Sassy Spoon

We stumbled upon this restaurant while trying to find a lunch spot one day. Fast forward to a busy Thursday and nothing at home on a beautiful evening. A nice drive across the rivers led us to Sassy Spoon. My husband ordered the Goat Rogan Josh, medium, and really enjoyed every delicious bite. Since he works close by I know he’ll be getting his lunch here frequently. The atmosphere and service was great. The mushroom chicken was also delicious and beautifully plated.

We found this restaurant while waiting still a stoplight. I wanted Indian food and my girlfriend wanted seafood and this place has both and a whole lot more. There are more options for various cuisines than I’ve seen at any other restaurant so if you have a geoup of people who want different cultural cuisine, then this is the perfect restaurant for you!

I had the lamb biryani but ordered it mild to be on the safe side. It was full of flavor with the perfect amount of spice and I could smell and taste the perfect blend of all the ingredients. There was a good amount of tender and savory lamb in bite size chunks.

My girlfriend ordered the scallops and her two sides were the steamed vegetable medley and crispy cubes potatoes. The sauce was smooth and creamy and accented the scallops. Her vegetables were crisp and colorful and the potatoes had a nice garlic flavor.

Both servings were generous portions and the prices were very reasonable compared to similar dishes in other restaurants.
We would definitely eat here more if we didn’t live an hour and a half away.

I ordered the sea bass…and it was superb!! Sweet lean fish, so well accompanied by soft cherry tomatoes, and lemon and basil etc omg. Delish. And I tasted my friends dishes and they were delish, too…chicken w mushrooms…then there was the curry with coconut (madras curry?)…this establishment is worth experiencing!! And desserts…top of the line!!! Don’t miss this!! (I think the fish was $38….and others $18-$22). So worth it!! This was my first time here so I really cannot make recommendations on a variety of recipes yet. But I’m coming back to go through the menu.

The Tikka Masala with beef was amazing! So much flavor and you can tell a ton of work and love was put into the food. You can also have opt. Of your level of spice heat too! Medium was just enough kick with everything.

They are super friendly and attentive to your needs and comfort!

Better than I expected. I love curry and the massaman with lamb was great. I had a hard time deciding what to get I will have to come back again and again. Don’t pass up on the garlic nan. Next visit Cobb salad, lots of choices.

I travel for a living . So I get to sample a lot of food since I live out of a suitcase . Barring a couple I haven’t found any other place that suits my palate . This place has amazing Indian Thai and Chinese food . This morning they made a custom made non meat panini sandwich just like I used to enjoy in the Caribbean . There was no Gouda cheese but it still tasted awesome with American cheese lettuce tomato and added potato hash brown . Really filling . I give it five stars bcos hands down the food is amazing

This place was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting or locals. The owner and staff are kind, attentive and courteous. The food was very well plated and delicious! We had combo #4 which is sausage or bacon with toast (white/wheat), two eggs and homefries. Whatever they put on their homefries blows it out of the park!! We couldn't stop eating it just attempting to pinpoint the sauce flavoring! Highly recommend!! 👍👍

Tried this place for the first time today. The service was friendly, food was made fresh to order and the establishment is cleanly. I ordered the mango lassi which was a 10/10. I also ordered the combo breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly with a pretty presentation. My friend ordered the crab cakes and they had a nice flavorful spin on them. Def will be visiting again soon.

Came here for a quick bite to eat. With the nice breeze, they chose to open it up with fans instead of using the AC and it was really nice. Clean tables and fast service helped me decide on pineapple fried rice with shrimp. They made a point to ask about allergies, which is rare and very thoughtful (though unnecessary for me). They made special changes that I asked for. My meal arrived quickly. Very large portion made fresh. Shrimp were cooked perfectly. Would definitely return.

Loved it! Not busy when we were there so we had our choice of outdoor seating. The owner himself was working and chatted with us about different things but didn't "get in the way" of us enjoying our meal. The food was great and the orange juice was AMAZING!! No complaints and only good things to say!

Super super yummy!! The French fries were amazing! And the service great! I wish the serving size was a tiny bit bigger for the price. But this place is a gem! Definitely recommend trying it out.

I stopped in this restaurant while traveling and had the best experience I’ve ever had. I got the Mac and cheese burger with a salad and when I saw the plate my mind was blown! The presentation was off the charts and I’ve never seen anything so pretty before. I’m definitely coming back here! If you’re in the area make it a point to stop by!

Had the chicken cordon bleu which was delicious. So far we have had hamburgers, steak and cheese wrap. All very good. Waiter was extremely personable. Not fancy just great food at a reasonable price.

After destroying my brother in law in pickleball on his birthday for 3 hours, we were on the edge of hangry. Luckily, he was set on the sassy spoon and we didn’t have to indecisively ho and hum about where to dine.

GREAT FOOD! It tasted quality and the presentation was exquisite. I surveyed the crew for their takes: “abruptly elegant”, “scrumptiously charming”, “it was good!”, “beautiful as it was delicious”, “exceeded expectations”.

If your gang has a variety of tastes, this establishment’s menu contains: Thai, Indian, American, and Chinese! You can’t beat that!

There were so many great choices on the menu and everything we ordered was delicious! The butter masala and garlic naan was so good and the coconut shrimp and crab cakes were just as tasty! Service was great and staff was very friendly and welcoming.

WOW! The only word I can use to properly demonstrate the amazing quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. One of, if not the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten.

Staff was over the top courteous and professional. We wanted, for nothing. They even heard us speaking about items not on the menu and went out of their way to ensure we had the experience tailored to our group of 6.

Eating here is a must, if even remotely close to your location. In the future, I would definitely consider returning for their restaurant alone.

We enjoyed a Mother’s Day dinner tonight at Sassy Spoon and boy what a meal!! The food was delicious starting with 5 spice shrimp along with vegetable samosas. Then on to the main course of mushroom and chicken enjoyed by my husband and vegetable curry that I enjoyed. Both entrees were superb!! We then shared a molten chocolate cake for dessert. We can’t say enough about the friendly staff who were very attentive and informative. We literally live in very close proximity to this amazing eatery and will be back over and over again. Our sincere compliments to this establishment.

I went to this restaurant while visiting my brother. This is by far the best restaurant in Cape Canaveral. Chef Mariana, her husband and their staff treated us a if we were family. I have dietary restrictions and Chef Mariana assured me she would take care of me and she did just that. I ordered Chicken Marsala and pasta. It was the best Marsala I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to go back. Be sure to add this establishment to your must go to list. Job well done Sassy Spoon!

An absolute must! Sassy spoon was so freakin' delicious. The Indian food was superb, both super fresh and made to order. Highly recommend the samosas, made by hand and fried so eloquently. Oh, and the mango lassi, the best we've had. If you're into spice, definitely try it medium or even hot spice while still enjoying great tasting food. I'll admit, at first glance the menu looks eclectic and the location is a bit random, but the best hole in the wall establishments usually cover both criteria and this one sure is it. Finally, the staff were incredibly accommodating to a large party with children, along with just being so friendly and professional. The kids mac and cheese was a hit, even with ten adults.

Overall, we were so excited to check out Sassy Spoon. I very much look forward to stopping by again in my future travels. Amazing!
