Riveredge Resort

Stayed at the Riveredge Resort on my second visit to Alexandra Bay..
Very accommodating staff and a very nice hotel.
I requested a upper floor room close to the water.
I had a fantastic view of the St Lawrence Sea way and downtown A-Bay.
Convenient nice hotel bar and restaurant with attentive staff and good food and drinks...
Perfect place for our day trips in the Thousand Islands ....
Walking distance to everything...
You won't be disappointed...

We had a wonderful stay there. Had a river view from our balcony and got to watch some of the big ships coming in and out. The room was perfect for what we needed, clean, comfortable and our room was right near the elevator. They have 2 restaurants in the hotel. A nice gift/souvenir shop. Definitely would stay there again.

Riveredge Resort is the perfect place to stay if you want views of Boldt Castle. We stayed in the Castle View King room. It was clean, newly updated. The only complaint we had was the resort has a restaurant (a little pricey) so they don't have complimentary coffee for it's guests in the lobby. For big coffee drinkers, that's a problem. Other than that, we had a great stay and will be returning!

Room rates were good for the time of year. Planned for 3 nights and ended up staying 4. I would recommend staying here. People were friendly and helpful. Views from our room were great even though we were closer to shore than the water. You can walk intp town from here as well. Hot tub worked great but the pool was on the cold side,and yes I went into pool before the hot tub

The stay was overall good. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was down.. so much so we bought another jacuzzi room...they gave us a "discount" though it was the same price as TripAdvisor.

Staff was Friendly and mostly attentive. The restaurant was good, though we came to a late dinner and felt as if they weren't interested in us being there....server ended up improving her attitude during our time there.

Overall, I think it was a good time and we would be back.

Straightforward hotel for a reasonable price. Ideal location for Uncle Sam ferry tours. My only critique is that the room keys seem to be extremely sensitive to being placed in a wallet near other cards. I had to get them re-coded 3 out of the 4 days I stayed.

Great hotel! We had very good customer service at the front desk, the food at the restaurants was great too! The pool was a little cold but the hot tub was great! We could walk to the main part of town and to the boat tours to see the different castles. Loved it! We lol definitely go again!

My wife and I have stayed there a few times now and would say it's a nice place, a nice atmosphere and great location for getting any where you want to go in the area as far as walking. My parents stayed there with us as we had rooms looking out on the front over the water towards boat castle and Uncle Sam's boat tours boats. Just beautiful what can I say great weather while I was there. The staff was excellent as usual.

The best view. Great hotel,very clean, staff are very friendly. If you have any inconvenience they will take care less than 5 min.

Worked with Meghan Dudo on venues. So polite and understanding to our wants and needs.
Came to dinner and Windows.
Our server Julia Desormeau was amazing!!! Amazing service. Attentive to our needs. Great attitude. We know it's not easy in this world to find great help. Well you have found it in these guys!!!! We appreciate everything!!!!

Traveling to Alexandria Bay for the weekend and stopped in to the Riveredge for breakfast. Simple menu and great tastings food. Perfect way to start the day.

Julia Desormeau was a AMAZING server and we had such a great time Sara was fabulous tooo!!!! Beautiful view food was great!!! Meghan dudo was so fantastic and we hope to have our wedding her next year!! We love this place!!!

Special thanks to Amelia and Melissa! Excellent costumer service . At night I let front desk know shower gel was needed in less than 3 min problem was resolved. Once again EXCELLENT COSTUMER SERVICE. The best place to stay, very clean and quite to rest.

Always a room with a fabulous view! Rooms are Clean and comfy! Tiki bar is great during season. Stayed here about 5 times so far absolutely love it! The castle view rooms are marvelous. Staff is splendid helpful and kind!

A little older building but nice rooms and beds are comfortable. Small TV which we didn't watch...slow Internet but it did work OK...so 4 Stars.

Really nice hotel with indoor pool, balconies, outdoor tiki bar, and restaurants. Close walking distance to tourist attractions and shops. Definitely want to come back to visit, and would stay here again.

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and it was very clean and very nice. It was an updated suite. I would 1000% go back.

I read previous reviews before attending a military related convention, noting that many of them were during the busy 2022 summer season and negative. My experience was that all the staff were more than accommodating & helpful. Several reviews commented on outdated rooms/stained carpeting. Understand that it is an older facility, I saw many of the rooms had been upgraded. Practically speaking, tough to do any major renovations without significant reduction in capacity during the busy spring to fall season, especially in the post COVID recovery period. I saw a range of 1-3 filled tour buses checking in each day. Renovations would be a logistic nightmare during the winter!
Overall very pleased with the facility, staff and my stay.

Very good resort. Our balcony room looked right across from Boldt Castle. Check in was fast and efficient. We arrived early and the front desk offered to call us when our room was ready. Our waitress Julia at the River Watch restaurant was so friendly and she went above and beyond to make our dinner enjoyable. We highly recommend Riveredge Resort and will come again.
