Cavallario's Steak & Seafood

Very high end restaurant in the heart of Alexandria Bay! It's a little high in the price range but I think it's worth it. The food is so delicious!! My mashed potatoes tasted like it's made from scratch and not from a can! My calamari was perfect! Nice and crisp! My steak was nice and juicy!! I love them medium rare and it was!! The customer service was friendly and courteous ! They made me and my family felt like we belong! They didn't judge us by how we looked. They treated us like proper customers. We appreciated that. I'll probably come back again once I saved some $$$$!

We were here for Pirate Days 🏴‍☠ which is a very busy time already for Alexandria Bay, but additionally there was a wedding party here. We didn't unfortunately decide to stay and wait for a table. But there was live music and the wait staff was not only friendly but also helpful. I'll definitely come back to try the food and enjoy the atmosphere.

We went for my birthday and stayed in the area for one night. Beautiful restaurant, great service and food was delicious. I will not mind driving 2 1/2 hrs again just to dine there.

Unbelievable food and service...I had prime rib and my wife had crab legs we also had French onion soup. The Prime Rib was the best I have had in a very long time... This place is a must have when in this area...

My wife and I went here for dinner and we both agreed Julia was probably the best server we have ever had. The service was absolutely phenomenal even the bus boy Cole was great. They went out of their way to make sure we were as taken care of as possible. Our drinks stayed full and our food was timely and delicous.

Popular place for good reason. Prime rib is perfectly prepared and huge -- pictured is the smaller cut. Also the duck was excellent. A must stop for visitors to Alexandria Bay.

Our dinner was terrific! The bourbon pecan salmon and the 12oz Prime rib with shrimp scampi!

Absolutely the best food and service I have had in a very long time. The food was done to perfection. I highly recommend the lobster shooters, lightly fried and so tender. Steak is cooked exactly how you order it. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Atmosphere wonderful. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Came here tonight for my birthday dinner with my parents. Escargot, ribeye, and lobster tail were all phenomenal. Molly was our waitress and she was a powerhouse!! She even brought us a hot brownie with raspberry icing, whipped cream and chocolate sauce, and wrote Happy Birthday on the plate, without even being asked! The food and service here exceeded our already high expectations. Cavallario's will always be our must-stop place up here in Alex Bay!! Thanks for a great birthday dinner!

This is another overdue review. Wife and I travel to the 1000 islands every year (going on 12 years) and typically stay in different areas of the river but the one thing we always do is dine at Cavallarios. And with good reason. They have literally never let us down. Service has always been incredible. Never pushy and always attentive. The consistency of the food is unrivaled. We brought friends from out of state this year and they were blown away. The whole experience is a testament to how much the owners care about their craft. They've updated the decor quite a bit in the last few years, which looks incredible, but did not sacrifice any quality. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much Cavallarios. You have customers for life.

We were blown away by the food! Their chefs are amazing, they service was wonderful very friendly and the treated each customer as if we were family. Had such a great experience! We will definitely be back!

If you want a good meal in town this is the place. Definitely a step up from the rest.

Ate dinner there on our honeymoon and thought it was great. We decided to come back 50 years later on our anniversary. We were a little leary because of some bad reviews we read
But was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good as back then. I've learned that some people are never satisfied. I highly recommend this place.

After reading a few negative reviews, my wife and I had reservations about eating here. I can honestly say we were very impressed. Folks you get what you pay for. I haven't had that fine of a meal or that kind of service in quite a while. Highly recommend. The fillet was cooked to perfection, the service was fantastic. My drink was never empty. Will dine there again.

Go there yearly for our anniversary dinner. They have updated lots of aspects of the physical restaurant and outside bar. Great atmosphere outside. I've never had a bad meal and the prices are fair.

We can't wait to come back here. Service was incredible and food was amazing and huge amounts. They start you off with a loaf of was buttery bread. I would love to see the kitchen because this is one smooth running operation. Staff alllooked professional and dressed the same.

Cavallario’s was really great…the outdoor atmosphere was nice, and the surf and turf my girlfriend and I both ordered was incredible…steak was cooked rare as requested, and the lobster tails were delicious. The sauce they use on top of the calamari is probably my favorite that Iv had anywhere.

Great food but service is very slow. The bar is happening and the bartenders try to make the best out of it but we waited over an hour when the hostess told us 15min.
