I searched for this review for so long. There is a young lady there she is the best floor assistant I have ever been to an home depot store and meet. I believe they need to have her train the staff and give her a raise. She is a black lady. Somehow, I can not remember her name, but her name starts with an A. My hats off to you, Miss A.

William Villa deserves tremendous credit for the wonderful customer assistance he offered me. He embodied professionalism, appropriate discretion and kindness throughout my experience.

After being treated with indifference, waiting in lumber a 1/2 hr for assistance, I arrived at truck rental 3 min past the cutoff time. Standing with several hundred dollars in purchases, I wondered how I would get them home.

William Villa stepped forward with a friendly smile, understood my dilemma, and approved the rental to save my day. He even offered me a soda and a napkin for the ride. Had he not shown me such exceptional kindness that day, I would have never returned. This gentleman is a good person and valuable to any employer lucky enough to have him.

Thank you Mr. Villa.

We recently had to purchase a new refrigerator. We worked with Tom Mullaney who was extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional. I would encourage anybody who visits the Derby Home Depot to work with him.

Eva helped me exchange a ryobi lawn mower and she was exceptionally proficient and awesome!!

Great for needing somethings mortimer in stock most employees are knowledgeable on general products and most know store layout well.

Like most other Home Depots, well laid out and plenty of employees to ask if you need help. This one seemed cleaner and slightly newer than other ones I've been to in the past so it was nice. The self checkout registers were good because since I only came in for one thing, I was able to be in and out in just a few minutes.

If you're looking for a one-stop shop for all your home improvement needs, look no further than The Home Depot. But let's be real, it's not just about the tools and materials - it's about the people. The employees at this location are truly the heart and soul of the store. From the guy in the paint section who taught me how to mix the perfect shade of millennial pink for my accent wall, to the greeter who always greets me with a warm smile and a "Welcome back, champ!"

One thing I found, is that even when you go there not really knowing what you need they will get you sorted out with their expertise, they are like Gandalf of the DIY world. "You shall not pass" to your home without the perfect tile, trust me.

And let's not forget the shopping carts, they're like little race cars, zooming around the store, dodging displays and customers with precision and grace. It's like being in a real-life Mario Kart game.

The girl in paint department was friendly and very knowledgeable!

Went into buy a plastic floor runner for under a carpet runner so it doesn't slide around and I couldn't believe how fast a store worker was right there offering help. She then cut the plastic runner to the exact size I needed. I honestly could believe how fast and nice this worker was. She even came up to the check out counter to ensure the cashier got the correct price on the runner do to two separate prices. This worker went above and beyond. Truly wish I knew her name so could thank her again and so she gets the credit she deserves. She was by far the kindest, quickest and most knowledgeable homedepot worker I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Yesterday evening I was walking through the store and a kind employee asked if I needed help. The employee, Aaron, went above and beyond in helping me. Aaron should be commended! Derby is the Home Depot to shop at! Thanks Aaron! More recently I was back at the derby Home Depot and Shawn helped me pick out a few Christmas gifts. What a great employee. I went to find the manager to inform him/her of this great employee and I found out that he is the manager! Great store, great employees, that atmosphere is awesome! Upper management take note!!

I went to this location on a busy Saturday afternoon to just browse the store and their clearance items. I wasn't disappointed. There were so many items on clearance, I wanted to put most of in my cart but knew better, because I'd have a lot of explaining to do to "the boss" at home. More surprising; even with the store packed with customers, I had three (3) store associates asking if they could assist me in finding anything. Now that's service. Checkout was fast. I used the self checkout register and the female associate that was overseeing them was so friendly and cheerful, she made my day. Overall, it was a wonderful shopping experience for me.

Big place where you can buy your necessary materials.

This home depot is well stocked, very clean, employees are helpful and knowledgeable.
Online pick up orders are done quickly, correct with no issues.
Parking lot especially in the spring summer seasons can have a lot of merchandise but you can usually get a spot to park close to entrance.

Great place, great service and great with handling covid protocols. Hard working staff that work hard even with alot of rude customers that seem to come in and make their job harder. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for supplies to start the summer right. Just got new paint for the house and the paint staff were really sweet and helpful young ladies despite what other reviews falsely say the staff here are awesome and make u feel at home and give great assistance.
