Heritage Deli & Cafe

I’ve been going to this deli for around 4 years, both at their new and old locations, I can say it’s one of the best places to get a quick bite to eat while supporting a local business. Love their early bird special with their egg sandwiches, $2.50 for a meat, egg and cheese sandwich! You can’t beat that especially with how expensive everything has gotten in recent years. The wicked chicken will always be a favorite for me, you can also order mobile with ChowNow which is convenient if you don’t want to call in. Service is great, the girl taking orders is always bright and social, always making for a wonderful experience. Both indoor and outdoor seating, right by the southbury green. I’m glad their new location gives them more foot traffic and exposure.

Great lunch and the prices are excellent. Depending what I order, I can usually get a sandwich and a drink for less than 10 bucks. Can't beat that in 2024.

Super affordable. Nice atmosphere. Great chicken guacamole sandwich. French fries were good to. A little bit busy for a friday before 11am.

Food is so good and the stuff is wonderful! This is a great little spot to grab some yummy lunch.

Best chicken salad sandwich iv had in a long time crispy bacon it was delicious just wish there some more chicken salad on it it was a little sparse

They make a bacon egg and cheese almost as good as one you can get in NY. I love it

Awesome place. Friendly service & reasonable prices. I highly recommend the Wicked Chicken. Sometimes it can get packed inside while waiting for your order so order online and pick it up instead.

Fresh not overly salted, nice flavors. Delicious and way better than other spots in town

Its probably been 5 years since ive been to this staple and they dont miss a beat. Even after changing location the food is so consistent. Thanks for great food and amazing memories!

Excellent place for a quick bite. Ordered some lunch for pick up, things were ready when stated. Sandwich was awesome, they put on all the toppings I requested correctly as well. Great deal with very nice service. Will be going back.

Didn’t know it was same owners as misty vale in newtown (which we love). Was staying at the heritage hotel and they recommended we check them out. So glad we did! Service was very friendly and efficient. Sandwiches were delicious and generously made & onion rings were crispy and fresh! 2 sandwiches 2 drinks 2 orders of onion rings and bag of chips under $20. Can’t wait to go back!!

Anything on there menu is a good... if you go for lunch there online orders get backed up... so order ahead so you don't get stuck waiting on your food!!!!

I know this place recently moved, but their food, customer service and overall atmosphere is still phenomenal!

Myself and my fiancé love their turkey club and their breakfast sandwiches. they are well built and the quality is definitely worth the money.

The food is delicious and perfectly priced.
Wish I could add a photo of my family's meal but everyone ate it before I could think of it!
Our favs are: bacon egg and cheese, steak that sandwich and burgers. The salads are good too.

I ordered a veggie wrap, 7 minutes later a lady walked in and ordered same wrap. Her's came out first and they said she had something else which was not so. They lied to me. Very dishonest. The wrap was decent but the lie wasnt.
