Bruiser's Burgers

Nice gastropub. Fair prices. I had the beet & goat cheese salad with mango dressing. It was delicious and artfully plated.
My hubby had the bruiser burger. It was a good-sized beef patty on a pretzel bun, and it is served with well seasoned fries. I didn't care for the fries, but hubby liked them.

We finally had the opportunity to try Bruisers Burgers in Surfside…. And it was fantastic.

We originally planned to eat in however my toddler fell asleep so we decided not to wake her and to save everyone from listening to a miserable toddler post a ten minute nap 🤣

First, I will say; staff were exceptional (Trinity F.) I stayed in the car with the sleeping kiddo while my ten year old ran in to get a menu. He was the liaison between a sleeping toddler and a take out order. He went in to pay and pick up and said they were all very friendly and treated him kindly.

We decided to try a mix of things. We ordered fresh guac and a queso sauce with nachos. Both dips delicious, and it was plenty. We also ordered a trio of sauces to try.. they gave us their top three and they were all so good (bruiser sauce, truffle mayo and spicy ranch.) For the toddler, we grabbed a grilled cheese and fries (the grilled cheese was huge!) the FRIES were delicious - seasoned and cooked perfectly. The main event was the burgers!!! You could taste that they were made fresh and with love! They were cooked perfectly.. a medium cook and the flavours were amazing. My son had the South Paw (pulled pork burger) and I had the welter which had Swiss and arugula. We were both full after eating HALF of the burger!! Clearly, burgers is their jam - and the hype about this place is well deserved. Very well priced.. all of this food only cost $50…

The only complaint was that we hit traffic on the way home and had to smell the deliciousness, whilst salivating for far too long 😜 Give them a try- you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back again soon!!

My wife and I decided to give Bruiser's a try..and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the server/bartender was great. I had the mushroom burger and my wife had the Bruiser's burger and we split a side of Mac and cheese.They have a large beer menu and an outdoor seating area as well. I Would love to come back when my wife isn't pregnant and have some summer beers outside with a good burger in our hands. We will certainly be back!

Wow! These burgers were delicious. Wife had the Bare Knuckle burger. A pretty typical burger, but big and tasty. I had today's special, the 10 count burger, with ghost pepper cheese and grilled pineapple. A perfect balance of heat and sweet. Absolutely amazing burger. Great fries and great service too.

Small place in Surfside with Help Wanted sign in window. There WAS a slight wait, but the bartender was doing triple duty as waiter and bus boy and the chef was washing dishes between orders. SO! Be nice, be patient and you will be rewarded.

Great place with delicious freshly made burgers and fries. Great service as well. Stopped back in today and had the Challenger Burger (Swiss mushroom) with their fries. Definitely a place to stop in and try out.

Tried this place out for the first time after hearing my parents go on and on about it. And boy were they right!? I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Our waitress also suggested the Mac and cheese balls for an appetizer and I’m so glad I took her recommendation, amazing!! Cool atmosphere, great service, fantastic food, delicious hand cut fries, great selections and an all around good time! You’re missing out if you don’t give this place a try. We’ll definitely be back!!

First time at this restraunt and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and it was one of the best burgers that I have had. We had a waiter that was very attentive to every table and was very friendly. I will definitely visit again on my next trip.

We stopped in for a burger our first night here. The burgers were very good! We all tried different burgers. )The Bruiser, The Welter, The Bare Knuckle and The Center Ring.) The fries were hand cut and tasted delicious with a splash of malt vinegar!

The best burger on the Grand Strand !! Wow. Fresh and delicious flavors. Fries really hit the spot for me!

River city has been my go to burger place for several years. Bruisers Burgers just stomped River City, the burgers are awesome but the show stoppers are the fries, OMG! These fries are most likely the best fries I have ever had in my life. The sides I have had so far are great. Get there early I recommend 4pm. I have absolutely no idea why this place does not have a line around the building. Get here before it becomes so popular that it is difficult to get a seat. I have taken 3 people here to get their reaction and everyone of them says it it awesome and would prefer it over River City. Josh is an excellent waiter and is nonstop go. If You like hefeweizens, I recommend the Blueberry hefeweizen they have on tap.

Bruiser’s is delicious! The burgers were amazing, from the buns to the toppings. We both ordered the hand cut fries and sauce trio. All were fantastic! We can’t wait to visit again.

If you’re looking for a laid back environment that serves an excellent burger this is your spot! Every bite was delicious! Will definitely come back.

A hidden gem. It surprises me this place is never jammed packed when we go here. The burgers are delicious and huge. Chow chow i really good. The chicken sandwiches are good as well. Nice bar to sit at and an outdoor area.

I had the Bruiser burger with fries and both were top notch. Bruiser's was busy but Jodi was able to take care of all of the tables solo without trouble. I'll definitely be going back.

The food is AMAZING. The burgers are never frozen and you can taste how fresh they are! The unique ingredient combinations are delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

4/23 A group of us wandered in last week. All burgers and fries were excellent and enjoyed by all of us. Jodi our server was helpful with all our questions and seating arrangements. Overall 5 stars since server and food was so good. Maybe you should try them. Plenty of parking!!

So excellent! I ordered the mushroom burger made with white American cheese (instead of Swiss) with a glass of tart-cherry Noble hard cider. Totally yummy, down to the fries! We will return. Each of us loved our burger.

One of the best restaurants to visit in the surf side beach area. The bruiser burger was so delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very positive. Our waitress was very kind and she brought our food quickly. We came back the next day for a takeout and the bartender was very friendly and hilarious. Bruisers burgers is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area and I highly recommend eating here.
