Old style neighborhood ice cream shoppe. He was out of a lot of flavors from a busy day & we showed up late. But it was still hard to decide which kind to get. It's is Perry brand ice cream and we all liked it. After chatting with some other customers, we sat outside. I feel that Smarty is this generation's Pat.

Awesome chicken dinner at a reasonable price. The owner is pleasant and friendly. Very clean dinning area. Will try ice cream next visit

Both my dad's strawberry shake, as well as my mint shake (infused with a shot of specialty chocolate sauce), were exceptional! Had a nice conversation with owner...not only is he passionate about the desserts he serves, but he also raises the care and preparation with which he makes the chicken dinners to a high art. Look forward to coming back.

Great ice cream shop, run by a friendly gentleman who appears to genuinely enjoy serving ice cream and interacting with customers. They have bbq and sides as well, but we only tried the ice cream. We are from out of town and came here after riding the carousel at West Endicott Park, a few blocks away. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped in here to try the ice cream and we smelled the chicken and had to get a chicken meal too. I have never had chicken like this before and the sides were to die for. The owner is a funny guy and his establishment is incredible. We are now regular customers. You've gotta get the meal and a milkshake.

I enjoy coming here for Smartys famous milkshakes. His strawberry milkshakes are amazing. Great owner/operator who is involved with entire operation daily.

Great food. Love the owner. He is funny and makes it a great experience every time you go in if it's for ice cream or for that great chicken.

Soft serve black raspberry Ice cream was great and we came back for bbq chicken dinner. The chicken is awesome, we’ll be back.

Very nice place, very nice owner. Our tire went flat on the highway and we crossed over there to use the phone. We had a baby with us so we are very thankful for him letting us wait inside and letting us use the phone. And for the young lady with blonde hair telling me I could take a seat if wanted

Amazing milkshake! Super friendly service! Just how I remember from before we moved to Florida.

Delish! Especially loved the Black Raspberry soft serve. My French Bulldog loved his Doggy dish of vanilla! The owner is so friendly!

We Absoultly LOVED the ice cream! My husband got the peanut butter smore's with chocolate dip top and he said it was AMAZING! I had coconut with coconut dip top and words can't describe how AMAZING it was😁

OWNER...I get people thinks he's rude....it's kind of his thing..lol...but he's by himself..crankin out orders...fast...and until you do that yourself....you'll never know.... says "thank you very much" when you pay.... try it...

Beautiful little shop to hit up a bbq chicken dinner and a banana boat / ice-cream

Sometimes you walk into a place and immediately feel at home. Sometimes when you meet someone you recognize a friend. Pair that with delicious ice cream and out of this world chicken barbecue and you have Smarty's!

The owner of this place is so cool. We love coming back here

Excellent bbq chicken and ice cream. The service is friendly and outstanding. Great experiences there, wether for just ice cream or a chicken dinner too!

LOVED the chicken, though we often go for the ice cream. I love the toasted coconut and my boyfriend loves the superman.
