Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill

This is an always go to place for us over the past years , we go at different times during the day and have always had great food, drinks. Evenings with live music makes it a fun place to be if you're just there to have drinks or a really good dinner

Sat at the bar between Uber driving, 1st time there, but driven by the live music many times. There's a nice railing from the dining area, raised a couple of feet higher than the patio tables, overlooking the band. Food was expected Maui pricing, moderate to semi-pricey, depending on what you order. Seems to have amongst the best view of the park and partial sunset view of the ocean. The road traffic is right in front, but it's slow moving and doesn't overpower the band. If you want it a little quieter for conversation or sensitive ears, sit deeper inside, but there's no way to sit completely away from the music. Nice atmosphere, very beachy vibe with bamboo and palm tree art decor. Small bar, just 4 stools, but there's a row of rail seating for the bar feel. I saw a table of 10 sat a little tight, but comfortable, seems like they could do a little bigger party but don't have reservations, space and weather affected. I had the Ahi-BLTA and fries. It was delicious! The Ahi was perfectly seared, and generous portions to taste in every bite of the sandwich. The Ahi has a like smokey flavor, combined with bacon lettuce and tomato; the wasabi-aioli was just enough to complete the flavor, not overpowered by wasabi, a nice accent. Many items on the menu looked tempting, from burgers to calamari, shrimp, Huli Huli chicken, sushi, and more; not to mention brunch.
No beers on tap, but bottles and cans including locally made Maui Brewing Co. Some of the specialty cocktails looked great, but I don't drink anymore, Heineken Zero is one of my least favorite NA beers so I had an A & W, but I imagine that doesn't affect most of you reading this. It's a small bar so if you're picky, you might not find exactly what variety of Vodka/Gin, etc, but a fair variety from medium to premium. Great happy hour prices, but step up so you can you can tell your friends and family about your spectacular handcrafted specialty cocktail, paint your memory across from the park and hear a song that will remind you of everything from your visit, before you scroll off to watch sunset on the ocean. Or share the same story that everyone has about the Mai-Thai/Pina Colada as everyone on every cruise, tropical beach vacation anywhere... don't leave it to "This time, I had a screwdriver by the street in Maui...". Sit outside and enjoy. Wow, I really rambled there. Tip your server!

Whitney was quick to help me at the bar and got me my menu, a few gentlemen sitting next to me had her locked down, telling her about exciting whale sightings from across the street earlier, Yonnie/Yani? was quick to step in and get my order which came out fresh and fast. Everything looked clean, bar seats next to me were wiped quick, saw lots of hand washing. I didn't use the on-site bathroom.

The ambiance and drinks were great. The service was excellent. Our server saw that my wife didn’t like/eat her poke bowl so she took the charge off by herself. We were not expecting that and were pleasantly surprised and pleased with their hospitality. The live music was a blast.

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Maui and it was amazing! I would recommend trying the fried calamari! It was one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! Super fresh!!! We also had the Flat Iron Steak W/ Grilled Shrimp which was full of so much amazing flavor! And we also got the Ohana Poke Trio Sampler. If you love raw fish, definitely try the trio! You’ll get to taste 3 types of fish pokes.

Easy to relax, eat some food, watch the roosters🐓 drink some drinks and people watch🧐🤓👍

We had a fantastic experience at this establishment. The cuisine was exceptional, offering a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. My family and I were excited to try this restaurant for our first time in Maui. We came during happy hour for discounted drinks and appetizers (coconut shrimp) that we loved. I thought the drinks were made very well, and the Island chicken sandwich was so juicy and delicious! The live music created a very comforting ambience as well. The owner even came by the tables to ensure customer satisfaction. I absolutely loved my experience here and I would encourage others to dine here in the future.

Great place for relaxing after a long day. Sitting outside listening to music, they do not rush you. We just missed happy hour by 30 minutes which was a shame because they had 5 dollar mai tais!

The wait staff was friendly and checked in with us regularly. The food was delicious - best fish tacos! The beef kabob is great and the calamari not your basic fried - it is absolutely wonderful. Great live music in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

After being ignored next door for 10 minutes while the other place was dead, I chose to come to Ohana. Glad I did! I’ve walked by this place for years. Perched at the bar, within earshot of a great performer with live music, I was greeted immediately. Bartenders were both friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be there (even tho at work) - compared to the Three spot. Got my drinks and food lickety split. Great calamari and HH deals. I’ll be back. They won me over from 3.

We listened to a local to check this place out and I am so glad we listened! The food was to die for. The chicken was half a chicken so come hungry! The fish and chips were so good and the volcano fries had a nice spice to it. The live music was so peaceful and it was funny to see a chicken and rooster roam around!

We spent our first dinner in Hawaii at this restaurant AND OMG!!! everything was on point. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere was phenomenal. We definitely will be back before we leave.

The food was amazing, best fish tacos I’ve ever had, amazing calamari and onion rings, and great burgers. The service was excellent with food being delivered quick and a nice server, and the live music was simply amazing. The atmosphere was great and there was nothing wrong with this place at all. Overall I would for sure recommend, me and my family had an amazing time. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews!

We had to take out because our daughter got foot accident. We ordered only calamari and volcano roll, and what we got was a VERY nice service from staff with the VERY delicious food. If you don't try Fried Calamari and volcano roll, you will miss the flavorsome cuisine. We are pretty sure that we will dine in next time. LOVE your SERVICE and FOOD!!! 👍🏻😄

The food was very good. They had live music which was enjoyable. The drinks were made right. Very nice dinner. The interiors atmosphere could be a little bit better but the food was good enough that I still gave 5 stars. The flat iron kabob was great!

One of our favorite meals on Maui! When they claim to have the BEST calamari on the island, they own it! Hands down the best on Maui! The spicy margaritas can't be beat either. Habanero flavor was amazing! The perfect amount of heat. We also loved the grilled shrimp skewer appetizer. The seafood pasta was unreal.

Amazing! Food and drinks were delicious. Good size portions. Had a great experience with our waiter Tyler. Would definitely come back!

Has great poke , sushi rolls and great drinks with awesome live music assortment.. the ambiance is that of a warm beach party with torches and amazing servers. Make sure to prep for Mosquitos!
