Maui Grappling Academy

Reached out to Keith on Instagram to see if I could swing by for Tuesday's Nogi class while we were visiting Maui and he was very gracious in letting me drop in. Once I got there everyone was extremely welcoming and eager to introduce themselves.

Gym was easy to find, clean, and had a ton of mat space. Ohana vibes yet also a high level room full of skilled practitioners if you want to get some work in. Highly recommend dropping in or joining if local.

I reached out to Keith a few weeks before visiting Maui on vacation. Keith and the rest of the team were amazing and treated me like a teammate for the day. Some of the nicest people you'll meet and amazing jiu-jitsu. One of the highlights of my trip, definitely worth dropping in.

Stopped by for Friday night open mat, as an outsider I felt very welcomed, good mix of levels. The blackbelts were incredibly knowledgably and inspiring. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Maui.

While in Maui visiting family, I was fortunate enough to find the Maui Grappling Academy family. Professor Keith and his wife, Vi, were gracious and everyone I trained with was very welcoming. If you are looking for super nice people and excellent grappling, Maui Grappling Academy is the place. They really do have an Ohana environment! Thank you!

My daughter (6 years old) has been training here for about 6 months and I couldn't recommend it enough. She always looks forward to going. It's excellent exercise and I can see her gaining strength and confidence. The coaches always greet her by name and seem excited to see her. The ratio of adults to students is great as well. Highly recommend

I visited Maui back in January for a week, and I was fortunate enough to train twice at MGA during my stay. Professor Keith is very knowledgeable and teaches great techniques. The MGA environment is very clean and well kept. The MGA family is very inviting, and will help you to push yourself as there is plenty of time to spar at the end of class. I have found a new home when I visit Maui, and I highly recommend any locals or visitors to go check out MGA.

We went Back home in Maui 2018 for Thanksgiving. My 2 boys train Jiu Jitsu under Drysdale/Zenith. I called my long time friend Professor Keith and welcome us like family. Amazing atmosphere, the Coaches are outstanding especially the Professor's wife Vi. We the Rodriguez's appreciate you and can't THANK YOU enough for welcoming us and opening your door like family everytime we're back home. If you are in Maui and looking for a place to train while away from home, and if you live here on Maui and interested in Jiu Jitsu and wants to give it a try, and for the parents can't decide which sports for your kids. Definitely train here when in Maui! Keith is a great coach and the students give the place an amazing vibe. The classes are structured really well and techniques are explained in detail. Recommended!!

Great academy, very friendly, while I was on vacation over Thanksgiving 2022 I was privileged to be able to train with these great people. Tough and technical round after round, hope to visit in future. Thanks again!
