High Point Truckstop

This retired truck driver has happy memories of this place. Even 40 years ago most drivers did not know of this little truck stop. I learned about from some old hands, who are long departed now. I think this place is more of a cozy local restaurant now, rather than a truckstop. The restaurant in those days had a warm family atmosphere about it. I am sure that part has not changed. I hope to travel there again soon.

Limited parking but great service and the restaurant next door has good breakfast.

This is an excellent hiding place to park. The store was small, but clean and stocked well enough. The bathrooms were older, but everything worked and was VERY CLEAN. The restaurant next door may not look the best on the inside, but the inside has been totally remodeled and the food was EXCELLENT! A very home town feel to the entire place. YES, it is $10 to park overnight but if you eat at the restaurant, or just buy something from the store, your covered. Their store prices were very reasonable. There are not a lot of spots, but it is definitely quiet there. I will be back!!!

I like this little truck stop for some reason I keep running out my clock as I approach this place. I have always found a spot and in thanks always try to give these people some business. The only drawback is that they close early and there is no bathrooms. I agree it has a home feel to it. The diner next door is also a really good place to have breakfast.

I come here once or twice a week to park overnight, very friendly staff remembers me every time and gives a genuine warm greeting. They even stock the new coconut red bull I can't even find at walmart. Altogether I appreciate starting my day at this small town stop

I'm just happy that this place exists. I'm not familiar driving this part of America anymore and I overshot where I should have parked for the night. Every truck stop and rest area was full past capacity but, out of nowhere, this magical truck stop had one spot open at 1230 am. I am very grateful that this place exists.

Great place, reminds me of old school truckstops. Food was really good and staff was very attentive. Parking lot was ample but they are off the interstate which was nice

Man this is a cool little truck stop Danny work there great guy to talk to they have a restaurant next door me and my breakfast was excellent and people were very friendly I'm hoping I'm back there again just to go talk to Danny and have breakfast next door

Old school truck stop, cheap fuel prices, some small holes in lot, cold drinks, $10/park ...my kind of stop, definitely be back "Exit #307. I-81 VIRGINIA
