Da Shrimp Hale

We were visiting from Georgia and our daughters love seafood and this was the closest place that reminded us of home and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing and the waitresses well everyone in there was sooooo nice.

We stopped off for lunch and got the boiled clams with garlic butter sauce medium spice and calamari with Cajun fries. The boiled food is served in a bag and you’re given plastic gloves to eat it with. It was really good - we wished we’d gotten the seafood gumbo and will definitely try that next time ! Food was served quick and staff were very pleasant.

This 👏🏾 is 👏🏾 the 👏🏾 place 👏🏾 for 👏🏾 everything 👏🏾 seafood!!!! You enter into a well lit, clean, vibrant and seafood festive restaurant with an amazing staff!!! Great customer service, informative menus with great pictures and explanation of everything. Food came out quick, fresh AF, hot and so DAMN DELICIOUS!!! Portions were big, rice was well made (IYKYK), potatoes were soft, corn absorbed all the boil and the seafood was obviously fresh to order!!! We love it here and we highly, highly, highly recommend SHRIMP HALE!!!!!!

I’ll start off with… the beer battered deep fried Prawns were so delicious. Not fancy or expensive and their seafood is amazing 👍🏼
The tables are covered with a piece of paper, and your waitress will provide you ample napkins and a wipe for your hand and face when your done. Did I mention fresh Hawaiian Prawns are friggin amazing. I’m from Alaska and previously believed there was no better seafood than there. I was wrong. They are huge. Four filled me up. Lol
Anyway, an outdoor style, look and atmosphere indoors in a mall setting.
Prawns were 15$. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Just had the most amazing meal here. Be prepared to get messy, they provide bibs and gloves. Do not miss out if you are staying in Maui, it’s a little hidden gem in a shopping centre. The staff were so friendly and when I had questions about the menu they were happy to answer. I have never had such fresh amazing sea food.

Good place for seafood. We got off the airplane, in search of food. In searches crab on Google and Da Shrimp showed up. It’s not open until 11am but we figure we’d just go wait.

By the time we were seated, the friendly waitress gave us some crayons as we have two kids in the party. The table was covered with a sheet of white paper. Hmm, probably we should draw. So, the party of 7, aged from 6 to 71 started drawing. We ordered seafood combo, along with raw oysters. The food was served, but without utensils. All we got are gloves and bibs. OK, that’s something interesting!

The combo seafood was delicious. The oyster was also very fresh and delicious. We loved it so much that we dropped by again on the day we flew out.

Came here because we were in the mood for some seafood and this place came showed up as one of the best seafood spots. The food was great but go with the Spicier options so the food has a lot more taste. Mild is pretty low in sauce. We tried the "all of the kine" sauce and it was very tasty. The service was also very helpful and friendly. Would recommend it.

The boiled seafood is great. And the server is patient to introduce the favorites. We enjoying eating here.

The best crab legs ive had in Maui. This place did not disappoint and it was a byob. Very clean and they did check for your vaccination card so we felt safe here.

The Beer Battered Shrimp was the absolute BOMB. The fries were deliciously seasoned. The sauce was definitely the BOSS. The side of potatoes was really, really good, they were perfectly smothered in oil. The corn on the cob was incomparable. You will want to come back for more of all this good stuff! Too bad I don’t live in Maui...

The food here is so good! We couldn’t decide what flavors to get and the staff was helpful. We ended up getting the shrimp w Cajun and clams w All of Da Kine and both were unbelievably delicious!! The right combo of Cajun flavors etc! We also got the calamari & chips w Cajun and that was perfection too. We plan to return to get their oysters. Yum!

Usually I am not eating fried food… but today during my trip to Maui I decided to stop by at de shrimp hale. Good food of course deep fried and what is interesting u can bring your own drinks… very friendly staff. Mahalo 😀

Omg!!! Yes! Another hit for Maui. Seafood boil , Elote corn. Perfect seasoning, fresh seafood. Loved it!

The best restaurants are the ones we aren't looking for. If you are around, definitely give it a try.

Great place, great food, funny plastic gloves to eat directly from the bag, love it ! And very fair prices for fresh seafood !

One of my favorite places to go with friends - a bit pricy but not unlike any other similar shop that does similar styles of food where they bring it out to you on the table for a seafood boil. The elote and other non-seafood stuff though are just as great, and I'd say that if you're looking for a good get-together spot and your friends or colleagues love seafood, this is a great place to be at

We had a combo bag and oysters with a whole lobster.
If you want good seafood and eat it like you don’t care about how messy it is, this place is the perfect one to have fun while eating it.
