Frank is a great manager, always goes above and beyond to make everyone’s experience great. I sometimes come here after work.

Today, however, I saw Frank walking a blind woman by her arm to the beverage station, patiently listing all the beverage options to her and awaiting her selection. He even walked her out the door by arm, to make sure she made it ok. Now that is above and beyond service. 🫡

Brisket that falls apart in your mouth. Delicious sides to compliment the meat perfectly. Sweet tea with the perfect amount of sweetness and banana pudding that's so good it'll make you wanna slap yo momma! An indoor playground for the lil'uns too! Highly recommend it!

Surprisingly good barbecue – especially liked the turkey and sausage. The sides are pretty decent and I can actually recommend the brisket beans and mac & cheese. Spicy sauce is way better than the normal sauce so go that route.

The service was so friendly and made the experience very pleasant. The food displayed on the tray was very neat and satisfying to the eye. The place was well kept and tidy. The food was fantastic and I will definitely be going back! Overall, the whole experience was a 10/10!!!

Great BBQ place! Brisket was so fresh and juicy! Turkey was good, too! Backed beans were delicious! And coleslaw was very good. Fresh and delicious! People are very nice.

I come here almost everyday cause they’re next to my ups drop off . Yes it’s a little congested but what isn’t?
It’s not easy being the best at anything but HEB is doing good at what they do.
There will be good days and bad but over all HEB is alright with me.
The staff is awesome and serve me with a howdy and a smile that helps end my day .

Ana was super nice and honestly, for some quick and pretty great quality bbq in Texas this brisket is legit. It may not have the same reputation as the reputable places but it’s definitely in the top 10% of bbq in Austin and it’s a great price. Plus they include all the Texas bbq fixins. This will surprise you if you need bbq and don’t feel like waiting in a ridiculous line. It’s actually better than other places that are well known.

You can't beat the loaded brisket nachos for the price. I recommend adding the brisket beans. Fully loaded up it has Pico, sour cream, guacamole, queso, shredded brisket and is about 1000-1200 calories. I've been skipping Chipotle and coming here instead! Both photos are from different visits.

Come here everyday after my workout at Golds. Theres a guy with glasses at the window that helps me often, and he often refers to me as my man, he is the best person to have at the window by FAR, that u guys got. All others are meh, not bad but not as friendly and customer service oriented as my man. Lol.

Anyways to managers, i just want to let u know that i probably would not have written a review if it wasn't for him and the texas sized sliced brisket sandwich is the best. Need more ppl like him, it really makes the difference every visit.
In fact i wrote this before eating my food, so that says a lot.

I’m new here from AZ, I needed to pick up a few groceries and I kept smelling smoked BBQ. I decided to give H‑E‑B BBQ a shot. I ordered the 3 meat plate Turkey, fatty brisket, and sausage with a side of coleslaw and Mac and cheese. I didn’t expect much from grocery store BBQ but man was I surprised! Great BBQ. I’m sure there is better in the area, but for a quick grab and go everything on my plate was phenomenal! I highly recommend giving it shot.

Insanely great BBQ. The pulled pork sandwiches and the macaroni and cheese are some of the best I've ever had. The picture is the brisket chopped up and mixed with their peppered BBQ sauce. Even their banana pudding is amazing.

I bought the Flintstone rib$25.
I got the one with double greens$30. It was humongous Lee delicious 😋 it was the Friday special! 🤠 Starting at 5 p.m. till they sold out. Excellent ordeal.

Brisket is so darn good!! The combo comes with two sides. I got cole slaw and potato salad. Super delicious lunch or dinner. My husband got the two meat combo with mac n cheese and beans.

With so many BBQ places in Austin I was shocked with how impressed I was at the offerings here at HEB. The fatty brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good. Beans and Mac and slaw all on point. Ms Marie was very helpful too!

Potato salad and sausage were slightly bland, but good textures. Will be back.

Amazing! Fatty brisket ranks at the top for tender brisket! Got full off the Large chopped brisket sandwich, cobbler was good (id say great but a review that positive screams fake), the wife gave the banana pudding 4 out of 5 stars, but the fatty brisket... In a class of its own. Well worth the wait. Been waiting months for this
