La Poblana Mexican Food

Came here late in the afternoon. Was delighted. A lot of authentic Mexican food that is really well done. My wife is gluten free and I'm vegetarian and there were a ton of options for both of us that were clearly labeled.

Restaurant is relatively small tucked away in a retail area but service was good and the food was probably the 2nd best meal I had in Maui. My wife also loved her horchata and coffee

Got the birria tacos and loved them! We’ve eaten here a few times and we keep going back to make sure it’s as good as we say. Great flavors and the food is consistently delicious, lots of seating and the staff is the friendliest. Great breakfast spot as well.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Kihei. Affordable ala carte tacos (Blackened Seared Ahi is amazing). Full bar, TVs, not a good spot for American football. Authentic food, hidden gem. Tasty sauce/salsa/queso options.

This restaurant is one of Kihei's hidden gems! I've been here for dinner before and had the carne asada wet burrito with the most amazing Verde sauce! Today we came for breakfast for the first time. The churro bites are out of this world! Made fresh when we ordered, sweet, crunchy on the outside and soft inside ..YUM! We shared huevos rancheros, which our server recommended, and it was soooo good!! Finished off with flan which was creamy and served with sliced strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream.
If you're craving good Mexican food, good service and a nice atmosphere, come to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything was authentic, so tasty, that mild green sauce was so good. My server was attentive, and food was brought out on time. If you want real Mexican food i recommend this place.

Great food and great service. The tlacoyo is amazing. Free chips and salsa. And the food is very authentic. Great delivery options as well.

Best BIRRIA TACOS in Kihei. Customer service is ON POINT. Food is amazing, bomb horchata, & churros. This our go to Thursday meals as they only serve birria on this day. Don't walk, RUN & support this business!

From the west coast where I can find great Mexican food just about anywhere and this is right up there. Carne asada tacos were perfect. 10/10 would recommend. Service was great, food was great and the price was great too! $40 fed 2 adults and a child with a couple soft drinks. Hard to find on Maui!

Excellent food, great service and cute ambiance. Probably the cheapest meal we had during our stay in Maui, and one of the best.

We love getting take out from La Poblana. Great burritos, tacos, tlacoyos and much more. I always ask for their chipotle sauce! It’s not on the menu but they will give it if you ask. Super flavorful and spicy 🌶 🤤🤙🏻

We ate here during our short trip to Hawaii and it was so good we went Saturday AND Sunday for breakfast! We got juevos rancheros and a chorizo breakfast burrito and both was amazing!!! Highly recommended!

Stopped in for Breakfast recently and had something new and delicious, Carne Asada Chilaquidas with 2 eggs over easy, see picture. There is a large selection of eat in breakfast items from traditional pancakes and egg dishes to Mexican favorites. Also have a long list of to go breakfast burritos. Friendly service and good prices.

Great Mexican food, haven’t had anything bad yet. If you like kind of spicy salsa try their red salsas, habanero and a Smokey flavored one. They aren’t extremely spicy but they have a kick and good flavor.

This place has great breakfast burritos. We took them to go so we could eat at the beach. Everything else looked great too. Definitely recommend!

The best tacos ive had in the hawaii islands so far. Get their tacos. And dont forget their adobo salsa. Carnitas, lengua and the alpastor were all absolutely delicious.

Amazing family owned restaurant! I grew up with authentic Mexican food and this is one of my favorite restaurants on island! Wonderful staff too! Always makes me come back over and over again!

Pleasantly SURPRISED - This is a diamond in the rough, folks. The ceviche dip, shrimp tacos, and cantarito drink were all delicious! If you’re in Kihei, this is worth a stop for lunch or a quick dinner. Food came out fast and service was good as well. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK 👏
