The Wizard of Oz Museum is our home away from home! We go weekly as my son calls it his “happy place” 🥰 Between the museum, the gift shop and the immersive experience there’s so much to do and see! A lot of love, time and passion went into the making of this beautiful place! Fred and Jackie who we always encounter at the front are always so kind, friendly and knowledgeable of everything Wizard of Oz. This is a hidden gem and we are so lucky to be a short drive away so we get to visit anytime we want! I’d absolutely recommend visiting this wonderful museum!

If you're a Wizard of Oz fan, don't miss out on this experience. This museum hosts many collectibles of Oz series. Also has many areas for kids to enjoy as well. The Van Gogh experience is delightful, but I wish it were a bit longer. All in all it was a fabulous experience.

Wow! An all time favorite movie of mine... ever since I was a little child. For the price, the entire tour was well worth it. We had 5.00 off coupons, which they accepted no problem. Short informational video when you arrive, letting you know what to expect.

Full tour and show took us around 45 minutes. Favorite piece to see- 1st edition book. Excellent display.

All in all, we would definitely recommend visiting the museum. Some of the younger generation may not appreciate everything... however, I do believe they would still enjoy it.

Thanks for a memorable experience!

This is a must see! Nice surprise from my husband to bring me after our cruise. I could stay all day here. Love the history , the memorabilia and the immersive experience is amazing. I grew up watching the original movie and didn’t realize there was so much more. I highly recommend the museum.

We visited on a Sunday. You come up on the turn suddenly so just lay attention so you don't go past. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but you enter the gift shop area and the museum is a very extensive collection. They have QR codes on the cabinets to explain the different items to you. The immersive experience is based on the books by Frank L. Baum. Imagery is different from the wizard of Oz movie. You also see the Vango experience. There are a number of photo opportunities. If in the area you should definitely come for a visit. A must for any fans of Wizard of Oz. There is a public restroom available.

I'm a local but was not familiar with this place. I enjoyed it immensely.

I'm not a die-hard Wizard of Oz fan. Like millions of others, I've seen the iconic movie. But I've never read the book. I didn't even know just how many books there are! The museum did a great job of educating me. It was interesting to find out how many books Mr. Baum wrote, many about Oz, and many not. I find it fascinating that he was such a prolific writer that he used many pseudonyms to publish because he wrote SO many!

The QR code throughout the museum was a nice touch. You can do a self paced tour with it, narrated by the owner.

It is mind boggling just how many things relating to the Wizard of Oz exist! The museum has lots and lots of things. Kids Halloween costumes? Check. Board game? Check. Jelly jars? Check. I could go on and on. But I won't. 😁

There are photo opportunities with some life size items. They have a separate children's room to entertain the little ones. And the 360 immersive room included a space portion as well as Vincent Van Gogh, in addition to the Oz portion. All accompanied by great music.

The items for sale in the gift shop are many. And varied.

The family that owns and manages the place is very friendly and you can tell they love this. Their enthusiasm is contagious. It felt good to support a local business.

Decided to visit the museum for a couple of hours. We are not huge Wizard of Oz fans, but we do enjoy the movie.

You will see so many other books that L. Frank Baum had written that captivates readers! Also it’s amazing how many items you’re surrounded by in stores, online, etc., from a show/movie you’ve seen, that you could simply collect but never did—the owner did this and it’s AMAZING all the beautiful Wizard of Oz items he has collected to showcase.

One of my favorites was the nutcrackers (posted photo). Sit and be a part of the immersion room. You can follow the yellow brick road—or dance down it. The owner even went the extra mile to see if he had sheet music from the movie (he has a lot of old sheet music from movies gone by for sale), but he did not. We were thankful for his help; the owner and manager were both so sweet to talk to and helpful. Come drop by on your vacation and/or if you are interested in the Wizard of Oz too. I won’t post all the pics I took, because you should check it out for yourself.

Excellent family owned speciality museum. The owners were very friendly, and they answered questions and were obviously earnest in wanting everyone to have a great time. The artifacts were interesting, and the experience was a hit with my granddaughter who hasn’t even see the movie. For anyone, who loves the Wizard of Oz, this is the stop for you. The VanGogh fifteen minute bonus feature was excellent.

Excellent little place to go.
Found it on the, Off Chance, as we had just got off the Cruise Ship, (Port Canaveral, Orlando) and was looking for something near by. About 10 mins in a Taxi.
Excellent Displays in Cabinets of the Story, and there are also, QR Codes that you scan which tell you about each item in the Glass Cabinet.
The Virtual Reality room is Brilliant with the Story.
You can even "WALK" down the Yellow Brick Road
Spent about an Hour in the Exhibition altogether.

Clean, Bright.
Informative .
So if your a Big Wizard of Oz fan, then this is for you.

From Ashley and Paula.

I work on a cruse ship and the museum was the closest place for me to visit. Even if you never read the book or seen the film, this is the most recommended place to visit if you are in Cape Canaveral.
