Took 2 horses in for saddle fit. Great customer service. Given advice on how to help saddles we own fit correctly. Backs were measured in multiple areas and compared with saddles. Shims adjusted in saddle pad to enhance fit. Large selection of used & new tack. Kind & experienced horsemen/women operating. Purchased 1 used saddle and left one on consignment. Nicest & clean portable toilet & only heated 1 I have ever been in!!

I took my 11 year old grade gelding here and Rick treated him like Metallic Cat. He spent an hour with me and stayed late to sell me a used saddle. He took measurements several times on Churro and tried several saddles and pads till we got the right combination and he was satisfied with the fit. Top notch people. I wish every business interaction was of this caliber.

Thank you RC Bean for helping me fix my beautiful spur straps. I lost a concho and had it held together with a zip tie for a good while and finally went in and asked for help to get it fixed. They had a single concho and sold it to me at a reduced price and cleaned my spurs and straps and I can’t be more thrilled at how much care they took. Amazing business and people!

Ricky is a true artisan. Handcrafting western saddles since he was a young man. His bespoke work is a real asset for any person privileged enough to own any of his work. Apart from his extraordinary skills with leather, Ricky is an extremely nice and affable gentleman. I am sure glad that I know him.

Rick and Kristie have been taking care of the Treasure Valley horse community for almost 50 years and have always been good, honest, hard-working people. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers every single time. There are people in this valley who’ve been coming to this store for over three generations and there’s a reason for it. If you bring your saddle in to get repaired, listen to everything he has to say…because it’s one thing for someone to go to a couple classes and call themselves a saddle maker, but nothing comes close to the value of experience, and Rick has over 50 years of it. You can always count on your rig being the safest it could be if you take it to Rick. My family will be coming here until the day they close it!

I love coming in here and just looking. However I've spent several hundred dollars on really nice tack and assorted items. Really quality tack and everything a vaquero or buckaroo needs!

I have a very nice roping saddle, Is my dad handed it down to me. It is not one you see very often anymore. It needed new billet, Off billet, The rope tie needed to be moved, and best collar needed to be fixed. This guy is a master leather tooler and saddle maker, he can fix anything and has the knowledge through decades of experience. Is my older Is rope horse And starting to get a little bit of a sway back. He measured my horse's back And instead of saying I need to buy $300 way back pad, he Cut me a shim and it was all i needed to make my horse more comfortable. He knows what he's doing and i really appreciate the time and help i got at RC.I don't trust just anyone to work on my equipment. This place has my business for life.

Went there for leather repair for my shoeing chaps. He did it on the spot and the price was more than fair. Quality repair that was actually better than the original. Nice shop with tons of selection. Highly recommend.

Great couple who are friendly and helpful. They have quality products. Prices are a bit on the high side. Store is clean and there's a small building for used/discounted items, including saddles.
