Ho Ting Restaurant

I’ve been searching for EVER in the surrounding twin cities area for the best general tso tofu… they know exactly how to prepare their tofu and seem they have a lot of experience with it. It’s extremely crispy and the best consistency. The owners are so friendly that I came 3x in one week😂 their cream cheese wontons are also to die for. I saw them making the wontons homemade and they’re absolutely delicious. 5/5 ⭐ attached pictures to show the tofu

This place has new owners. Everyone was very friendly, and knowledgable about the dishes.
Clean and inviting sit down area.
I really enjoyed the mock duck, fried rice and egg rolls.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fast service after sitting down food was out in less than 20mins all hot and cooked throughly. Got the sesame chicken and it was great with a little bit of a kick but nothing crazy. Best thing were the cream cheese wontons would recommend them to anyone

One of the best Asian restaurants in town. They have such an assortment of dishes. All taste good. I haven’t picked a bad one yet. Deff worth a try. I travel 30 minutes just to eat here!!!

Waitress was super nice, food was great (I didn't care for the soup, but that may be a "me problem"). Highly recommend!

Excellent. The food was superb. I am not from the area, so I just came across this place by chance. Next time, I will seek it out! Fresh cooked Chinese food, and it might have been the best I’ve ever had. If you are a local, you want to keep this place in business. So go support it and eat there. You will be glad you did!

Delicious cuisine with a fresh appeal, generous servings, and served piping hot. Wontons are a delight, and the egg rolls are unrivaled in town!

Best cream cheese wontons anywhere, small and tasty and just the right amount of crispy. The General Tso's tofu is very flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. We also have enjoyed the fried rice and the shrimp lo mein. Owner is wonderful.

Best Chinese food in Eagan by far. Staff are fantastic, and service is quick. Very basic interior for dine-in but you can not go wrong here

We stopped by and checked out the restaurant and picked up a menu. After trying several other Chinese restaurants in the past 2.5 years , we have finally found the one. The sweet and sour pork was fantastic.

Recently ordered take out from Ho Ting. Had Singapore style noodles, vegetables with tofu and Generals Chicken. The food was good. Especially enjoyed the veggies, the sauce was better than what I typically eat.
Singapore was really good, lots of spice and curry flavors. I ordered it without pork or shrimp, they happily substituted chicken to accommodate my request.
The generals chicken was flavorful. They add veggies. To the dish, which is nice. I would have preferred my chicken a bit more crispy, but it wasn't bad. They threw in a generous portion of white rice and some sheer cheese wonton.
The staff are fantastic. It's a family operation, kids were there helping and doing homework at the same time.
I would recommend Ho Ting, I plan to go back.

I love the food here! They have the BEST cream cheese puffs. They are quick, easily accommodate any requests, and everyone is always very friendly when I go in. The inside is very small, best for their lunch buffet. But take out is great, I've been here many times and recommend to my friends all the time!

Scott and I have had take-out and eat-in meals here many times over. The ingredients are fresh and dishes are well seasoned. You can ask for mild, medium or spicy. The shrimp items are especially delicious. Judy is friendly and kind! Better quality for the price. We support small independent businesses whenever we can!

Staff is always extremely pleasant and has consistently exceeded expectations in providing great service and delicious food. I've taken dates here and been told their orange chicken is the best they've ever had! The price is relatively expensive for the typical Chinese joint, but I say they earn it.

Don't skip the cream cheese wontons, they're delicate little packs of cream cheese wrapped in a dough that practically melts in your mouth. It sounds like one order should be enough to share, but you won't want to after eating just one. The food here is cooked to order and is so incredibly fresh and flavored. I have my spicy favorites, my husband is a devotee of their chow mein lineup.

I love their egg rolls and even better, I love that they have cups of super spicy mustard you can ask for. The kind where just a dab will open the most stuffy of noses. I'm convinced their hot and sour soup has medicinal properties.

Steak Kow, Garlic Shrimp are two of my favorites, but I'm starting to work my way through the extensive menu to try more of their offerings. The family who works here is so warm and friendly, I'd support them even if their food wasn't as good as it is.

This is where I order from to have it brought to work. Always hot and fresh. My coworkers and I know we are valued as customers. Many restaurants make me feel sick aftewards because of the grease but I've never gotten sick here. I like to get many of the chicken dishes, my coworker always gets the Jumbo Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Lo Mein. Never a problem. Glad to give my business to local small businesses!

While their location is a bit older, and their shop may seem a bit on the small side, the food is more than delicious. Everything is made to order with home made sauces and dishes. The atomosphere could for sure use an update and their pricing is a bit on the high side, a few things to look out for. Make sure to try out their friend rice and garlic beans!

Excellent!!I just had the Szechuan beef it was perfectly seasoned and nice and spicy the rice was perfect and was not clumpy very good!!!!

The person taking was so kind and patient with people before and after me. She recognized frequent customers and threw in extra cream cheese wonton for me. Loved supporting this business!
