Penny's Pizza and Pasta

Penny's entrance is located in the back of the building, but don't let this keep you from enjoying their delicious pizza. Inside, you will find open air seating with views of the ocean to watch the sunset.
Service was great with a very friendly staff.

Our family and friends had a good time at Penny's Pizza. It was great to sit and look out at the ocean. The food was good. This really liked what they had. But most of all the service was great! A friendly staff and a hard working manager, who also makes good drinks.

We enjoyed pizza from Penny's Pizza and Pasta while vacationing in Maui. The pizza was delicious.. our choices were the Caveman Special, Fanny Farmer, Mario Superoni, and BBQ Chicken! We were able to enjoy 4 different combinations on two large pizzas (they split each of our pizzas with the flavors we wanted) .. which was perfect for our group of four! The dough/crust was light and tasty and the sauce was full of robust tomato flavor! Highly recommend trying this place out!

Excellent restaurant with great service, quick and pleasant. The place looks a bit simple and we didn't have much expectations, but the pizza was really good. The pizza on size Large. We enjoyed our dinner here. They don't have WiFi. They have parking spots for guests. Highly recommended.

Was greeted very quickly and enjoyed our table location in the open air dining area. Our server was quick to take our order and very friendly. We tried the Chicken Parmigiano along with a "Snow White" pizza from their outdoor brick oven. The food came out hot, the pizza was crispy and very tasty. Prices were not bad and we really liked the feel of our experience. Also greeted by the manager asking if we needed anything and checking if everything was alright. I would recommend Penny's and will be returning soon.

Neat restaurant! Pizza was yummy and their ranch is as well! We came around 4:30 and it wasn’t busy at all.

This is an adorable open air Italian restaurant that is so delicious. We ate here 2 nights in a row. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, Caeser salad, Bolognese, and lasagna. All were excellent. Service was great. Don't go by their website. It is not current and something they are working on. A lovely little spot for an Italian meal.

Very cool spot in pleasant setting. We had a great view of the ocean and the pizza felt very authentic. It had amazing flavour. I would only suggest they go a little easier on the quantity of cheese. Only my opinion though. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We will be back 🍻

Great pizza!
We got the supreme: pepperoni, meatballs, bacon, ham, olives, garlic, more stuff I forget.

It was delicious, crunchy, not too fatty, and the dough was amazing. It totally hit the spot after filing ourselves with fish for a week.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and service was really quick.

Oh: and the partial view and decor were quite nice.

Highly recommended!

Chicken Parm is huge and so moist and tasty.
We returned for Pizza in Penny's outdoor Pizza Oven the following night.

This is MUCH MORE than a pizza place! We didn't expect much from an Italian restaurant in Maui, but it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Caprese Salad, the Bruschetta, the garlic cheese bread, the baked rigatoni and chicken parmesan. Everything was beautifully plated and really tasty. We will return here every time we are visiting Maui.

The supreme pizza was as good as any other and went down well with a Kona Brewing Longboard Lager. The oven fired crust was very good, and the toppings were plentiful and proportioned well. The service was friendly and hard working. Great crew working the night we went and they seemed to work well together.

The only ding on service was the delay from ordering a beer to receiving it. In WI, a beer is ordered and if the table staff is busy, the next available brings it out. Letting beers run dry is a sin, especially with pizza. Normally don't need to order beer, only need to let them know when to stop back home, but, we are on HI time, so relaxed a bit.

Speaking of beer, the only on tap was some sweet Italian beer and Coors. I sampled the Italian beer and thought it was more like sweet wine. Owned by the same group owning the bar 20 paces away with impressive taps, I was surprised. The Italian beer was meh, and who has Coors on tap? Even native Coloradoans don't drink Coors. Like Fosters to an Aussie. The table next to us got a good laugh when told what is on tap.

Overall, we would most definitely go to this, or any of the three establishments at this location. Mexican, Italian, or a good bar, pretty hard to go wrong here. They all have great staff, great food, and a really good atmosphere on the beautiful beaches. Mahalo Penny's Pizza!

They were out of pasta the night we went, but the pizza was great.
We sat out on the deck after the sun went down, and it was awesome.
We started with the calamari steak appetizers, and they were great. It's not like any other calamari we have had. They were flat planks of eel, rather than the twisty pieces I've gotten at other places. It's not rubbery at all. Also had the caprice salad, which was good, with big pieces of mozzarella. The pizza was great too. They only have one size, 14", but it was plenty for the 2 of us after the 2 appetizers. We had a half special and half cave man (meat). We finished off with the cannoli. The filling had a lime flavor and was good. Not a NY cannoli, but good.

Best Italian restaurant on island and it has ocean views! The lasagna is to die for. We usually order it as an appetizer for the table and get a couple pizzas for the main course. But be sure to save room for their tiramisu because it’s mind blowing. Excellent customer service

Wow! What a hidden gem. Service was amazing and the pizza was the best we’d had in a very long time. Traditional wood fired oven pizza! We had the Farmer and it was scrumptious. Gorgeous view (not expecting that!) and the breeze was just lovely. Had the chicken wings and calamari to start our group off. Highly recommend. You have to persevere a bit to find it- up behind the other restaurants through the parking lot and then down a little hall but don’t give up! So worth it!

Tried this for the first time. We had bruschetta to start, which was nice with a balsamic drizzle. We ate the BBQ chicken pizza, which was also good- had a nice and tangy BBQ sauce. Crust on the pizza was nice and tender

Great place to get pizza and pasta. Food is good, service is good. Right across the street from the best view for an amazing sunset.

Unbelievable to find a pizza this good in Maui. Good crisp, well done. If there's any criticism, the sauce is a tad sweet, but still very good. One Bite score 7.4. Solid pie, I'd eat it anytime. Molly, our server, was delightful and all staff we met were friendly and accommodating. Don't think twice about going here. Just go.

Oh my God we tried the pizza and it was absolutely excellent perfect compromise between thin crust and thick crust Super Fresh ingredients fast friendly service and they grow their own herbs it seems by the side of the restaurant which sure makes things fresh when they say wood fired oven they're not kidding it's right in the middle of the restaurant they also have a large selection of other Italian dishes all of which look delicious as they can buy we're going to visit this place many more times before we leave
