumlicious deserts.

Drinks were made well, food was great, atmosphere is good. Best Bloody Mary around this area. Had jerk chicken Alfredo and it was fantastic. My wife had the trout BLT with fried green tomatoes. Also amazing. Definitely one of the better places to get for in spruce pine.

Highly recommend! Staff was friendly and attentive. Very creative menu. My mother and I enjoyed the soup de jour (beef and barley), the special flatbread (chicken and sundried tomato), the Greek tacos and chocolate pecan pie. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting! The tacos blew my mind they were that good including the pickles! Can’t wait to eat here again!

Three of us stopped for lunch today and this place exceeded all expectations! So delicious and delightful. We had Three different dishes (trout blt, lamb tacos, and a cauliflower crust flatbread pizza) and all were so delicious!!! We sat on the porch, which was very pleasant. Inside is super cute also. Very reasonably priced wine options. The service was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

A beautiful, peaceful patio with a wonderful waitress, fantastic owners, and fabulous food!! We LOVE it! Will definitely be back! The Mason burger was the best ice ever had!

I very seldom write reviews but the service and food were outstanding. Sat at the bar. Sharon the bartender was working harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. And all with a smile. The food was great Had the trout BLT and fries. Very gourmet

We have been very pleased with our food & service each time we have been here. I would suggest a better description of menu items though. There were 10 of us & we had a difficult time deciding on what to order because the descriptions are unclear. Three of us wanted to order the seared salmon but only one decided to order it. He would have never ordered that if he had known the salmon was served IN a Miso soup or maybe it was a stew. The description said Miso but left out that it was served in a soup or stew. I ordered the Cobb Salad that needed to be served in a much larger bowl or plate if the cucumbers, carrots & chicken are going to be served in such large pieces. The first ten minutes was spent trying to cut up everything, keep it from falling onto the table (impossible) and having my grandson give me his empty plate to give me ample room for cutting it up.
