Taco Bell

Of course we had to get the nacho fries. They were good. We got the nacho box, chalupa box and nacho fries box. Came out fast and hot. Delicious as always. I wish the staff were a bit friendlier but they are never rude and I've always gotten what I ordered.

The staff are friendly. Food is good. Not a lot of parking near the restaurant but they do have several dining tables.

The Taco Bell restaurants here also serve a limited menu of personal pan pizzas and breadsticks from Pizza Hut (another subsidiary of Yum! Brands). Service is relatively quick, the restaurant is well kept, and the menu items are fairly priced for what you get. It has been many years since the restaurant was last overhauled, and it shows with how the chair legs have developed patina and the tables are kept from wobbling with bunched up napkins, but the tables, seats and countertops are always kept pretty clean.

At the time of this review, this taco bell just brought back its heavily marketed "nacho fries" with the tagline "Season two, seasoned too". Unfortunately they were unavailable on the day of this review.

Here on Maui, the Taco Bells have a specially made, limited offer "kalua pork" menu which incorporates the local delicacy into their dishes. It's not for me though as I personally go to Taco Bell for their namesake. The tacos are flavorful and lack the extra fruits and vegetables that I do not enjoy on my tacos (though I would have appreciated black olives as an option). Their nachos are pricy and the amount of cheese sauce they give is on the lesser side. "Two pumps" was the response I was given one day when inquiring about the cheese amount. Decades ago, they once offered cold cheese which would effectively give you more cheese since the cheese would expand as it warmed rather than contract as it cooled given the same initial volume. Nowadays, you're stuck with hot cheese at two pumps which quickly cools leaving you with about half a container's worth of cheese at room temperature. I order it nonetheless since there is really no competition when it comes to quick, affordable cheese sauce which I absolutely love.

All in all, this Taco Bell is a great place to eat. Under normal circumstances, I would have given them 5 stars since I have very often considered going to Taco Bell for lunch or dinner, but they get a 4 simply because of their limited payment options. The only credit cards they accept are Visa and Mastercard so people who use Discover or Amex (who in my experience, are many in regards to tourists) as their primary card will be disappointed. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've opted to dine at the Jack in the Box across the street for the simple fact that I didn't want to make the purchase on my Visa.

UPDATE 7/27/18: I was just informed that Taco Bell now accepts Discover and Amex eliminating my primary gripe with the restaurant. I can now give Taco Bell my full 5 stars thanks to this news.

The best Taco Bell I have ever been to. The service is fast and the food taste fresher than other locations. The Maui guide books have a coupon for buy one get one free taco supremes on page 40 if you are looking for a deal. Also clean bathrooms but you have to ask the front for a key. They also have a free taco if you buy a $10 gift card.

I ordered $30 of food and it was ready right away. Fastest service from Taco Bell ever! Also everything was made great!

Always a sure bet. My favorite is always the Beefy 5-layer burrito. The Nacho Fries are pretty good too as is the Potato burrito. One Beefy 5-layer burrito should satiate most hunger pangs & still leave plenty change in your pocket.

Usually, I am not a fast food fan, but for a quick good meal, this is probably my go to. I think prices are very reasonable, combo meals are enough to fill you up.

Quick, accurate, and most of all, delicious! The only bad thing about this place (along with ALL Taco Bell’s) is the price of soft drinks. Highly recommend this place. The drive thru lane is narrow but doable.

Great location, love the updated furnishings in the dining room, and there are always local jams playing when I go in. Quick, efficient, and friendly staff

Did some big vegan orders here. And it's good soft taco party box bean no cheese extra lettuce red sauce and guacamole. Then got it again 3 times the next day love it! Don't forget the Sierra mist $$$$ but worth shoutout to the crew

Great place for a quick bite. I feel they have really made an effort maximize customer experience through the pamemic. I've been there several times and never had to get out of my car, instead a drive in attendant walks out to your car and takes your order. Payment is via cc happens right at your window. Great tenchnial implementation! A separate line for phone order. When the orders are ready they are walked and handed to you in your car. All that at a better value and quality than near by fast food restaurants.

The staff at this one is particularly friendly and courteous. Food is.lightning fast and on-point. Even by Taco Bell standards! I know this location is probably tough with the vagrancy, and we all appreciate a cool environment, but damn, the dining room is an ice box!

As in regards to Door Dash their customer service is above reproach. They're always quick with orders & are very professional. I wish other restaurants would follow in Taco Bell's footsteps.

Absolute tops! Staff is always super polite, they always ask how you are, smiles, please and thank yous, charismatic. On top of being so friendly these guys are also quick and efficient even at the busy times. My go-to when going for quick food on a weekday.

Really no complaints. I grabbed the XXL Grilled Stuft steak burrito with no sour cream. Same quality and great taste I've experienced all over the world. Quick and polite service, clean restaurant, and convenient location.
