Sonic Drive-In

Food was hot, tasty and came out pretty quick. Being from Canada and never trying sonic before, the experience was unique. The Cherry Limeade was amazing, the garlic butter bacon burger was unique. Overall was a cool experience and had some good food.

If you need a quick snack, a full meal or a tummy sweet treat Sonic’s got you covered. My wife loves the chili dog without cheese.

Glad we didnt rely solely on the bad reviews—we had a great first experience at Kahului Sonic with John who took our order at the stall & Neilynn bringing our food out yessahh. We came in from Oahu on a evening flight, by da time we got our rental around 9:30 pm most places closed, so decided to chance ʻem even tho most of da reviews are negative.

Ordered a deluxe teri cheeseburger, jumbo popcorn chicken both with tater tots; reeses peanut butter blast & my all time fave, blue coconut cream slush. Food was hot but not burn your mouth kine—just right. Tater tots crispy & hot.

My blue coconut cream slush taste just like my college days on da mainland lol much mahaloʻs to da local artists of our childhood for bringing this food chain to da islands—Made with Aloha taste different!

Fast service great food friendly Staff. Always make sure to have lunch at Sonic when I'm working on Maui. Recommend for everyone.

The food was better than I thought. Service was great I had an issue they fixed right away. Give credit where credit is due, they did very well all around I’ll be back

There are many slush/shake options and the ones we tried were great! Fast service and very happy with the food!

The food was great I went to Maui for the day went here for lunch they were vary kind and patient also recommended some things when me and my fiance had a hard time choosing Sence it was are first time at sonics the food came to us fast never been to a place with such an amazing workers I got the chili cheese tots and some chicken strips while my fiance got a burger meal the stuff was awesome we were so full after that I can’t express how greatful we are and how awesome the food was

Visiting Maui with the family and decided to check out Sonic for the first time. Overall we had a great experience. Given they just opened a few months ago, they delivered a good service. Some people had high expectations, they were quick to give them a bad review. Give them a few more months it will get better. As for the pricing, it’s aligns with places like McDonald’s and others. And keep in mind it’s a fast food. It was great. And big thanks to the General Manager Jesse for coming out and checking on us. Sonic is lucky to have Jesse and a great crew.

It was pretty cool to experience the park and order your food! Browse their menu on the big screen and when you are ready to order, just press the red button and they take your order just like in the drive thru! You also pay there, no cash options. The screen then let's you know when they are done and they deliver your oder to your car. Anyways, the food was awesome! Loved the mozzarella sticks, tots, and pretzels. Double sonic burgers were bigger than expected! Worth it! The only thing they forgot was the straws for our shake and soft drinks! But push the red button and they'll be right out with what you need! First time here and loved it!! Bye bye Jack in the Box! Hello Sonic!!

Their new building is pretty nice. This was my first time going through the drive through. Which had double lanes to order from & even had a door next to the pickup window. So if you're order is ready before you get to the window. Someone can bring your order to you & collect payment. Which is convenient when you're in the Safeway parking lot & want something quick for the ride home. My chocolate Oreo ice cream didn't even make it home. But I had help, ice cream bites for him & cookie ice cream bites for me. I also grew up loving pretzels, so I tend to order my childhood favorite fix every chance I get. Their pretzels are tiny, but perfect size. Even though my tummy might disagree. My guy likes their hot dogs & fries. I'm personally not a hot dog fan but I'll probably try some of his fries next time.

Drive thru was a little slow, but the food was great as always. Cherry limeade is always the best thing on the menu.

Went here yesterday. Food was great. Even though pricey. Service was also great. People need to understand whoever provided poor ratings that we are coming through the pandemic and a disaster so it's not always going to be what you expect. Have some compassion and patience. Appreciate these hard workers for dealing with such hard times to show up every day and providing everyone their needs at this place

Attended soft opening. Grand opening is Feb 20 2023. Got the double bacon cheeseburger, tater tots, and cherry limeade. Burger was juicy and came out fast, high end fast food burgers. Cherry limeade had lime slices inside.

I went to the Sonic Drive -In I went there with my friends during and Bud they wanted me to try it and I really loved it we had the real long hot dogs and they were delicious.
I would definitely go back there again because the food was just great in the service was great and we brought some hot dogs for home for my son and he loves them too

I'm not going to lie, I was kind of scared to go here after reading some of the bad reviews. My experience was quite decent. Lady at the window was very nice and we got our food quickly.

We’ve gotten shakes from this Sonic twice while on vacation and they were the greatest thing I’ve ever had in my entire life. Service great as well, highly recommend their shakes.

We had the footlong chili dog and limeade. Great late nite hours if you're wanting a snack or even a late meal.

Friendly employees. Fast service.

Been here almost every day since they've opened. Love the chili cheese tots.

Cherry 🍒 limeade and strawberry 🍓 cheesecake shake are the bomb!
