Rubicon Trail is absolutely gorgeous views! Terrain is fairly flat until the last 2 miles back to the parking lot. There is a parking fee. A few switchbacks. We hiked passed the lighthouse to Lester Beach. Beautiful beach!

Great trail, much less crowded than those in Emerald Bay. We saw a bear during our hike and beautiful views of the Tahoe lake and beaches. Moderate type trail, this also has access to other areas to hike towards Emerald Bay.

This trail takes the absolute breath away with stunning views of the rock formations to the views of each pine tree. The lush natural beauty of Tahoe just gives you a different perspective on life on this trail. Try it, experience it. Bring your extra battery so you can have more photos.

Beautiful hike. I didn't think to take a picture at the trailhead because I was so caught up in everything else. They said 4.5 miles to emerald bay. We took the hike and back.... breathtaking! Hike photos attached...well a few

This is a great lakeside trail that is easily accessible from the DL Bliss beach parking area and trailhead parking area.
It goes along the lake mostly flat, with some ups and downs, but is overall a easy trail to hike.
In many places there are spectacular views, and some of the trail goes along a rocky outcropping that is pretty amazing.
The DL Bliss park sometimes gets full by noon on weekends or holidays, so try to arrive early.
There is a $10 day pass fee to enter the park.
If the park is full, you can park along the road outside the park, then hike about a mile or so in to access the trail.

There is a Good beach to play with Tahoe water. The parking lot is just nearby, and bathroom is. 1 minutes to beach. We had wonderful afternoon with two kids: teen and toddler.

Awesome hiking along the Tahoe rim. Exceptionally scenic views of the emerald blue waters of Lake Tahoe. There’s mini trails leading off with water access via boulders. This a is a less than moderate hike or moderate glue hike depending on acclimation. The trail connects to other tails in the area or con be done by itself. Allow extra time to take in the Amazing views.

Great spot to start hiking down the awe inspiring and beautiful Rubicon Trail. You'll climb a bit at the start, but after that, the ups and downs are pretty mild - but you won't even notice because the views of the lake and the peaceful pine forests are so captivating. We just went to Emerald Point and back since that's got most of the highlights.

This is part of the DL Bliss State Park so you'll have to pay ten bucks to park here, and at peak times the closest lot will be full. If you're really unlucky, the next closest lot may be full too, and at that point you have to hike two miles in from the highway or start somewhere else.

Saw a bear next to the trail but it was minding it's own business. Wildflowers blooming now and very scenic. Can't wait to go back.

Decent 15-16 mile hike in and out. Dips by Emerald Bay at multiple points. Lots of rocks to climb for photo ops.

Nice view and a good stroll watching the lake. There is a 10$ entrance fee to get to the point. Might not be enough parking for a long weekend crowd. The trail gets you all the way to Emerald bay if you are a hardcore trekker

We brought our 4yo, 2yo and 6mo so we only hiked about half a mile out then back but the views of Lake Tahoe were STUNNING! There were some steep drop offs so we had the 2yo in a hiking pack. It was tiring but completely doable and absolutely worth it!

Relatively easy hike, but the views are to die for!
