Roasted Chiles

This is literally the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! From the margaritas, to the guacamole and salsa, to the chicken enchiladas—they are truly the best! We have been about 7 times already. I am from California and Texas and have had some fabulous Mexican food in my life. And they work with my allergies every time. I’m allergic to corn (I know hard in a Mexican restaurant) and they are very accommodating. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Drinks were good and they had a large tequila selection.
Chile relleno was tasty and had a lot more spice and pepper flavor than most so that was enjoyable.
Beans didn't come out of a can as well.

Authentic and incredible! As maui real estate agents its important to know all of Maui’s great restaurants to share with our clients and Roasted Chilies is at the top of the list with excellent customer service and amazing food. We just cannot get enough. Pick anything on the menu and you will be blown away! Make sure to experience the desserts too.

Roasted Chiles in Kihei is a great spot for Mexican food. A great atmosphere with the contents of the restaurant being brought from Mexico. We are locals and enjoy stopping by from time to time. Sometimes just for a drink and sometimes for drink and food. My favorite item is the enchiladas langostina. Such a unique dish and if you get a side of the Serrano and garlic sauce and add that to the top you can’t go wrong.

Well, I’d show a picture of the food. It didn’t take one when we started and now all that is left are empty plates. I’m a central Californian and eat Mexican food just about daily. This restaurant exceeded my expectations! Delicious!!

Love this little gem. We go here often and recently had a party of 8. Our table was ready and we were cordially greeted as always. Service was awesome and the food is very reasonably priced and excellent. Feels like home.

Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Easy free parking and great location. We regularly go here on car show nights and Kihei fourth Fridays.

Unassuming looking restaurant in a mall. There was a line outside, so it was great we made reservations. Started with fresh made tortillas and salsa -- always a good sign. We had a burrito, mole, carnitas and fish tacos. The good: fresh food, well prepared. Service was quick and friendly. Price was reasonable. Overall: not much to complain about. Don't expect high end gourmet fare, just a solid family style Mexican restaurant. We'd definitely repeat.

Excellent choices on the menu. The taco salad had a generous amount of fish. My son ordered the family " secret sauce" dish a favorite. It was a generous amount of food. Prices were a little high for Mexican food. For three of us came to $87 with only one happy hour margarita! We had excellent service so I still wanted to leave 5 stars!

Give them all the stars! I Had breakfast by myself. I don't care! I don't need a date to go out to eat! The Carnitas Eggs Benedict was great! I love a good Eggs Bennie! The bartender/server was amazing. She made me the best Bloody Maria! More people should go to Roasted Chili's for breakfast. But let's not have too many people go because I still want there to be room for me.

Been here only a few times. Today was beyond expectations. Food & margarita were outstanding. Believe they make their own margarita mix, which is JUST part of the wonderful, AUTHENTIC, original mexican dining experience. They have daily happy hour deals. I absolutely INHALED all my food. Staff is very warm, quick, efficient. Chelsea, Jessica & Isaac r awesome!

Really good $5 happy hour margaritas and very well done daiquiri. The Langistino lobster is no joke, try It! Pork pastor was excellent and the guacamole is to die for, literally it's that good. Everything is nicely priced, although the guac was almost $10, but is it to die for afterall. Steak fajitas had copious amounts of steak and flavor. Did I mention the $5 happy hour margaritas?

Great Mexican restaurant in Maui! Staff are warm and friendly. Food is delicious and well portioned. The fresh lemonade is so tasty! Definitely a keeper...can't wait to try more items the next time in town.

I went here once on my trip and absolutely loved the tacos. Great atmosphere and the hostess was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place

Dropped in for lunch just as they opened (11:30 am). Prompt service included chips and salsa along with answers to our menu questions. The salsa was “homemade”. Had fajitas cooked just right along with “homemade” tortillas. The food was authentic Mexican food and it was great. Service was prompt too. It was as reasonably priced as well... even for Maui.

The chips and salsa is SOOO good! We had to have seconds. I had the carnitas, which was deliciously crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. This is my second time here and the place is even more busy despite covid. Must be word of mouth. :)

Cute butterflies on the wall. We wanted to buy one but couldn't because of the limited supply. The owner said the walls used to be full of them but some flew away...

We went here for lunch and had the most lovely experience. The wait staff was delightful, the daily margarita (mandarin) was to-die-for, and the daily special (taco and buritto) was DELICIOUS!

I also got churos. SO yummy!!!!

Definitely a must stop if you’re looking for a good Mexican food in Kihei. Excellent beer and tequila selection and the food is fantastic as well.

Yum! Had a taco salad with roasted veggies & guacamole today! It was very good. In the past I’ve had their queso and a couple varieties of salsas. Also delicious! I’ve only had take out and each time I’ve had a great experience. Will eat in one day and have some drinks! 😊

Definitely a hole in the wall place, but with excellent authentic Mexican food and good service. Will certainly eat here again when next in Maui. Started with Queso and chips - very tasty

Went for apps and margs and was not disappointed! Cool spot hidden in a strip mall.
