Creature Comforts Cafe

The prices are steep ($6.50 latte & $4.50 drip) but this is not an ordinary coffee shop. Prime real estate on a corner lot downtown with surrounding floor to ceiling windows and natural light and leafy plants galore. The decor is captivating: original and modern, with tasteful quirky subtleties. Nothing is tacky or cookie cutter. The latte was the perfect temperature and stayed hot for the whole half hour it took me to drink it. Think well developed flavor with the right espresso and milk ratios and no burnt flavor. The staff are adorable, friendly and brimming with effort. I recommend this coffee shop as a monthly indulgence you are sure to look forward to returning to.

This is our new favorite coffee shop in Boulder! Beautiful bright clean and airy - super friendly staff - and delicious coffee AND food! Best part is no tip screen! Everything is included in the price which we love. Can't recommend enough!

Love this place already! Nice mix of seating for both working on your laptop or socializing with friends. Plenty of outlets as well. I’ve been here a few times now and enjoyed the cold brew, black sesame mochi muffins, and cucumber toast.

Creature Comforts is one of the best new coffee shops in town. If you are on East Pearl, you must visit this lovely establishment. The owner Jess is so sweet, love Lily, and the entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. There is a strong sense of inclusivity in the space, not to mention it’s so spacious and fresh feeling with the high ceilings, natural light, and grennery. This is my new go to spot for any meetings on Pearl st.!! Try the yuzu matcha, it’s divine 💚

This is such a fantastic new coffee shop/community space/ aesthetic inspiration in boulder. Expertly pulled espresso shots and delicious black sesame mochi muffins were the highlight of my first visit. I’m sure I’ll be back for more.

I like this place because of the natural lighting, how spacious it is and the kindness of the community. While I think the design is cute, I wish they offered better seating because it's mostly backless concept furniture that's low to the ground. More couches and chairs would be nice. Overall, I find this place very charming and will continue to visit.

Love this new little cafe right on Pearl street. A great place to work or catch up with friends over incredibly good coffee and nice food. It’s super bright and airy in there so it makes it feel outside even on the inside.

This place is lovely! My fiance and I had a piece of toast with yuzu jam and pomegranate seeds...which I would include a photo of but it was tasty so we ate it immediately. Lovely vibe and wonderful space. Will be coming back.

A lovely new spot! I had no idea I visited during the soft opening as there were no apparent kinks to be worked out. The space is beautiful, coffee was delicious, and staff so kind. They have unique food that still fits a coffee shop vibe (gorgeous toasts and Asian inspired pastries.)

The vibes are immaculate! The atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming, and my drink was so perfectly tasty. If you have to drink decaf like I do, you’re in excellent hands, it’s seriously the smoothest decaf espresso I’ve had in town!

A genuinely bright, lovely space to hang out and get some work done. The toasts are delicious, and I'm excited that they are looking for a good chai supplier to expand their already impressive drink menu. There are so many seating options, and I personally love the décor and feel of the entire café. The staff is friendly and attentive as well. Jess, the owner, is super great to chat with and is very invested in customer feedback. Just an overall wonderful space!
