I call this place Yaaron ka Adda. When you go there at night time with your friends and order spicy Panner bhurji and chicken kadai 😍 it has another vibes. All times favorite restaurant.

I forgot to take pictures because I was busy eating — it was so good!!
It reminded me of the delicious food my friends’ parents would cook and share with me.
The flavors were so deep, exquisitely balanced, and I savored every single bite of it.
And everyone working there were so kind and nice to talk to.

I can’t wait to come back soon.

Authentic species, and trust me, the best. The ambience can be much worked on, but someone who loves food more than the view, you are missing it if you don't visit this place.

To all those people who miss that "desi dhabha" taste, this is surely at your rescue.

My family loved the food here. Best Indian restaurant in NJ! Mom Dad and family loved it a lot. The owner and staff were really helpful and great.

Basic dine in option with amazing food. The main cook came out to take order and we told him that we haven’t had Punjabi food for a long time and make it like that’s available in Punjab. He took care of the rest. Food was amazingly delicious and reminded me of some of the best restaurants in north India. Kebab was succulent and butter chicken was fantastic. Will be back again.

Tried the kebabs-chicken tikka, Malai kebab, bihari kebab. The best kebabs I've ever had hands down. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to. Incredibly juicy and tender chicken. I asked them to make it spicy and they made it extra scrumptious. I'm ordering kebabs from this place again whenever I have guests over 100%. Must try

Great food good service even though the place is dated. Don't let the interior fool you - the food here is great. Everything is made to order and really flavorful. Naan bread was on point.

The food here is amazing. Fresh and delicious every time I ate here or ordered takeout. I don’t know why there is so many bad reviews but do not believe it and go try for yourself. You will not be disappointed! Try the garlic naan and the tandoori chicken it is delicious.

Also there is BIG sign that says there is a fee for using cards. They do not process unnecessary charges!

This place, hands down, THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I have ever had in my life! I have had eaten in the #1 rated place in Queen and that was great but this place is even better!!

Very good tasty food but not as other review freshly made. Heat and serve curries but tastes good. Naan are made fresh.

Sitting area is not that good as you see in picture but food tastes SOO GOOD!! I've been coming here for over 2 ½ years and eveytime I come here, I love everything I ordered. I tried almost everything on the menu but Daal Tarka is still my favorite 😍

Update Sep 2019: Downhill since then. Now its supported by a butcher shop within. Buy the marinated meats or fish and grill it yourself. Has reasonable rates. Guess no one likes their strong flavored food without set ice anymore although its situated in dense Desi neighborhood. Also bare minimum ambiance, not to bring in someone to impress! Portions and prices are generous and affordable. 2017:Best desi in heights, makes masala from scratch! Chicken Kebab platter, yumm!!!

I think it’s very to the restaurant where people are giving 1-3 star reviews. The food is extremely delicious, and I can put the prices and looks aside because it’s so extraordinarily good! It is not the kind of place I would go to dine in. It is not made for ambience. It is made purely to serve you deliciousness and that’s all I care about. If they hired someone to improve their look and marketing, it would be off the charts. But I think the owner prefers it to be a low key type of place. Also it’s a little pricier because let’s face it, this kind of food quality takes love and effort to make delicious. It’s worth the price.

Wow. Was in the mood for Indian and I found this amazing food with exceptional flavors. Ordered pick up and it did not disappoint: goat curry, chicken tandoori, garlic Naan and white rice.

We ordered Chapli kebab, garlic Naan and chicken Tikka from here and food was amazing. Food was prepared on time after ordering it online.

Been going there since last 3 years. Babar (chef) prepares food fresh on order. I prefer ordering chicken Sikh kabab, tandoori chicken, kaju curry and any other veg or non vegetarian curries. He has be kind enough to adjust test to my liking. Prices have gone up recently but inline or less compared other nearby by indian style restaurants.

Come here only for the amazing delish food. If you are looking for ambience, views, seating, not for you. But if you are looking for straightforward authentic Pakistani food, knock here. Amazing biryani, curry and peshawari roti! Finally found a spot that does spicy food, spicy.

This is honestly handsdown the best halal spot to eat some well seasoned and spiced meal in Jersey City. I've gone to other restaurants and cannot stop coming back to the point where. I'm going to start helping out the staff on weekends to get knowledge on the cooks techniques and his recipe.

Simply the best food. No contest. Ujala special chicken is my favorite. Rice pudding is amazing.
