A little spendy but the food was good, and don't go in expecting to just get a burger and fries. Their menu is kind of different, but good, don't get me wrong. The staff are super sweet and quick.

The perfect stop for lunch. We had great service from Gabby she even gave us helpful tips on local things to do! Sitting outside gives a nice atmosphere. The Turkey Panini and pimento cheese were super tasty and filling! Love the little shop and bookstore next door for browsing after having a great lunch!

This is a hidden gem atop a mountain. Loved the cafe, the food was amazing, and the service was great and quick. Very friendly community. Don't forget to check out the book store when visiting.

We stopped for a break touring the Blue Ridge Parkway. I loved the bookstore. They have all types and ages of books - very reasonably priced.
We enjoyed the live music. Everyone was so friendly.

This is on a couple of important NC BBQ lists so we had to give it a try. Pulled pork is usually not my favorite BBQ item but it was super tasty here. With their homemade sauces, even better. Everything was good and prices are very reasonable. Place is a gem. Service is top notch and very friendly. Desserts... way too good. We hope to visit again.

If you visit Little Switzerland, you have to stop here for lunch. The pimento cheese is amazing! I highly recommend the potato salad as a side!

This quaint little Restaurant and gift shop is nestled in the mountains right off the main road.
Their menu offers a nice array of fresh organic home made dishes for any palette.
We loved the smoked trout platter, tomato basil soup, and smoked chicken tacos!
What a wonderful relaxing hidden gem for us after a long day of hiking.
We bought several unique items from the gift shop next door as well!

This place is amazing. Today was the second time I've been. 2 years to the day matter of fact. Labor day of 22 being the first. Got there right after they opened around 11:15am. It was empty of course. But it didn't take long. The bikers started rolling in and the rest of the out of towners Filled the place up. Gabby was awesome and the food was delicious. Their BBQ is pretty dang good folks. This whole area is just peaceful. The poor cell service allows you to capture that atmosphere and just be proud to be there. I absolutely love it.

A perfect stop and you better come hungry!!! The smokehouse is the first thing you smell and it's just a teaser for how delicious the food will be! ORDER THE PORK BBQ. Also, we bought them out of pimento cheese after ordering the appetizers. Our server was amazing and attentive as well!

We did have a short wait, but there is a fantastic book store and general store that make the time go by quickly. 100% will be making a special trip back for that pork.

Lovely place to stop for a satisfying meal:) Anything smoked is really good, and we really liked the Pimento cheese starter and sandwich. Waitstaff is attentive and charming.

10/10 atmosphere! Such a cute spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway! We sat out on the porch upstairs by a space heater and just loved the old time vibes of the restaurant!

We shared the pimento cheese with crackers and celery and each had a bowl of tomato soup and it was more than enough for lunch!

Delightful stop for lunch in an area known as Little Switzerland, located in one part of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Super expedient service. Friendly waitstaff. Prompt and courteous. Food was delicious and just the right amount.
Desserts were fantastic. I ate the triple chocolate cake and ordered a slice of the lemon berry cake to go. OMG, I am so glad I did.

Had lunch here yesterday. The food was great. I had the four cheese quiche with a salad and my husband had the rueben with potato salad. Both were delicious. The quiche was very creamy. The service was excellent and friendly.

This was a delicious lunch!  We had the deviled eggs, a fire-roasted veggie sandwich, and the quiche of the day.  The veggies were fresh, well-seasoned, and well cooked, and the quiche was tasty.  My only critique of the day is that the deviled eggs were a little too hard boiled for me.  Everything else was outstanding.  Highly recommend it.  Will go again.

Switzerland Cafe is a gem nestled in the quaint town of Little Switzerland, North Carolina. This wonderful little cafe boasts a specialty that food enthusiasts will adore—the smoked trout is not only a unique offering but also exceptionally delicious. My experience was enhanced by the charming setting on the second-floor balcony where we enjoyed a great lunch with a view. Despite the small menu, each dish was thoughtfully crafted and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere truly encapsulated the spirit of a serene mountain getaway. Switzerland Cafe is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality food in a delightful setting.

Loved our visit. We had lunch there. Most of us had the Persian Chicken Salad sandwich. It was delicious. We took home a couple of their chocolate eclairs & a couple of slices of a banana bourbon cake that was so rich and creamy. Definitely worth the stop. Gets busy on weekends & holidays as you would expect.
