L&L Hawai‘ian Barbecue

If you’re in maui and trying to eat on a budget, this place is the best choice! The food is delicious and quick. Mini plates are huge and only cost $10 I recommend the chicken katsu curry. Yum! One of my all time favorites, they have it all over in Oahu as well. The prices are so good for food in Kihei.

Outstanding restaurant that many locals frequent. Owner recognized my accent as a Canadian tourist and we shot the breeze for a few minutes of his busy day. Large portions and good prices make it a hard to pass up. Already tried the location in Kahului, but this same meal better prepared and less salty. Mahalo 🤙🏾

First time having Lau Lau and it didn’t disappoint. Very good and the leaves had a very nice earthy taste - almost like cassava leaves.

Stopped by for lunch on our way off the island. Amazing food. Pricing for my husband and I was about $15 each for the Seafood Combo we got.

Amazing Hawaiian BBQ!!! Got the mixed plate... So much food. Meat is so tender. Great bang for your buck. Short ribs were some of the best I've had.

Good deals on the Teriyaki Steak Bowl and Kalua Cabbage Bowl. They tell you 5 minutes but it's 2 minute wait only. Not too much rice.

I ordered a mini-beef curry to go and when I picked it up they had lined the take out plate with foil. Not to many establishments do this, so kudos to L&L in Kihei for being ahead of the curve. Not to mention their beef curry is Da Best! Their rice is always consistentantly good and their mac salad is "Mac-daddy" ono!

This place is great. Huge portions, wide variety of items, and the staff is super friendly and orders come out super fast! It is located in a shopping center next to an ABC Store, Starbucks and Cold Stone Creamery. This place saved our first night on the island!!!

I asked for the kalua pig and cabbage and laulau on their own, as I had never tried them before (first time in Maui) and it was a great experience! Very tasty and quite cheap! The staff was friendly too.
