I stayed an extra day in Copper Harbor just so I could come here one more time! The Finnish pancake and thimbleberry donuts are fantastic! Prices are fair. The seating is gorgeous right on the lake. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Great coffee shop. Embraces everything we love about this perfect little town.
Our boys became obsessed with the raised thimbleberry glazed donuts.

We absolutely loved this little coffee shop and bakery located right on the water of Copper Harbor. They have a walk up window to order and some picnic tables to sit at We were able to park our class C camper right up close which was nice. They also mentioned that you can park pretty much on any street without any trouble. We ordered a couple coffees and some of their donuts and pastries. Their donuts were especially delicious as they use thimbleberry frosting which was unique; they even have Finnish pancakes which were great. The view from here are is serene and beautiful. Very close to where the ferry leaves.

Jamsen’s Bakery is a quaint boat shack coffee shoppe & bakery that’s a must try if you’re staying in Copper Harbor. I recently stayed at Trails End Campground 5 minutes west and like many others stopped here waiting to board the ferry traveling to Isle Royal. I ordered a medium roast coffee, the native thimbleberry glazed donut, and a sausage, egg & cheese biscuit sandwich. Everything was delicious and the view of Lake Superior made it that much better. Definitely recommend and look forward to it on your next visit to Copper Harbor.

This little bakery (once a fish outlet) has THEE BEST BISCUITS in the Copper. I will drive all the way up there on Sundays just to buy a few. Those biscuits, sausage, egg, cheese sannies are insanely good.

Great pastries and great coffee. Nice waterfront location to boot. The wild thimbleberry turnover pronounced excellent. I had pannukakku (Finnish pancake) topped with the thimbleberry jam. A custardly treat that should have been reheated just a little more but was still awesome. The black coffees strong and flavorful as promised.

Starting off a Copper Harbor morning at Jamsen’s is a must! The thimbleberry glaze donut and biscuit sandwiches are phenomenal. Every night I went to bed happy, knowing that this would be my first stop the next morning! Plus the views are great from here.

Jamsen’s is THE place to grab a quick breakfast while you’re in Copper Harbor.

The thimbleberry cake and the CBC scone were our favorites, we’d always have them as long as they were not sold out. Coffee and the biscuit sandwich were delicious as well!

The place has a couple picnic tables with a really nice, calm view of Lake Superior.

Can't wait to go back <3

After the long drive, this was the perfect spot for a cup of coffee. A thimbleberry glazed donut was on the menu with other bakery items with a local spin.

It’s not fancy—a walk up window with picnic tables and a fabulous view.

I will always make this my first stop. It’s not far from the campground which is something to note!

We had two ice coffee’s, a blueberry muffin (which was still warm 🤤) and an island Royal donut. WOW!! The long line that we stood in along the shore line was beyond worth the wait. A must have in Cooper Harbor!!!!

Great bakery with great views. Right next to the dock for the boat to Isle Royale. The chocolate cake thimbleberry frosted donut and the cheddar bacon chive scone were fantastic. Great coffee, too. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

I had an excellent cup of coffee, and totally yummy cake donut with THIMBLEBERRY FROSTING! Also, probably one of the best spots for sunrise in Copper Harbor. Thank you for a wonderful morning!

So good we ate here twice while in Copper Harbor. Great sweet and savory options with a breath taking view. Excellent coffee selection as well. The chocolate cake donut with thimbleberry icing was the best!!

A must stop to just take in the area. They longer serve fish. 🤣😉🐟

Super friendly and helpful staff. This place is only open during the spring/summer/fall seasons. Really good pretzel cookie. Wanted to buy a hat and one of the handmade rugs but they didn’t have the right size or color. I can see how this is a favorite of the locals.

Jamsen's is my favorite stop when we stay in Copper Harbor. The CBC (Cheddar, Bacon, Chive) scone is amazing. Never question buying one if you get the chance. When we were in town, they had a Cinnamon Roll scone available- never question buying that one, either! Personally, I would recommend buying 1 extra so you have a backup scone to enjoy if they happen to be out the next day.

We sampled other baked goods from Jamsen's during the trip: the doughnuts, Raspberry Pie bar, and cookies were all phenomenal. Great snacks for long mountain bike rides! Eating a cookie after arriving at The Point was wonderful. Good rock hunting fuel.

It was honestly my favorite part of the morning- taking a walk from our cabin at Bella Vista to the bakery. You can't beat the view, either!

Fast service. Inexpensive pasties, pricey breakfast sandwich. The decaf coffee was fine. The thimbleberry icing on the donut tasted mostly of vanilla. Great morning views by the water.

Great bakery at the ferry boat dock! Line moves quick. Thimble frosted donuts and Michigan blueberry muffins were great. Coffee hot!
