Five star service. The front desk person treated the gentleman before me so nicely and helped me out by going above and beyond. I didn't have my stuff ready but she was patient and helped me get everything i needed. I went 2:30 on Friday and her name started with an M i believe. If only everybody could be that nice. This usps store just gained my business for all my package needs.

Had to make two trips to the New Market, MD post office this week and both times, the employees who helped me couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! Sharinece helped me decide which envelope and shipping would be most cost effective and still arrive the same time. I can't remember the other woman's name who helped me the second time, but she was just as helpful. Thanks to all the staff!

I had some mail issues that should've been resolved by another location, unfortunately the representative didn't appear to care enough to look into the issue and left me to research and figure it out (1 hour later via the 1800 number, I was in the same situation but cleared up on what I should do next).

Thankfully, after researching the top rated near-by office locations (to escape the likes of past office experience), I decided to go to the New Market office where they received quality rating on-line. I am thrilled that I did because my expectations were surpassed via outstanding customer service.

My first contact was with representative Lisa. She was very patient, friendly and informative. I felt listened to and relaxed when leaving.

I later returned to follow up on the same mailing issue executed by the former undesirable location (since it wasn't successfully cleared up) and Lisa remembered our conversation and processed my new request from her location instead. She even went an extra step to follow up with her Postmaster, Robin, to make sure all issues would be effectively cleared up.

Robin followed up with me promptly and to my amazement, she was just as helpful, nice and knowledgeable and patient. She looked more into my issue and offered an effective problem solving resolution.

I have NEVER been in a post office that I felt like crossing my fingers that everyone would be in a good mood. There are other team members at New Market that were in passing and they smiled and said hello. Very nice people working here.

I never desired to write a review on a post office, good or bad. It's one of those things that either you just ignore the atmosphere to not "disturb" your incoming or out-going mail or take your business elsewhere (but where when most folks aren't happy to be employed?).

Not here at New Market. Everyone is kind. Not dismissive. I hope it stays this way.

This being said, Robin is leaving as she has been promoted. I totally can understand why. My short interaction with her excellent. I wish her much success and look forward to continuing my contacts with Lisa and the remaining team at New Market. It was my pleasure. They are all Awesome!

Excellent service. They are extremely customer friendly and attentive to your needs. Only draw back is that there are only two counters, and this makes a longer line. Please add another counter.

Always friendly and fast. I never see more than two people in a line. Fair prices, although those are probably regional or national.

This is one post office that is really on the ball, as far as getting things done, and keeping things organized.

This is an ok post office. My only complaint is that the service is way too slow and no matter what time of day you go to it, it is WAY crowded. Instead of using this, I have discovered that if you go to the Monrovia post office (zip 21770?) which is only about 10, max 15 minutes away from the New Market office you will have more prompt service and no lines :)

Upset as my carrier is out so a sub is filling in. I had a hold mail that was to resume Saturday and it didn't on Saturday or Monday. I had to drive to post office to pick everything up. Thank goodness I did as No mail man on road today at all. It is 6pm. They need to support temporary drivers. This is all unacceptable!

Tracking said they delivered our package yesterday, over the counter, to persons unknown. This started a mess with us trying to get a replacement Christmas present. Then the package was delivered to our house today. Odd tracking.

Front desk gave me such unnecessary attitude when asking about my package.
